GIVE IT UP [joining] - Miluina - 11-19-2018 [div style="margin: 0 auto; border-width:0; width: 70%; text-align: justify; line-height: 1.5; font-family: arial; font-size: 9pt;"]Doublet wasn't sure if he should be around people so soon after his last accident. Isn't that why he had made the journey into the desert in the first place? All he'd wanted when he had set off was to get away from civilisation, to find some place he could hide away and stop that thing from hurting anyone else. The thought sent an instant pang to his chest, and he remembered too late that the demon could read all of his thoughts. Doublet sighed and mumbled a halfhearted apology beneath his breath. At least the entity seemed to be dormant for the time being, leaving him to control his own body as he pleased. Now longer were his paws stained with the telltale white of possession, or the red of the aftermath. They were just the same coffee brown that he had come to appreciate over the past few months. Perhaps Clickbait's sudden passiveness was luring him into a false sense of security, or maybe he had been unprepared for the loneliness that came with isolation, but either way it was hard to turn from the smell of other animals on the breeze. Doublet chewed nervously at his lower lip, turning his paws to face the source of the unfamiliar scents. He could see a rainforest below him, residing within the canyons that he was making his perilous trek across. Maybe this time Click would behave, and if they didn't, then at least it looked like a nice place to stop and grab something to eat. He wasn't built for the desert, after all, and any attempts at hunting had been fruitless. His stomach growled, pushing him past the last barriers that his mind had set up and forcing him down into the lush territory of the Rosebloods. What's the worst that could happen, he thought, and tried to ignore the swell of excitement he could feel coming from Clickbait's soul. "Hello?" Doublet called into the darkness of the rainforest, the fur along his spine prickling with unease. It was unfamiliar and... somewhat scary. He had never been in a place quite so packed with vegetation before. The smell of wildlife made his mouth water though, and he shook out his fur to fight off the humidity that was seeping in. If there were animals around, surely they couldn't be too hard to find. He set off into the underbrush, avoiding anything that looked too spidery or serpentine. The last thing he wanted was to be bitten by something dangerous, especially after coming this far. Who knew how long it'd take to get medical attention while in the middle of nowhere? Blue eyes swept over his surroundings as he proceeded to creep deeper into the territory, tensing at every rustle and flutter of wings. [div style="background-color: #292727; color: white; font-family: arial; font-size: 12px; letter-spacing: 1px; text-align: justify; overflow: auto; width: 500px; height: 340px; padding: 10px;"]A huffing grumble came from the shadows of the mysterious territory as Sephiroth emerged. Eyes were still tired but determined to keep going with business. He wasn't stable clearly, but still kept up a facade of godhood among his fellow Rosebloods. His gaze, glassy and otherworldly, settled on Doublet quietly, looking them up and down and once again before he spoke."Yes?" The silver lion rumbled, voice a murmur as he studied the newcomer. "Are you here on...business?" Sephiroth's mind wasn't exactly in the right or sane place at the moment, and the look of control he had was mostly a cover for the wreck his mind was at the moment. A blow to his pride, Mother's silence, he felt incredibly lost. But he had purpose, right? His group. His group needed him to work. Re: GIVE IT UP [joining] - Grimm - 11-19-2018 [align=center][div style="max-width: 420px; line-height:120%; font-family: arial; font-size: 8.5pt; text-align: justify; margin-bottom:5px"]Strange was it to place within the frame of time just had long he had been apart of this world – no, this was no world it was nothing more then fragments of memory filled in with the stretch of imagination which once had found want in such things, exploration sought in the time of youth, caught in the idle beat of a comatose mind. There was no easy way to explain the oddity of it all outside of such things, to put within reason the stark differences within each creature as they took the guides set by others before and smashed them into pieces. Possibly some part of him, buried within the depths of a mind that sought to accept the end, put within the burns slow to heal about his body the cause of this, wanted it to be true. Easier may it have been to swallow if only he accepted it, allowed