the glow of your low beams // wt + charisma class - radeken - 11-09-2018 Was she charismatic? Not.................normally, no, but that didn't mean Radeken didn't know precisely how she was refusing to act. It was one of those 'know the rules before you break them' things. What ultimately made her shitty behavior all the more grating was that she knew exactly how not to behave that way. This wasn't a matter of not knowing any better, this was a matter of not caring enough about those around her to bother acting right. However, seeing as this was her assigned task (and thankfully not the joked-about poetry slam, which still made her choke on her spit in horror when she thought about it), she supposed it was high time she took it upon herself to teach those of the Ascendants who were awful because they knew no other way to be, how to be people, if they so chose. "[color=black]Excuse me!" She had a set up a little nook in the grand circle, all her good pillows and blankies dragged out, a pot of something warm and herbal steaming invitingly amidst it all with cups assembled neatly around the base. "[color=black]Are you tired of chasing people off with your less-than-savory personality? Bored of things not going your way because you never learned how to read a room?" She had a very 'used car saleswoman' kind of vibe about her right now. "[color=black]Do you wanna deal the cards? Put on the show you've always meant to? Lie without stuttering? Lead 'em by the nose with naught but your honeyed words" Radeken licked her lips to stifle a laugh. She cracked herself up. "[color=black]I'm sure not everybody here is beyond help, and I am just dying to help." There were worse ways to spend the evening. Re: the glow of your low beams // wt + charisma class - Vincent C. - 11-11-2018 [align=center][div style="width: 540px; text-align: justify; font-family: arial; font-size: 10pt; line-height: 1.4;"] "Charismatic" was not a word Vincent was well acquainted with. Where Radeken mentioned not stuttering while, lying, he was still working on not stuttering when he was talking to more than one person. While he didn't think he chased people away with his ineptitude in speech, he didn't think it really helped him in any shape or form. So when the wolf mentioned a "charisma class" the young cheetah was... curious if anything. So he sauntered over with a subdued look of doubt before taking a seat a little ways away, not bothering to take a cup of the fragrant smelling liquid. While he was somewhat interested in this, he didn't really want to draw too much attention to himself. Which to be honest seemed kinda counterproductive, but oh well. He gave the large canine a small nod in greeting, hoping he wouldn't get called on for anything. While sure, talking was kinda the point of this lesson, he always found himself more of a listener than a participator. The last thing he needed was to be brought to the center of attention. Yes, he was quite hopeless. |
