After They studied Their chosen topic—with the guidance and encouragement from Kaisa—and took Their last looks on Their note and hid it away, They settles by with a couple of herbs beside Them, naming a few: marigold, cobwebs, and horsetail.

Do not be afraid, is what They had been telling Themself since They decided They was ready to host a lesson for Their crewmates. Their new family. Celestial mind burns for answers. Will Their new family laugh at Their mistakes? Will Their new family sneer at Their nervousness?

Will Their new family no longer be the family for Them after this?

They fiddles with the sands, motions small and quick, as the way They takes Their breath; small and quick. Quick and small. They feels so small now. Too small. The world begins to tremble beneath Their paws. It's cackling at Them, and They haven't even started Their lesson yet.

Do not be afraid.

They breathes deeply and closes Their eyes. Darkness appears over vision and kisses Them good luck. Gentle. Encouragement. How it brings Them to hope. Hope that They will do excellent at what They will do for Their new family and Themself. Hope that everything will be okay.

Do not be afraid.

(  * New objective: Start the lesson on what you studied about to your crewmates!  )

"Um, hai!," They starts with a call, head raises as mismatched eyes reveals with determination shimmering across, "Come! Liah tih! Come fouh no moewah ouchies!" At that, They makes a hiss to emphasis Their words before ending Their sentence with a, "No moewah cah and innnfehashtionnss!

They lets Their words hang in the air before They smiles at Themself, giggling afterward with a forepaw pressing against curled lips.

Yeah... Yeah, everything will be okay!

[div style="margin: 0 auto; border-width:0; width: 70%; text-align: justify; font-family: arial; line-height: 1.5; font-size: 9pt;"]Blue eyes brighten, softly glowing from within the overarching penumbra of houses as Elijah emerges. His feathery wings are tucked to both sides, fluffy tail left to hang comfortable as his rat rides his head, tiny hands clutching to his ear. He recognises the squeak of the child, his mysterious friend who brings him universes of wonder. Mismatched eyes, ebony fur, tiny frame - he is more than happy to listen to their lesson, regardless of their mispronounced words or lack of name. He doesn't mind because he knows that they are genuine, filled with a gentleness like no other. The sweet smell of flowers touch his nose. They remind him of the temple his mama worked out, the strong odours that he became familiar with during his youth when they played stupidly and tired themselves out. The scent of mama's work, the delicate preparation of plants and concoctions.  Elijah's eyes wander curiously to his friend, a soft smile plastered across his brown features, stripes curling around his cheeks. So far they look like they are doing well. He doesn't sense the other's fear at all, being awful at noticing emotions. Then again, it is a good thing he doesn't realise that his friend feels nervous. He might accidentally throw them off their game.

The young feline takes a seat, the first one there as he wriggles around to let himself feel comfortable. He's mildly upset with the turnout, looking about but refusing to show his disappointment. Hopefully more will show up or at least an official, the child being suddenly joined with two more rats who scurry to sit next to him. He hadn't summoned them but they had a tendency to follow him. It was likely Thirteen reading his emotions again, signalling to the other rats that Elijah wanted to give his friend as much love and support as possible.