it to become a new reality but difficult was such a process. Further was it muddled with the others, but three of the others in their crew brought forth, the rest left to ambiguous ends. Fibres of bandages clung to the dusty red of fur, heavy about the lean shape of the body, press of bone apparent beneath the skin. The canine was better suited to the land which clung to the edges of the canyon then he was for what lay within, heavy the humid air pressing against him, irritated the skin left exposed. Upon each exhale the faint sound of a growl arose between the press of teeth, low the head as he took a slow pace. The pull of muscle left within the thick patches were flame had touched heat, ache working until numb to it all had he grown. He had grown accustomed to pain, knew the heat of fire as it licked along his skin when things had turned sour, the ring of explosions and the shrapnel produced when he was caught too close. This was the same, nothing more then the ache of a job that had gone badly. Press of paws into the loose top soil slowed for brief moment, twitch of ears leaving on to flop down onto itself, the twist of lips one that may be deemed a smile though about its edges it proved hard, the glimmer of teeth enough to make it seem malicious within intent. Well known had his reputation been known, boiling the heat of anger within his stomach pushing him on, enjoying seeing the twist of anger and taking the first hit knowing well he may match it. There had been no care to his own personal health, apparent with the many instances he had dragged himself to the penthouse bloodied and bruised yet laughing, the sound of it echoing with joy. “The fuck are you wearing,” words rose between clenched teeth when Mogar drew closer to the pair, attention fixed upon the small feline. There was nothing of the lion that he wished to acknowledge, delusional his belief within Gods that brought nothing more then pain and destruction. Re: GIVE IT UP [joining] - Miluina - 11-19-2018 [div style="margin: 0 auto; border-width:0; width: 70%; text-align: justify; line-height: 1.5; font-family: arial; font-size: 9pt;"]It didn't take long for someone to find him. The grumble that Sephiroth emitted as he emerged made Doublet's limbs lock, and he lowered his body defensively as the lion drew near. Some of the tension seemed to fade when the Pharoh stopped, although the feline didn't relax entirely. Something seemed off about this one, and he took a small step back before rising to his normal height. "Business?" He echoed, confusion lacing his words. "No, I'm... is this a group? I was hoping I could stay for a bit, or something." He wasn't sure what sort of business he could have been on, especially in his worn out state. Doublet studied the larger feline's glazed over eyes. Something told him that perhaps this wasn't the best place for him if he wanted to live a normal and quiet life, but he had come too far to turn back now. He was tired and hungry, and dehydrated half to death. There was no way he'd be able to drag himself all the way back across the desert. The next person to appear didn't help his fears at all. Doublet watched cautiously as a bandaged canine appeared, his eyes lingering on the covered wounds before switching to the male's face. The dog spoke. Doublet frowned at the somewhat insulting words, but didn't dignify them with a response. The most the Mogar got was an embarrassed flush of the cheeks, and an adverting of his gaze. He wasn't unused to being poked fun at. He wore what he liked to wear, despite the ridicule that he often faced for it. He wasn't as flashy as Click, but then again, the demon could handle it when they were attacked for it. He focused his attention back on the first one to appear, trying to ignore the musical clink of the star around his neck. Re: GIVE IT UP [joining] - KLIMENT - 11-19-2018 With his muzzle lifted in the air, Kliment was already on the prowl for something to eat, he was large and he needed plenty of nourishment. The sound of voices in the distance made a soft hiss escape the hybrids slightly parted jaws, Kliment walked the first few steps letting the scales on his body brush past the trees. His blade-like tail would drag against some of the bark, eventually he caught the smells of some outsider and the so claimed leader of the place. His pseudo gaze locked onto the duo only to briefly analyze their skeletal structure to see if the joiner was anything big he could possibly eat but to his dismay it was just a small mammal. Though someone else joined this little duo, his rabbit-like ears would serve forward at this new sight yet their pseudo gaze locked onto the newcomer who didn't smell of this place "WHO