semi-automatic mouth // false alarm - rainier - 11-23-2018 After finding a place to set her canteen down and nap until she had caught up on all her missed sleep and then some, Amparo was up, at ‘em, and oh so horribly, painfully bored that she just knew she had to go out and do something mad drastic or else she might just perish from the empty, tedious hole growing in her chest. Something like that, anyway. Amparo scampered through the undergrowth, keeping her small body down. The corpse of a mangled bird hung from her jaws, and both she and it were covered in blood. She set the drained body down, rubbing in it one last time and meticulously plucking the feathers out of her smeared fur before continuing with her...game? Security check? Security check, Amparo decided. I’m just testing their reaction time. And so it was with that that the black-footed cat shot her way into camp, kicking up sand in the Hall of Roses and releasing a wail like some sort of tormented spirit once she reached the ruins, sure to make a big show of bumping into things to smear the blood all over. “HHHHELP, HELP! SOMEBO-BODY, QUI-QUICK!” Amparo shrieked, wide-eyed, bushy-tailed, and horrified looking as she staggered to a shaking, hyperventilating halt. She whipped her head around helplessly and bit back the urge to laugh. She hadn’t had fun like this in a hot minute. “P-P-Please! It, i-it’s an emer-mer-mergency!” Re: semi-automatic mouth // false alarm - | THE VAGABOND | - 11-23-2018 Questions no one can answer -
(reply short due to limited wifi) [sub][W]isker[/sub]As soon as the other started screaming, a large throwing knife would launch itself directly at the female's face, aiming to knick the side of her cheek and impale itself into the ground with incredible speed. "Shut the fuck up already." Came a distorted growl from a beast a little bit of a distance away. A 6ft tall black canine was simply standing a good distance away as he looked at what looked like a domestic cat to him. He had no intention of helping the female as he had just been standing there when she started a racket. Vagabond's head was already pounding from the lack of sleep that he was getting, and of the factor that he hadn't had his coffee yet. The growl certainly didn't sound like a regular canine, thanks to his Hellhound origins. Origins that he didn't even know he had really. Vagabond didn't really consider himself to be part of the group considering that all he cared about was his crew and no one else. He still considered most of what was happening just inside of his head. He was currently the second largest creature that lived in Rosebloods, and definitely used that to his advantage. Vagabond wore a black metal mask that covered his face, taking the shape of a human skull that was distorted to be able to stretch across his now elongated muzzle. Vagabond wasn't going to care about if anything happened to the Rosebloods as he had his own business to take care of and make a profit in this world somehow. He didn't really expect the likes of animals to have currency, but he needed to at least do something so that he didn't blow his own head off. Vagabond just so happened to be talking near an NPC that he was talking to get a little bit more information about the place. His head was pounding, and when he was in the state that he was in, he wasn't against killing someone that pissed him off or made his headache worse. He had already attacked several faces that were in the Rosebloods anyway. His twin tails lashed as he turned to look away from the cat, and began talking to the NPC, who seemed to be a little shocked at the sudden attack. Re: semi-automatic mouth // false alarm - Jiyu Simul Stamus - 11-23-2018 The lithe calico was almost always quick to respond to the others in her group calling out for help, this time was no exception using her teleportation in burst to carry her quicker since she had been some distance away when she heard it. Her single green eye caught the sight of the knife heading towards the other female having been thrown by Vagabond for sure from everything she could see. Leaping into the air the calico triggered another one of her teleports jaws opening and snapping closed within the same second to clamp around the knife hilt before it could come into contact with its target animal. Colored paws planted on the ground tilting to weight to the side so her back half came down in such a way she skidded sideways a few seconds before stopping completely. Glancing between them, Jiyu tossed the knife safely to the ground a few feet away from her, large paws carrying her to stand in front of Vagabond with her stoic expression staring right at him. "Let me make this perfectly clear." her voice was monotone as normal, composure entirely surrounding her in spite of something boiling familiar deep within. "Groupmates, allies, kits." she had her limits even though at one time everyone had been fair game to her. "If you can't keep yourself from trying to harm or actually harming animals so clearly off limits there will be serious consequences. If I have to, I am not above beating someone in the group showing to be a danger to everyone else to within an inch of their life or even ending it in order to keep everyone else safe." she was loyal to the Rosebloods as a whole, only one animal in this entire group had her individual loyalty, Sola, since the Siamese had been around before her heart froze over again, her best friend until than. Luckily, unless Vaga attacked her there