UNRAVEL ME // SUNHAVEN AT BORDER - buckingham barnes - 11-29-2018
The maine coon hoped he was making the right decision. Bucky knew from personal experience that Sunhaven and Ascendants didn't get along well. He knew that he was upset towards Ascendants in the midst of the fighting, but that anger isn't there anymore. The fighting has died down, as if it's never happened in the first place. Plus, even he hated to admit that all of the fighting sparked from miscommunication-- and that he didn't see it like the rest of his clanmates originally. With his first act as leader, he decided to travel to the Ascendants, with his goldenblood's Gordon and Bex. Bucky knew both of them weren't big on the fighting, so hopefully no fights will break out. He doesn't want this to end south, he hoped they'll walk away as neutrals. The maine coon silently padded up to the border, a sigh escaping his lips as the Ascendants scent invaded his nostrils. The last time he was here, he took Harland-- he shouldn't have done it, even if he was trying to protect his little brother from that mysterious murderer. Remember to apologize for that, He told himself, as a npc Ascendant member ran forward, ears flattened to their skull. He looked over at them, knowing that it would be tense at first- generally your enemy isn't sitting at the border, waiting. "We want to talk with Agathe, we mean no harm," The former assassin explained, to which the npc nodded slowly, as if they didn't trust him completely, and made their way to fetch the Astral Seraph. He then waited, trying to ignore the anxious feelings that things will go wrong. The tiny she-cat often went out of her way to prevent violence and actually attempted to visit The Ascendants before. Unfortunately, nothing really happened during her visit but she was glad to see the Buckingham had sought her out to help him talk to Agathe. Gordon followed after the maine coon, staying close to him as she arrived.

Re: UNRAVEL ME // SUNHAVEN AT BORDER - REBECCA MACK - 11-29-2018 [align=center] SUNHAVEN — GOLDENBLOOD — FEMALE — BORDER COLLIE — PLAYED BY KICKSIE The collie followed her other two clanmates to the border, suddenly remembering the time when she had tried to join this place. That was months ago, before she had become apart of Sunhaven. Quite honestly, they weren’t so bad back then. A bit serious and not fond of her passing over the border, but she wouldn’t make that same mistake this time. The woman stayed behind the border, keeping herself calm as she waited for someone to greet them, hoping that this would go well. Re: UNRAVEL ME // SUNHAVEN AT BORDER - tikki - 11-29-2018 PAPERCROWN 15 MOONS — WEARS A BANDANNA — INSOMNIAC Paper didn't know about the fights that had happened with the Ascendants, didn't know about how there was someone here whom had murdered someone, blaming it on the new leader that stood at the border now, waiting patiently. Eventually the truth had come about, but it had taken time and a war, as well as losing an ally to the ascendants. Of course, Paper didn't know any of that, for he had joined a fairly decent time after all the fighting had been done, only knew upon his joining that he only had one ally in this clan that he now reside in, and thought it was the same for most other clans, so when he saw the male on the border with two others, curiosity prickled through his body, and Papercrown stepped forward towards the border. He didn't know where they came from, just that they did not smell of the Rosebloods - and that made him slightly wary, but they were being nice, they were waiting, so it meant that he didn't need to do much at this point in time - good, he was too tired for fighting and shit anyway. "I'm sure he'll be back soon with her." Paper would speak, having overheard what Bucky had said to the npc that was now making his way through the territory to try and find their leader. "I didn't catch your names, or where you're from. I'm a bit new to this clan stuff, so I mean no harm if I'm meant to know already." [member=2568]agathe.[/member] © MADI
Re: UNRAVEL ME // SUNHAVEN AT BORDER - agathe. - 11-29-2018 [align=center][div style="width: 500px; text-align: justify; font-family: Verdana; font-size: 12px; color;"]It had taken all of Agathe's power not to order the NPC to send them away. She, while not a big player in the events that had transpired between her group and Sunhaven, was (and, deep down, always would be) loyal to Moon and knew of all the trouble they had caused him again and again. She certainly did not forgive but forgetting all that had happened to the lion before her was hard. Incredibly so. But a part of her wanted to see why they had come to her borders, wanted to see if they would apologize for their ghastly behavior and maybe even thank her for not retaliating as she wanted to so desperately. And that was why she now padded towards them, expression crafted entirely of ice. "I was informed that you wished to discuss things peacefully," The snow leopard said smoothly, evenly, "If that is truly the case, then entertain me." A smile, though a far cry from anything genuine curved her lips. She had been well and fully deprived of any true action since stepping up as Astral Seraph. Perhaps that would change now, with whatever this little ensemble before her wished to discuss. She wondered if she should have consulted Sybil before coming though, wondered if the oracle had any wisdom to bestow upon her, any fleeting glances at the future that could betray the purpose of the meeting. Oh well. Agathe had never relied upon the enhanced sight of others before, she didn't need to start now. (i literally just woke up i'm sorry if this post is garbage lmao) Re: UNRAVEL ME // SUNHAVEN AT BORDER - ATTICUS - 11-29-2018