ARE YOU." They asked standing a ways from Mogar and the white overgrown, pussy cat, his non-existent eyebrow lifted up hearing this strangers question only to snort. They weren't much of a clan. Just a ragtag group of mixed species, it was an odd society but he supposed he could live with it. "THIS RAGTAG GROUP IS CALLED THE ROSEBLOODS..." His tail lashed to the sides only to add with a loud snort "WE ARE KLIMENT." "I'M A BAD LIAR" —-- KLIMENT / ROSEBLOODS / MISC. [div style="width: 480px; height: auto; text-align: justify; font-family: verdana; font-size: 9pt; line-height: 13px;"]He was keeping to himself these days, trying to find his bearings and gather his thoughts. The male had been out of the loop when it came to what was going on with the Rosebloods and how they were working. Frankly he didn't much find himself caring about how they worked versus how this world worked. The Crew was searching for answers but most importantly they were falling back into old ways and old habits. Things didn't seem to be any different than what they used to be and the only difference was the fact that they were animals. And even so he didn't believe that any of this was actually real. He wholly believed right now at this very moment that he was in a hospital in a medically induced coma for the betterment of his own brain and healing. It could be the only explanation as far as he knew and yet he was continuously being challenged on these ideals. One such case was the fact that it seemed the crew was gathering here. Vagabond, Goldenboy, and yes even Mogar was here. The latter had just arrived here and he had heard about the occurrence even though he wasn't there he was curious about all of these circumstances.Regardless the male had seemed to come out of his hidey hole but only because he had heard voices nearby. Wings were splayed across his sides, and dragging across the ground. His eyes looked dead, almost like a feral animal and he could hear the sound of his own stomach gnawing at itself. There was a strange sense of nausea that leaked through him and he was sure that was because since he had been here the only thing to hit his stomach had been alcohol. Allowing his tongue to lick along his jaws he sat down near Mogar, eyes focused on the male before him as he gave a light sigh. His tail curled, abnormal appendage wrapping around his body as he pulled his ears forward. Really, he didn't have anything to say but he was curious of the individual that was here and a lesser extent he was partially put off by the thing that was here too. "Sup. Rosebloods is kind of chill." Re: GIVE IT UP [joining] - | THE VAGABOND | - 11-20-2018 [align=center] Questions no one can answer -
He was exhausted. That much was obvious at this point with just the way that he tried to hold himself. When he was a human, he would have easily been able to hide how tired he was with his body language, but having the body of an animal was something completely different. He wasn't used to letting his body show how he was feeling and it was almost to the point of being embarrassing now. Either way, he hadn't slept for the past couple of days, but he also wasn't starving either. He had managed to figure out what some of his capabilities were in this world, and there were several other instances where he was able to attack those that he came across from other groups. At least, he believed that it was from other groups but he wasn't quite sure. No one had told him what he could and couldn't do, and the male was just glad that the crew was coming back together. Albeit slowly, it was better than him being alone in this world. It was because he had his family that he wasn't completely going insane testing whether or not this world was real to him and not just an illusion. There were several factors that pointed to all of this being real, as he would think that if someone got really hurt in a dream and could really feel the pain they usually woke up. Also, he was pretty sure that he didn't have that much of a creative mind to come up with some of the ridiculous stuff that he has seen so far. Right now, he was usually minding his own business, trying to keep the rest of his crew alive and without completely tearing at each other throats. He wasn't sure what there was really to gain in a world like this with the business that they usually ran, but he was trying. [sub][W]isker[/sub]The Hellhound wasn't really the type to introduce himself to anyone, and he could easily be considered intimidating just taking one look at him. The 6ft tall hellhound was the second largest animal that existed in the Rosebloods, second only to Kliment. He had the regular body structure of that of a wolf, but he was