[ the title says it all! your character's ages have swapped - adult turns into young and vice versa ]
"Say uncle!" "O-Ow!"
Pictured here was the feeble, small form of a young kitten, who couldn't be older than six months. He was pinned to the floor, his chin shoved into the dirt, his arm twisted in an awkward angle. Standing above him, with one paw holding him down and the other putting pressure onto the twisted arm, was an older-looking tuxedo tom kit. With deviousness gleaming in his olive hues, he pursed his lips and began to push even harder onto the poor kitten's arm. "You better say it or else you'll be sorry!" Threatened he, obviously determined to be the victor of this tussle.
Finally, desperately, the younger kitten cried, "Uncle! UNCLE!" With one swift movement, the tuxedo tom had stepped off of him, releasing him from the painful hold that had nearly twisted his arm out of its socket. While the young ginger kit scooted away, wincing and on the verge of tears, the victor gave a snort, "That was too easy." The local bully, Jersey, had just won yet another (rather unfair) round of wrestling. Hm, another victory to keep under his belt. He'd be the best apprentice in this place for sure.

▹▹▹▹ Even as a young cub, the jaguar that was a little Kit was bigger than most of the feline kittens around here, yet there was a seriousness about him, despite the bright, childish glint in his golden eyes, that seemed too old for his body. His ears swiveled at the sounds of a little kitten shrieking the word uncle, a frown pulling on his maw as his body stiffened. It wasn't... that far away, and where he had been sat reading his book, it was not only disturbing, it was unfathomably close. He chewed his lower lip, considering for a moment before he carefully shut his book and stepped around the corner to see Jersey, and the younger kitten that now looked like he was close to tears. "H-hey, you!" he spoke up before he could consider, straightening himself up slightly to add some height to his young frame. "Do you really think that makes you any stronger? You're just.. You're just weak for picking on someone like that! It's not a fair fight!" he snapped, even going so far as to put a step forward, a glint of determination in those golden eyes of his, even with the undoubted timidness of a young boy. Yet, what timidness had first graced his words seemed to fade as Kit dared another step forward. He was older than this one, though by how much he wasn't sure, but he was bigger, too. He wouldn't let someone be pushed around like that. "You're just a coward."

A sudden call for him had alerted the kit's attention, and his gaze swiveled to that of the jaguar cub. A frown tugged on his small maw at the apparent challenge, and he turned to face him fully. "What'd you just say to me?" He twitched a whisker and began to slowly make his way forward, as if in a threatening fashion. Was the jaguar cub bigger than him? Yeah, by a lot. This did not intimidate Jersey, however. He wasn't a full-grown jaguar, he was just a pipsqueak who he could tell was too scared to even make a move on him. He couldn't lay a [u]claw[/u] on him even if he wanted to. "Try saying that again. See what happens." Dared the tuxedo tom, his hues locking onto Atticus'. Was it ridiculous of him to pick a fight with a bigger opponent? Yes, obviously. Did he care? No, not really. Jersey would rather go down in an outmatched fight than to back off like some sheep that did what he was told. Plus, he had called him a coward. He wasn't going to get off the hook easily.

Silently, she descended upon them, behaving as if she was nothing more than a girl interested in the conflict. This little spectacle had managed to amuse her and, though she kept her expression the picture of detached apathy, the glimmer that danced wildly in both of her eyes was indication enough of her own desire to get involved and shove both of these idiots into the dirt. But she also didn’t wish to dirty her cloak, the snow leopard adolescent practically drowning in the crimson material as she took another step towards the males. She could bring them both down, she realized delightfully, flexing her claws. But she wouldn’t.
She was neither bully or hero, a mere extension of her own wants and desire, and these trivial divisions between the two males before her made her want to snort. That understanding and her refusal to alter her cloak in any way kept Agathe still, head shaking. ”You,” She began pointedly, squeak of a voice directed in Jersey’s direction, ”Are just going to humiliate yourself. And you,” Agathe’s golden stare - two, glowing embers that betrayed her amusement - fell upon Atticus, ”Probably aren’t as skilled as you act.” Little shoulders merely rose and fell nonchalantly as she sat back upon her haunches, investigating a claw idly. She quite liked telling these boys what they were and weren’t- it was the only way that she could get involved in this little mess. ”I’d feel sorry for myself if I was either of your mentors.”
Neither bully or hero, but Agathe was still wickedly mean. Being an entitled eight month old child did that to you, it seemed.

Ah, and yet another challenge arose. Well, perhaps less a challenge and more of a smartass comment. The tuxedo tom sneered and craned his cranium over in the cloaked snow leopard's direction. Oh, it was just her. Little Red. She was weird, he thought to himself. Who was she to butt into someone else's business? In response, the cocky tuxedo kitten huffed, "Are you kiddin'? He's the one that's gonna make a fool outta' himself." He had gestured in Attie's direction.
As for her little comment on mentors, Jersey snorted in response and twitched his white-tipped tail. She was wrong, and he knew it. He was always right, after all. "Speak for yourself. I'm gonna have warriors beggin' to be my mentor, just watch." He was gonna be the coolest and best apprentice in the entire clan; she'd see. Everyone would see, and they'd all regret their snarky comments and their doubts about him.