would be no fight right now since she was mimicking the calm 'one warning' style she had seen second in commands do in the past. Of course, that story would have been different if she knew he had already done this more than once but this was the first time she'd caught him. "Now then." the calico padded over to Amparo, sniffing, looking and listening to evaluate things completely. If something was attacking? Jiyu was not the sort of Vizer to wait for her group mate to have to tell her, that wasted precious seconds of response time that could save lives, if she could get the information from her senses first she did. Was that bird blood? "Amparo." Oh well, a simple prank still was no excuse for trying to harm another member of the group, multiple possibly or actually dangerous pranks perhaps but not this one. "I can smell its not your blood, what is your reason for this." the calico's ear tipped forward as she sat down, waiting for the younger feline to give her an explanation to why she had raised an alarm when no real emergency existed Re: semi-automatic mouth // false alarm - | THE VAGABOND | - 11-23-2018 Questions no one can answer -
(reply short due to limited wifi) [sub][W]isker[/sub]Before the throwing knife could land on the ground, it seemed to hover in the air when it was thrown by the domestic cat. It would then travel back toward Vagabond, and he would turn his head in the direction where he was being addressed. There was no expression seen thanks to his skull mask, and his vivid blue eyes seemed to narrow at the domestic cat. Did she really think that she would do anything against him? She was just a domestic cat and around the same size of his paw. Vagabond rolled his eyes at her words. "I don't know what any of those terms mean and I don't really care." Vagabond said through his mask, the mask muffling his voice slightly when he did talk. He then turned his body all the way to face the calico, and the knife that had been floating around him would float directly in front of the calico's face at her threats. Vagabond didn't give a shit about the Rosebloods. All he cared about was his crew, and if anything Jiyu was just another advertisement that he could make in the future. "Oh yeah kitty? What's keeping me from slitting your throat? You're barely the size of my paw so I'd consider the idea that I'd be able to put you in the ground far quicker than you'd ever be able to touch me." Vagabond threatened, and if the other tried to make any further conversation the unstable beast wouldn't think twice of attacking a domestic cat just because it managed to piss him off. He would even thrush the blade toward the tip of the calico's nose, whether the blade got close enough to draw blood depending on the calico's action. At this point, no one knew that Vagabond had killed plenty and attacked plenty of allies already. Not that he knew what any of that was because no one bothered to tell the former human. He wasn't completely cruel though, as he would never attack a child, but he didn't know the term for that around here was kits. It sounded close to kittens, but he was sleep deprived he didn't really care to notice the similarities. While he talked, three more throwing knives would float in the air, knives that he was capable at throwing up to 60mph if he chose to. But if Jiyu ignored him, Vagabond would ignore the domestic cat as well. Re: semi-automatic mouth // false alarm - sephiroth - 11-23-2018 SEPHIROTH MALE — ROSEBLOODS — PHARAOH — HOVER FOR TAGS
[div style="background-color: #292727; color: white; font-family: arial; font-size: 12px; letter-spacing: 1px; text-align: justify; overflow: auto; width: 500px; height: 340px; padding: 10px;"]A snarl came from Sephiroth this time around; it seemed the lion was having to exert his authority more and more nowadays, with the trouble the Typhoon had caused to dissent in his own ranks and group. The male was growing quite tired of this, coupled with his own exhaustion from lack of sleep which did nothing to help his mental state. He was volatile, angry, not to be pushed. And one also wouldn’t be able to push Jiyu about, who seemed to be the only Roseblood he could rely on at this point. The great silvery lion would approach with his lip curled, long canines bared at Vagabond as the hellhound threatened Jiyu and antagonized another Roseblood. His eyes, starting to glow softly shifted between the three. It didn’t matter the circumstances, he wouldn’t tolerate infighting. A rumble echoed in his gullet, and Sephiroth would glare at Vagabond with his intense aquamarine gaze as his voice came out deep and hard. ”What’s keeping you is the fact that she ranks above you, which makes action against her treason against the Rosebloods.” Sephiroth would growl, ears flat against the platinum waves of his mane as he spoke roughly. ”And if you so much as lay a paw on her, you shall be punished accordingly by myself.” There was no fear or joking in his tone, the Pharaoh was all business right now. Re: semi-automatic mouth // false alarm - rainier - 11-23-2018 Amparo froze where she was when she saw the knife coming, back arched and hackles bristling. Is this allowed? Is that allowed?? "Wa-Wa-Was th-, was that," She frowned, too perplexed, suddenly, to bother maintaining the act (it was starting to get uncomfortable being so sticky with bird gore, besides). She had known these guys were rough, that was why she came here in the first place, but that? That was..."Th-Th-That was, was ffffucked