mutated in a couple of ways. There were black scales that ran along his back acting like armor, and he had two tails that moved independently from one another. Vagabond also wore a human skull mask that was on his face, one that had been fitted to his face when he had arrived in this world, which didn't really matter to him. The large hellbeast was walking around when he heard voices, relying on his hearing rather than his sense of smell because his mask basically prevented him from acquiring any scents in the area. He could still breath with the black mask on his face, but it wasn't enough to actually be able to smell anything significant. Vagabond was still getting the hang of the body he had right now and there were a couple of tricks that he had yet to learn. Vagabond had arrived to listen to most of the conversations that were going on, looking toward the white lion, not knowing the other's name, but he believed the lion to be clinically insane when he talked about gods and everything. His vivid blue eyes turned to look at Kliment, a scowl spreading across his facial features but was hidden behind the mask that he wore. He stayed clear of the larger beast, but it wasn't out of fear, but out of annoyance that it wasn't something that he wanted to deal with right now. When he stopped, the Hellhound seemed to sway slightly, dizziness taking over his vision for only a couple of seconds. His attention turned toward Mogar first with the way that the canine talked to the kid, at least, the cat looked like a young cat in his eyes. He couldn't fucking tell. "Hey give them a little bit of a break." Vagabond would say gruffly toward the smaller canine, but there was a high chance that the other wouldn't even listen to what he had to say. The other seemed to be looking to want to stay in a place like this. He wasn't sure how much of a good idea that would turn out to be at the end of the day. His attention would turn toward Rimmy though, and the calm attitude seemed to disappear completely. He knew what Rimmy was doing, having kept track of the canine since they had arrived in a place like this. He was drinking himself and would probably kill himself if something wasn't done. Vagabond was able to conjure up a burger and push it in Rimmy's direction. "Eat this before I shove it down your throat." The Hellhound would basically command with a growl. Whether the guy wanted to or not, he needed something to eat, even if it was just a couple of bites. He had told everyone that he could create food that they could eat, and Rimmy hadn't been the one to come to him. He couldn't figure out how to make the other's favorite food yet, but he could damn well try later on. Then finally, he began to talk to the domestic cat instead of addressing his crew. The mood change seemed to happen again, but there was hesitation this time as his eyes tried to focus on the other's form, as it grew blurry for a moment. This is what he got for not sleeping for a week. "Hey kid. I'm Vagabond. Pretty sure that you're welcome to stay or whatever. Ya hungry?" Vagabond questioned the feline calmly when he spoke. Which could be considered interesting for the likes of the gang member that was ruthless with everyone that he met. Eddie could relate. Eddie could relate really well. He'd only been stick with another thing in his consciousness for a little over a month. Venom hadn't ever gone dormant, unlike Clickbait, but Eddie had him .. dubiously under control nonetheless. Venom didn't have to listen to Eddie, could just take over if they so wanted, but seemed strangely content to just watch the world go by from Eddie's perspective, generally just making snarky remarks despite Eddie's scoldings. .. Eddie regards Doublet somewhat strangely as he arrives. it's strange for people to wear collars, or whatever variously colored objects Doublet was wearing. But it wasn't .. bad, per se. Just somewhat jarring at first. Eddie almost shakes his head to dispel his thoughts, but thinks better of it. There's a lot of people, here -- a lot more than Eddie was used to. The Rosebloods had grown a lot in the few weeks he'd been here, but even then it was strange to see them all together. Eddie tilts his head. "Yeah, you're welcome to stay," He confirms after Vagabond with a nod. He's familiar enough with the joining process by now to confirm. This being said, Eddie settles himself deliberately far from the rest of the group. They're all pretty awful, to be honest. God knows why Eddie is still here. .. Doublet seems pretty decent, though. "A name would be nice. I'm Eddie," Kliment had already asked who they were, but it doesn't hurt to push. Pushing usually got answers, in Eddie's experience. |
