the news of her father's exile didn't really bother aphra. in fact, she was quite glad to hear that caesar was gone and took it upon herself to go searching through the former officer's room for things he left behind. ears pricked, aphra entered her father's old room and searched around, her gaze coming upon a black crown on a nightstand. unbeknownst to her, this was the crown that goldenluxury had given caesar before she lost her memories.
with a smile, aphra grabbed the crown and began to prance her way out of the ship, her head held high. clearly, the oriental longhair was proud of the crown she 'found'.

the news of caesar's outbreak was no surprise to aphra, if she was honest. her father had always been hot-headed and thought of himself more than he thought of his crewmates. aphra was the same in regards to not caring about others, though she tried to keep a calm demeanor over things. as goldenluxury approached her, the white oriental looked down at her and tilted her head. "not even a 'hello', huh?" she mused, though didn't entirely seem bothered by that fact.
"it was my father's." aphra shrugged as she answered the quartermaster's question. "no idea where caesar got it, but he left it here so it's mine now." a crown fit for a queen, no?

if aphra could read goldenluxury's thoughts, she would disagree with the bengal's opinion of caesar. while caesar was a horrible father, aphra didn't believe he was a terrible person. he was hot-headed, sure, and often reacted before he thought, but that was to be expected. after all, he controlled the element of fire; it is only natural that he is somewhat like it, no?