up! H-H-Hey, gi-give me that, that uh, th-that kn-knnnnife, I-I-I'll sho-, I'll show you whe-where you can, where you c-can st-t-tick it, yo-you hul-ulking p-p-piece of shit," She rattled off, standing on her toes to face Vagabond as if it would make any difference, make her look any bigger at all to a creature that could probably end her life with a well-aimed sneeze. Amparo wasn't in the business of making wise decisions. She looked at Jiyu when questioned and smiled impishly, little needle teeth still stained red. "Oh, d-d-don't worr-orry about it. I was uh, I-I was ju-just ch-checkin' some se-se-security stu-, uh, s-stuff out. Ju-Just runnin' a li-, um, little t-t-test. Yo-ouu...Y'failed. You l-lost. The fu-, the fucking ga-game." She plopped her little ass down and started grooming herself, getting around the ears with a few thorough scrubs. "Wh-Wh-Which is a, uhhh, sha-shame. I th-th-thoouught I-I picked somewhe-, so-somewhere compe-pe-pe, comp-, ugh" She pursed her lips, annoyed. "Good. S-Smart. B-B-But then, yo-you have this, this, this bozo he-here tak-tak-taking potshots for, f-for no good re-reason. D-D-Dumbass do-doesn't even kn-kn-know what, kn-know what wo-words mean." She set the most withering glare she could manage on Vagabond. She shifted when Sephiroth came onto the scene, taking mental note of the ensuing interaction while she busily cleaned herself off, paying close attention to get the sand out from between her toes. She was inclined to quietly support the defense of Jiyu, seeing as the calico had won maybe a solid hour of not being on Amparo's shitlist with the rest of every living creature solely because of her teleportation intervention, but she didn't voice any of that. She'd die before letting somebody know she appreciated something they'd done, and that was how it would always be. Re: semi-automatic mouth // false alarm - teef - 11-24-2018 --------------------------------------------------------------------------- BAI SHI " my own illusion come to be " --------------------------------------------------------------------------- bai shi quietly joined the scuffle, the fox looking up at the sound of cursing and other words being talked or shouted. they wandered over, head tipped to the side in curiosity. they watched passively, deciding to step into the current fray. they would utter a sigh, realizing that they should probably help calm tempers. appearing at vagabond's side, the fox looked to the duo antagonizing the hellhound. he almost felt pity, slight amusement in their core. this was humorous almost, not something that they would say, of course. the entire situation was like throwing shit in a bag and chucking it at someone else, telling them to deal with it. sitting down the fox groomed a paw, eyes on the feline, amparo, in the background. oh dear, here come the insults. oh well, they would settle for ignoring her and her less-than-tasteful name for them. tuning into the conversation they cleared their throat. "if you will. vagabond isnt from here, being this continent, or as familiar as the rest of us are with our words and terminology. its not a lack of ability per se, it's our own ignorance for not explaining it." they began, testing the metaphorical waters before jumping in. "also. he probably wasnt around a society like ours before. he could have been like one of the few that sometimes stop by, the un-allied travelers that know no home. he has been here longer than I, and I wont defend him throwing a knife at ... amparo, but I ask you take that into consideration before you punish him for talking back to a higher rank. we all have been busy, in regards to the aspects, and the recent raids going on around us." they spoke, gaze flicking to amparo once more. the other didn't seem much like a child, and if she was, they might be inclined to apologize for how they saw her. "we need to use moments like these to bring everyone closer in the group, wouldn't you think? if it's possible to prevent another of these accidents, why dont we take the incentive? amparo is also relatively new here, she could be curious about a few of the things that we do here, like this ... security test of hers. well, why dont we do drills with the rosebloods? a family that works together, stays together." Re: semi-automatic mouth // false alarm - rhosmari - 11-24-2018 [glow=#000,1,400]NOT CAUSE I'M BUSY, I JUST DON'T GIVE A FUCK — 。+゚.[/glow]
[div style="width: 480px; height: auto; text-align: justify; font-family: verdana; font-size: 9pt; line-height: 13px;"]"Let me make this perfectly clear." The male's voice was mocking at best, sneering at it's worst because this situation was dumber than he thought it was. They were making a big fuss over nothing in the eyes of the african wild dog and he didn't see a reason to get all huffy about it. Really, did they not know anything about how throwing knives work especially when it came to trajectory. The male moved forward with ease and his dual colored eyes were focused on them all though the woman that had threatened Vagabond with the so called warrant of death didn't have a good impression on him and if she even thought for a moment that she would be able to make a move against him she would most likely have the whole entire crew up her ass in an instant. Her downfall would be a rather nasty mistake on her part. Though the male was even more pissed off at the fact that he called it treason. "The knife wasn't even going to kill her. Geez, even I could see that. A fucking slice to the cheek