AND WE ALL STILL DIE // EVACUATION TO THE MOUNTAINS - buckingham barnes - 11-15-2018

Getting through that flash flood had been a living hell. For some members, it was easier for them to battle the currents with their size. Though, others- including Buckingham- were not as lucky. Bucky can still vividly hear Gordon's cry out to him when he began to battle the currents. Bucky wasn't the one who grabbed her, rather it being Crypticwhisper. It was better that Crypticwhisper reached her instead of him- as the former assassin barely kept his own head over the water. So, when they reached the base of the mountain all in one piece, relief ran through his veins.

Water dripping paws stepped onto solid land, the maine coon not sporting his regular fluffy appearance. With his fur soaking wet, the Warden looked far smaller. Bucky looked over his shoulder, watching his clanmates make their way onto the ground. He was counting heads, making sure that they weren't leaving anyone behind. Traveling up the mountain generally isn't a difficult task, but after treading through water- it isn't as easy. Bucky felt sore, and certainly wasn't looking forward to climbing up a mountain. He was sure he wasn't the only one who felt sore, but there wasn't time to lay down and take a nap. Especially not so close to the flood, they have to get to higher ground.

"Everyone listen up! While we've reached the base of the mountain, we're too close to the flooding. We have to travel up the mountain! Larger members- carry anyone who can't climb on your backs, children should be picked up as well!" He glanced over at Marina momentarily, his tail lashing behind him. He can only hope there will be room at the top of the mountain for a makeshift camp.

" i dont dare let darkness have it's way with me "

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

finnloch had made it to the ground not long after the rest had huddled at the foot of the mountain. the smaller femme had just followed the others out of instinct, sogged down and coughing up water before she lifted her head, hearing bucky's words. the children? she didn't know how useful she would be, but she would do her best to carry the smallest of them all.

(sorry its short, busy)

SUNHAVEN — GOLDENBLOOD — FEMALE — BORDER COLLIE — PLAYED BY KICKSIE

[div style="text-align: justify; width: 50%; font-family: georgia; font-size: 11pt; letter-spacing: -1px; margin-top: -15px;"]Escaping the flood could've been easy for Bex, if she had not dived in to help rescue Mangle. Luckily she managed to get the two of them out of the waters safely, but she was exhausted. And dragging along a satchel full of her belongings only made the trip that much harder, and yet, they hadn't even started climbing up the mountain yet. The collie followed the group, remaining close to her clanmates as she walked, leaving wet prints behind in her tracks. She wanted nothing more than to lay down and restore her energy by stuffing herself with pizza, but she knew that would have to wait until they were safely up the mountain.

The hard part was just about to begin, and Bex had to hold back a groan as she stared up with her ears pricked, listening to Bucky's instructions. She knew that she was larger than many of her clanmates around, certainly not the largest but not small either. Still, she didn't want to carry too much weight, with how tired she was due to how much energy she had to use while escaping the flood. She wouldn't mind carrying someone small, though. The collie nodded in understanding, looking around for anyone who she could possibly help.

Re: AND WE ALL STILL DIE // EVACUATION TO THE MOUNTAINS - GORDON CIPHER. - 11-18-2018

If Gordon had known Buckingham was going under himself, she wouldn't have called out to him. However, he and Marina were one of the very few she was really close with and Marina was working on trying to calm the flood. Luckily Crypticwhisper was there to save her, although she hadn't realized it had been him until she came back into consciousness. The small Goldenblood was still shaken after her nearly drowning and shakily made her way towards BEX, trying to press herself against the collie. She was far too small to help anybody out and honestly, she would rather have some sort of partner. Gordon's body shook as she listened to Bucky's announcement, trying to fluff out her fur to get warm.

Re: AND WE ALL STILL DIE // EVACUATION TO THE MOUNTAINS - GARRETT - 11-19-2018

[align=center][div style="max-width: 500px; text-align: justify; font-family: arial; font-size: 9.5pt; line-height: 1.4;letter-spacing:.1px"]Since joining here a while ago, Garrett had fallen back on his old habit of vanishing into the crowd. As the days grew longer, the young canine's mood grew more and more somber — he didn't want to bother the people here, and even throughout the flooding, he had mostly held his own. He may be a child, but already his size is beginning to show. Long, thick fur is soaked through and clings to shoulders that feel almost awkwardly large for his body. Grayish green eyes are wide with a subtle fear, and for a moment he wishes that he would have stayed in The Typhoon. If nothing else, he wouldn't have had to deal with this. Funnily enough, he worries more after the contents of his satchel than himself. But fear is a contagious sort of thing, and as people pair up and help each other on their trek, he finds himself searching for someone to walk with too. Nobody would really know him, and he's too nervous to try, but the dog still watches for someone that could need his help.

They had a long walk ahead of them, after all.

CRYPTICWHISPER is an Angeli Divine, in the form of a 5ft Angeleon - he is of the exceedingly rare 'black Ichor' caste of which only a theorised handful exist [mine].
Currently he resides in Sunhaven as a hearthkeeper. Is considered 'fallen' by his brethren for his renegade status. Aura and abilities are black-purple as is signature to black Ichor caste. Wears silver-black 'black star' armour & wields the Eclipse Sword.

Cryptic, large as he was brought up the rear - mostly because he could escape the flooding if need be and from here he could easily catch anyone falling behind before they were unfortunate enough to be swept up.

still this climb would be arduous for them no doubt - but he kept his silent diligence, unnatural eyes glancing across who was there amidst them - glad to see Gordon was doing better, not unconscious or lost in the waves at least - before he pushed his senses outwards, looking for other auras nearby joining them.