------ Atticus followed up shortly behind Agathe as the NPC had come to fetch them, his paws carrying him neatly by her side as his gaze remained up and forward as they followed the trail of voices to where a small Sunhaven patrol now stood. He knew well enough at this point that Agathe was not one to easily forgive; the iron-clad women could hold a grudge that could scare any number of people, and while he did not assume that she couldn't handle this herself, for he knew that she very, very well could; well... He felt a tiny bit of obligation to tag along and ensure that neither side said anything stupid. If sunhaven was willing to talk, and hopefully about good things, then maybe this would be beneficial for the both of them. His mind settled on a few possibilities as they stopped in front of their border line, calmly sitting himself down as Agathe spoke to them. It was for that reason alone he did not take to make a greeting of his own, other than a small dip of his head for some sort of politeness before his gaze stuck upon them, his golden-eyes piercing as he listened quietly, waiting for them to speak. //sorry this is crappp I got ninjaed XD Re: UNRAVEL ME // SUNHAVEN AT BORDER - buckingham barnes - 11-29-2018
[ omg both of you are good & your posts are great no worries XD ] Shortly after the npc ran off to fetch Agathe, an unfamiliar face approached them. The maine coon looked over at the serval, ears pricking as Papercrown spoke up to him. Considering how Papercrown wasn't nearly as hostile as the npc, Bucky assumed Papercrown was a new member. When the fighting was still going on, Bucky assumed that Ascendants members grew a disliking for him- starting all the way back when Bastilleprisoner was still in charge. He wouldn't be surprised if people's ill opinions on him were influenced by the murder situation-- as that was handled rather badly. And then, when the fights occurred, that only added fuel to the fire. "I am Buckingham Barnes, Helion of Sunhaven," He said with a nod of his head, "I brought my two Goldenbloods to accompany me-- Gordon and Bex." His gaze was torn away from Papercrown, when Agathe made her way over. For a moment, before she spoke up, he wondered if she was going to turn them away. Bucky remembered how difficult it was to talk with Moonmade- it was like pulling teeth. Bucky could only hope it wouldn't be the same with Agathe. And when she spoke up, for a moment he felt relief in his chest. He didn't feel the same frustration in his chest to her like he did with Moonmade, she was open to the possibility of talking things out. "You heard that correctly," He confirmed with a swish of his tail, looking up towards the snow leopard. "As Sunhaven's new Helion, I apologize for our actions against you and your clan. We should've handled the murders after dropping you to neutrals with more maturity-- raiding only made the tension worse, and left no room to talk." He began with a flick of his tufted ear, not missing a beat as his gaze locked on Agathe. "Nor should I have taken Harland, I apologize for that as well," He continued on, "While it was never my intention to bring harm to him, it still wasn't right." Was it bad to admit his faults as a leader? He didn't want to appear weak, but he wanted to make it clear something like that would never happen again. "Onision told Marina and Ichigo that Snowbound reported the same kind of murders, and that a curfew was in place the second time it occured in Sunhaven. It's evident that the murders were never ordered by Moonmade, and thankfully we haven't had another murder since then." Bucky wondered if they ever discovered who'd been responsible for it. Considering it's stopped, either they were caught or the killer thankfully disappeared- he'd prefer the former. "I wish for us to try being neutrals again-- there's no point of us being enemies over miscommunications on both of our ends." He finished up, glancing over at Atticus momentarily, another unfamiliar face, before looking back at Agathe. He waited for her thoughts, hoping she'd be on board to drop the enemy status. Re: UNRAVEL ME // SUNHAVEN AT BORDER - agathe. - 11-29-2018 [align=center][div style="width: 500px; text-align: justify; font-family: Verdana; font-size: 12px; color;"]Agathe listened quietly, intently, a predator's stillness falling over her as she studied Bucky with a sharpened golden stare. So he and his two Goldenbloods had come to apologize to them? Enemies was a harsh title, but Agathe saw no immediate reason to grant them neutrality. In the rare moments she had gotten to spend with him, Moon