ain't going to kill anyone so back the fuck off." He was disgruntle to say the least and he rolled his eyes as he turned to look at the newcomer whom had started all of these disagreements. Kudos to them because really who gave a shit about that. But he was more so inclined to believe that those that pulled rank were weaker than others. "To be honest, those with rank that talk shit better be able to keep it." What was the reason anyway for giving others power when they couldn't even hold up to the whole big talk of it all. He was exasperated and he lightly flicked his too long tail before he shrugged his shoulders and glanced over his shoulder at Vagabond. It was true all the things that the woman had said was meaningless to them and frankly he didn't care enough about whatever the hell they had going on to even try and figure it all out. It was pointless when the crew didn't give anyone moral high ground. They went after everyone and everything and that was how it worked. "Punish him for talking back to a higher rank. Oh, cry me a river. Did his words really hurt that bad? I'd see if he had actually made a damn move against her but she threatened him first and he's allowed to pass back the threat since it was against his own fucking life." Re: semi-automatic mouth // false alarm - GOLDENBOY. - 11-25-2018 [div style="borderwidth=0px; width: 55%; text-align: justify;"]➸ Describing this as a "shit show" was a bit of an understatement, wasn't it? Like Jiyu, Goldenboy had been instinctively drawn over by the cry for help - damsels in distress were a good way to gain favor. Lithe paws pressed silently atop compact sand, emerald eyes flicking curiously between the bickering creatures as he neared. He certainly recognized some faces present - his crewmates, obviously, as well as Sephiroth. The others were unfamiliar to him, a fault of his own for being scarce in the Rosebloods the past week. The desert was far too boring to occupy him all the time and he had outsourced his entertainment for the time being, but that would be a challenge for another time. Right now it seemed he was going to have to push himself into this conversation and convince them to not kick them out, because even though it was incredibly boring watching lizards skitter over the sands it was a relatively good group for the crew to stay with. At the very least they tolerated their reckless tactics (for now). So Vagabond had thrown a knife at this girl, who's name was Amparo. The girl was crying wolf, Goldenboy had made the rare appearance for nothing. It wasn't a situation he could be frustrated by, however, as Goldenboy had pulled similar stunts before with his crew - albeit, not after being thrust into an animal body in a strange world. It seemed others did not share his sense of humor, and instead tensions were quickly growing between Vagabond, Jiyu, and Sephiroth. And of course Rimmy was not going to make anything better. A fox at the beast's side (Who was that? Had they been there the whole time?) spoke soothing words but Goldenboy had his hesitations they would change much. Truthfully, Goldenboy sided with the Rosebloods to an extent - having knives thrown at you was bloody annoying. But when those actions translated as threats to his crewmembers, they had lost Goldenboy's favor immediately. Not that it really mattered, they hardly knew him and liked him even less he was sure. Spindly legs carried him alongside Rimmy, leaning his weight into the larger male in a silent request to be silent. Unspoken communication was, at one point, something the Golden Boy had relied on greatly - but now, even with more bodily assets such as a tail and ears, he had a harder time getting his thoughts across. "Why don't we all calm down," Goldenboy finally spoke, taking a step forward away from the side of Rimmy. His gaze flickered across Vagabond and Rimmy, narrowing minutely as he continued to soak in the situation. Sure, he might be able to talk the Rosebloods down, but his own crewmates he knew could have a mind of their own. "Threatening each other accomplishes nothing, hm?" Groupmates, allies, kits. Groupmates were kind of a no-brainer if they wanted to remain in the Rosebloods. Allies, well, as long as they weren't caught they couldn't exactly be stopped. Even Goldenboy was guilty of that one, but that was a secret that was never going to surface. Titan's "disappearance" just happened to be a subject he was curious about, that was all. As for kits - a kit was a fox cub, wasn't it? It had to be some sort of terminology for children. The crew would never intentionally harm a child, not that these others had any reason to believe that when otherwise they destroyed anything in their way. "Like the lad said, we aren't accustomed to these lands. These new rules, restrictions - laws." No, where they came from, they ignored all semblance of the law and did whatever they damn well pleased and there was nothing that could stop them. This land was much different than having a city at their feet to destroy and build up as they pleased. There wasn't much that Goldenboy feared here, even dragons scorching the lands with fire was less fearsome than the rattle of automatic guns and a bulletstorm chasing them down alleyways. Maybe it was just bullets in general that now made Goldenboy so fearful. God, this thoughts were straying. "Respect is earned, not deserved, and none of us here have earned such a thing with these actions." His gaze quickly flicked back toward Vagabond as he