90 YEARS (p, kaida) - MirrorEdge - 11-14-2018 [align=center][div style="width: 45%; text-align: justify; font-size: 12pt; letter-spacing: -1px; font-family: times new roman;"]♡ — It was hard to get her paws on grilled food now, and so when she had found one of the few remaining vendors selling meat, in the temporary shelter in the mountains, she took the chance, and found herself with a large bag of chicken wings and turkey legs, carefully balanced between two outstretched wings, and one of the legs in her mouth, ripping chunks of meat off the bone and hurrying along the narrow path on the mountainside to the tempory shelter provided at camp, the mud making it difficult for the young feline to walk, sinking deeper and deeper with each step she took, not even realizing it as she was too focused on keeping her precious food balanced. Why was food even more important to her than her surroundings in this situation? It was something she was often asked after taking risks to ensure she could eat, something that had gotten her in much trouble when she was younger. Nora, why did you pick a fight with them? They worked for the food, and didn't want to share. Eat a bit less, please, Nora. There's only so much we have. You eat so much, Nora. Maybe you should start watching your weight. Here, it was the opposite. Most days, Nora could feel uncomfortably full, a foreign feeling to her, one that she loved. Sunhaven was truly a safe place for her. Nora snapped out of her train of thoughts when she lifted a paw, only to realize that it wouldn't come out, the mud trapping the young tortie's little legs, and made them unnaturally heavy, to the point where she couldn't move much at all, not without sinking deeper. "Hello? Hey, I need help, please!" |