had told her every detail about the feud between their two clans- whether to prepare her for what she might one day inherit or to simply blow off steam, she did not know. Regardless, she did not take kindly to these talks of peace, even if she could sense the relatively good intention behind them. She was Agathe Asyhver, Astral Seraph of the Ascendants, she could do whatever she wanted to with this apology: even spit it right back in his face. And it'd be all for Moon, for her friend who had left them too early, too quickly. In spite of everything, in spite of herself, Agathe just laughed. "While your apology does not go unrecognized," She began, that cold-blooded smile widening just a touch, "Wasn't it my clan that tried to insist that we didn't need to be enemies? Wasn't it my clan that tried to talk and negotiate before you all decided it would be a fun idea to raid us? From what I've heard of the situation, you attacked Bastilleprisoner on top of taking one of our children. Should I just forgive you? Should I just pretend that what happened in the past was some slip in morals? Some poor judgement? Should I pretend that I haven't been plotting a raid in retaliation for the hell you dragged everyone in the Ascendants through? For the injuries that had to go untreated because we don't have any goddamned healers, Buckingham?" Agathe paused only to remind herself to not get too heated, to remember where she was and who she was and what was at stake. "A miscommunication it was, but one that you all took too far. I'm not sure what you've heard about me, but I do not forgive and I certainly do not forget. The Ascendants is fine with or without you as neutrals," She paused, glancing at Atticus if only to remember to entertain all possible options, "But, because I'm suddenly feeling generous, I'll ask my clan what they want. Consider it a gift, or don't. I'm not quite sure if it'll play out in your favor yet. Expect an answer as soon as we can come to a conclusion. You're dismissed." She nodded at Kit at that thought, turning and motioning for him to follow. She did not doubt he probably would have something to say about this whole ordeal and admittedly, sought out his council. This was quite the morning, wasn't it? Who knew leading could be this invigorating? Re: UNRAVEL ME // SUNHAVEN AT BORDER - tikki - 11-29-2018 PAPERCROWN 15 MOONS — WEARS A BANDANNA — INSOMNIAC The speaking that had been done at the border was not something that Paper had been expecting. He had thought that after Bucky had spoken his apologies, there would be no more enemy title. Though that was just the thoughts of someone who had not been through all of the fighting, had not seen first hand nor heard of all the destruction that had happened. When Agathe decided it better for the clan to decide rather than herself then and there, he thought highly of the leader, and would watch as she started to pad away, turning back to the Sunhaveners that sat at the border, thinking for a moment as to whether or not he should speak once more, though there was nothing to say. He supposed he should watch out for a meeting soon with the words that his leader spoke, but how soon he was unsure of. © MADI
Re: UNRAVEL ME // SUNHAVEN AT BORDER - ATTICUS - 11-29-2018
------- Much like Kit had anticipated, the head-strong nature of Agathe Asyhver bore strong as she quickly retorted her stance to Sunhaven's offer. Atticus listened quietly as they spoke, his tail idly flicking as he considered in depth. So, this Buckingham was not only apologizing for the precious transgressions of his people, but he now also led them? Whereas Agatge saw this as a challenge, Kit found something rather admirable within it. His expression remained neutral as Agathe glanced to him, returning the slight glance for a,moment as she, beckoned him to follow her as she walkes away. So, that was it, was it? A potential to discuss politics with the rest of the Clan, when she herself had already made it very clear what she thought on the matter? Yet, he could respect it. It would need,to be a discussion, a descicion for all of them to make, not only conaidering the raids, murders, and attacka, but because a decision could not simply be given here and now. He paused for a moment as Agathe stepped off, drawing in a breath before he spoke, his tone calm as his deep voice rumbled. "Your words do not go unheeded, Buckingham. On behalf of the Ascendants, we appreciate your apology. Yet I would ask of you that you give us time to conaider the past events, and the logistics of your new leadership. While I personally would find curiosity in speaking to you of your new title, it is not a decision any of us can make lightly. While both of our peoples' are now full of possibilities with new leaders to guide us, I think it is safe to consider the past and the future for the both of us." He quietly rose, back to his pass, turning,to follow after Agathe's bidding. "I apologize for making the length of your journey end without a concrete answer. I am sure we will be in contact soon enough with our answer. Meanwhile, while I cannot invite you in, you are welcome to rest and discuss as well. " /mobile |