spoke, directing the message toward both the Rosebloods and his own crew. Their respect and fearsome reputation had died with them, and getting in a petty feud over it was only going to result in them getting kicked out - not them asserting their name as to not be trifled with. Despite certain opinions, respect wasn't something that could be earned with brute force alone. And if the Rosebloods wanted them gone, they wouldn't be able to fight that. They didn't have the force to fight back. "Fighting over it like mangy dogs for a scrap of meat is meaningless." Not that this all boiled down to respect, but it was an easy diversion at the least. Jiyu certainly hadn't earned their respect, and thus they were at no inclination to listen to her. Sepiroth's dry bites of punishment was another flex of unearned respect, just as was Rimmy's wry remarks about them being able to keep their words. What a dog's dinner this had become. Finally his forest green gaze met Sephiroth, having to incline his head up to meet the lion's gaze due to his own short stature. This was not his first time staring a prideful lion in the eyes (literally), and he doubted it would be the last so long as they stayed here. "If you wouldn't mind, I'd like to speak to you privately?" Pull him away from this situation, and disperse the argument by doing such. At least, that was the goal. Hopefully the crew would follow behind him and exit the stage, go busy themselves with other trivial things. Hopefully. Re: semi-automatic mouth // false alarm - Jiyu Simul Stamus - 11-25-2018 She was older then all of them and used to the impudence of animals far younger than herself, the calico really didn't care either way. However, the pharaoh was not helping, Jiyu had always been one to prove what she spoke of, she was dead serious about beating a good portion of the life from Vaga if he kept testing her. While not violent for no reason anymore in the way she had once been, the calico detested when someone couldn't hold their own when necessary and putting someone in their place was necessary. She'd worked this place long before they joined, sometimes given respects, other times not so much, but it never changed the devoted loyalty she held to the group. For now, stability was worth some discontent, there had been too much change as of recent and Sep being leader did provide a sort of stability even if he was always on an ego trip she never could agree with. "Sepiroth, don't pull my rank on someone, please." she didn't even like her own rank to be honest, but no one could tell that with how dead she always was. "This is not a matter of rank, even if action against high positions is treason." her tail lashed once as she came to stand between the lion and everyone else flicking her single ear. "Some animals just can't trust those who haven't proven themselves." trust was a feeling she didn't have, but when she had possessed a small fragment of her emotions she had been one of those sort, sooner willing to spar with someone to communicate before she spoke to them calmly. "It's alright for him to be one of them, and I'm alright with proving myself." even if she had no clue what she was doing, no one else knew that and she had always been the kind to go with actions strongly as she could! Sep wouldn't last long if he couldn't take a page from her book and actually admit being alright with the fact trust from new members would take time, that trust and respect was earned not freely given. She was earning it, by not sticking up for some other high position, coming to the defense of another member who had been attacked the same way she would even if someone attacked Vaga after this. Grudges were only for those with emotions which she lacked. "Amparo, if you really want to test something, find a stop watch. It's been years since someone timed how fast I can run the territory." she didn't really believe the kid but she didn't believe anyone, and she just wanted to get this moved on from, this was useless. Half covered gaze flickered to Bai Shi, blinking while she listened to him, the male was someone she would have to keep in mind, he may be a pushover but at least he seemed to have a good mind on him. "I would never punish someone for merely speaking back to me. Bai, can I trust you to make sure he learns the difference so that the group remains safe." Jiyu barely could tell the difference herself sometimes to be honest, when it came to allies she was hesitant, those turned into enemies so quickly especially with Sep around. Yet, she was loyal, always. Everyone was all in an uproar defending each other, but she didn't really care it was not that deep and there shouldn't have been sides to begin with. "I don't give a damn that he passed a threat back I never expected him not to." she'd never be able to take a member who would just accept the threat seriously after he had shown himself willing to attack Amp for nothing, him not passing back would be out of line in her eyes. Just so long as they didn't endanger the group she had very little care because she didn't feel anything to begin with. "I'm going hunting if anyone wants to come so Sepiroth and Goldenboy can go their way." because she was pretty much done with this, she had given the warning attacking other members of the group unprovoked was not alright. Although, she supposed that if someone didn't know she had no emotions it could be easy to mistake her actions for acting off rimmy and trying to defuse things as well, but she didn't care. |
