sea major ★★★ dimitri - Leigh - 11-30-2018 [div style="width: 45%; text-align: justify; font-size: 12pt; letter-spacing: -1px; font-family: times new roman;"]♡ — [member=1172]dimitri.[/member] Even in the worst of situations, life always manages to spring back even stronger and healthier than before. In nature and even with people; even moreso, Sunhaven. Leigh had joined after the initial flood, during the evacuation up into the mountains. It was scary, seeing these people struggle to rebuild, but they were managing and it lit up a fire in his belly. He had run from his problems before, but he was determined to not do it again. The unicorn was trying to help in whatever ways he could. And unfortunately his skillset was limited to petty thievery, minor medical knowledge, and gardening. Luckily, however, the third option was something he could make use of. You could never have too many foods or herb gardens around the place. So he'd pick out a little plot of soil, brushing away a light film of frost with a gentle hoof and start digging around in the dirt. His once tense composition seemed to melt into relaxation with every passing second. Re: sea major ★★★ dimitri - Dimitri - 12-01-2018

Dimitri wasn't quite used to these new arrangements, he was already considering moving to the Acendents. This place was ruined and would stay ruiuned for a while- he took in a deep sigh. Dimitri's eyes landed on the Unicorn and he perked up for a moment, looking upon her. Do I... know her? Dakota perked up too, and Dimitri could hear the old man chuckling and feel his smile. He could already feel the switch incoming and he didn't try to stop it- the less people he had to interact with, the better. Dimitri's paws were starting to turn black and he could feel himself slipping, slowly stumbling towards the unicorn. His body started shifting till he was smaller and his face starting to change shape. It took about a full minute, as Dimitri slipped away and Dakota took control. The old persian was rather ugly. He didn't have his glasses, causing him to squint. Dakota hobbled over, his steps slow and deliberate. His back was hunched and he brushed the crust from his eyes. He snorted, coming to the unicorn's side and looked up at her. "Hello..." Dakota's voice was small and gruff as he greeted the unicorn. He remembered the little old man back from Snowbound, when he had asked him or— "Magikatricks"— to help him start up a garden at his home. The tundra had been a horrible place to try and cultivate. It never suited the unicorn's thirst for farming and he never did understand why he had them settle there if most, even him, had been less than enthusiastic at the idea. Though looking back on it, it had been a wonderful challenge at the time and Leigh had done his best to peruse every book he owned to finally figure out what little bit he could plant in the cold earth. And maybe he went a bit overboard at the time, but he made a good man happy and that made him ecstatic. It took all of his willpower to refrain from greeting the male like an old friend. He doesn't know you, Leigh. He knows. Do you? The unicorn smiled warmly towards the Persian and lifted a dirt smudged hoof in greetings. "Hey." he greeted simply. "I- uh- don't think we've met before. I'm Leigh." |
