ANOTHER BRICK IN THE WALL / open - FELIKS - 11-08-2018

[align=center][div style="text-align: justify; width: 60%; font-family: georgial; font-size: 11pt;"]Though curiosity may have been more associated with cats as opposed to birds (having a lion's backside didn't change his resolve that he wasn't a feline), it would surely be a thing that would kill him one day regardless. Talks of the Rosebloods had been brief in the meeting, overshadowed by the outcry of a frustrated high position, but when things had settled down the male realised that he didn't have a clue who these creatures were and why they were 'selfish bitches'. Never the type to take what somebody said to heart before figuring the truth out for himself, the newly instated privateer had made it his personal goal to figure out what was up with the forgotten ally, and figure out why he didn't know anything about them. Being naive was a tragic disaster, one he'd much rather avoid before it cost him his morals and honour.

It'd been quite some time before he'd been able to find the folk who claimed to have thorns in their bloodstream (that must've been painful, and it'd explain their misery when greeting him, he was sure), but eventually their rainforest came into vision. When hearing that yet another group lived in a jungle, Feliks had been about ready to give up and assume that what the Captain said was true, but he'd held out... just about. He sat as close to the borders as he possibly could, scarred leg splayed out as to provide a bit more comfort when the air was becoming more bitter with the threats of winter. So far, all seemed quiet, perhaps a symbol of the group's seemingly recluse nature (he was yet to learn any different), the gryphon figured he'd have to cry out to get some attention from the potentially scheming group.

Should they respond with violence, he'd do so in kind, for now though he just wanted an explanation. As much as he got along with Pincher, there was no defending the Captain on his piss poor explanation. No one was going to be safe from his brutal honesty towards authority, not even friends. "I'm just here to chat before any of you throw your purses at me," Feliks called hoarsely, hoping the vexing comment would bring some folk out of their hiding spots. No one liked to be taunted after all, even if it wasn't the best way to claim parley, surely it would bring creatures running.

Re: ANOTHER BRICK IN THE WALL / open - BUGSY - 11-08-2018

Seeing as Bugsy was painfully new to this place, he wouldn't know jack-shit about their bloodstained reputation. Hell, he had only heard of one clan, the Ascendants, and he had ditched those guys in a week or so. These places were pretty strange, but they were fun to mess with as well as o b s e r v e.

So, in turn, he wouldn't know about the Rosebloods nor about its allies or enemies or any of that shit. Obliviously and blindly optimistic, Bugsy turned up at the overgrown border, cocking his head towards the... creature. Just what the hell was he? Whatever, he didn't care. The dog opened his jaws, "'Kay." He was just to chat, huh? Seemed easy enough. "So, whaddya' wanna talk about?"

Eddie himself was fairly now but, being a nosy bastard, was fairly caught up on the Rosebloods' affairs even when he wasn't present for the incident in question. Granted, he knew .. a lot less than he would have, had he been there. So, he didn't really know why the alliance was dropped. He was a little curious, but otherwise was just sort of .. apathetic. He'd have to deal with that at some point.
"You're from the Typhoon?" Drawn by the several calls, Eddie's interest is piqued. The raccoon's tail swishes as he regards the griffon. He's not too concerned -- maybe he should be, but he's not. It's probably just this on. A surprise attack doesn't sound like a good first attack. ".. What're they like?" Eddie likes to ask his own questions, first. He hasn't heard much about the Typhoon, probably because he'd focused his research more on he Rosebloods than any other group. He was a writer, technically a reporter but he'd kind of lost that job. He could probably push for more questions and answers, but that's unfortunately not suited for what appears to be a semi-casual visit. So Eddie settles and stares intently at the griffon, only half-heartedly wondering what the other wanted with them.

SEPHIROTH
MALE — ROSEBLOODS — PHARAOH — HOVER FOR TAGS
[div style="background-color: #292727; color: white; font-family: arial; font-size: 12px; letter-spacing: 1px; text-align: justify; overflow: auto; width: 500px; height: 340px; padding: 10px;"]Laughter.  There was actually laughter from the bushes as Sephiroth slunk from the shade, his shoulders and sides shaking as he approached.  His attention was hardly on Bugsy and Eddie, he had eyes only for the Typhooner that had come to their border.  The lion would swipe his tongue over his jaws in a both thoughtful and intimidating manner.  His eyes gleamed, a hellish glow growing around his slit pupils as he stared at Feliks.  A closed mouth grinned spread on his jaws, an amused look on his face.

"That was fast."  Sephiroth practically purred, sweet and sharp at the same time.  "Did Pincher send you crawling back asking for forgiveness, here to beg for help with your petty problems?  He can't have it.  I am not a forgiving creature."  He was cruel, unforgiving, a serious animal without mercy.  But even though Feliks was not here on business, Sephiroth still found it highly amusing that a now enemy was coming her for conversation so soon after the bond was broken.  "Are you sure your Captain didn't follow you here?"  He spoke Pincher's title like it was a joke, like poison in his mouth.  He cared little for the Typhoon now, and spoke of them like a curse.

Re: ANOTHER BRICK IN THE WALL / open - FELIKS - 11-09-2018

[align=center][div style="text-align: justify; width: 60%; font-family: georgial; font-size: 11pt;"]As predicted, company was fast to approach and even faster to question him. For a while, there seemed to be very little in terms of aggression from the Rosebloods, suggesting that they either weren't too sure of the situation or just didn't care to be apart of it. Though his gaze was kept high and mighty as Bugsy approached, the gryphon did dip his head in greetings, surprisingly grateful for the lack of conflict. Age had weakened his passion, that was for certain. "Political matters. Mainly concerning our fresh new status as enemies, though you seem to be as out of the loop as I am,". More questioning came from a raccoon, a creature rarely seen in groups, his gaze flickering over.

Typhoon... what were they like behind the bravado of freedom and piracy? He stayed long enough to be friendly with several of the creatures, but still had yet to form any meaningful relationships with any of them. A terrible crime for a 'Privateer' to not know the animals he was supposed to be policing, but there'd been too few creatures wanting a chat. "It's made up of a bunch ragtag misfits, but they make it work. There's more personalities there than I have feathers,  so it's enjoyable at least,". Feliks was hardly secretive about where his loyalties lay, promotions hadn't swayed him in the slightest, but there was no where else to go. The goody two-shoes groups were few and far between, and the grey groups had morals which he couldn't align with.

All thoughts were broken up by a string of cold laughter. Lest the bushes had a voice, it wasn't surprising when someone popped out of the shrubbery. Matched with someone of a taller stature, the gryphon lifted his head upwards, craning his neck and puffing out his chest out of habit to make himself appear larger. Once he would've been smirking at the other, telling him what's what, but he didn't have the energy for that. Instead he listened on, talons tapping against the ground. "I suppose you're done speaking now?" he drawled, starting to figure out why Pincher may have had enough with the Rosebloods. Pretentious moggy. It was enough to make his stomach churn, though that may've just been the adrenaline.

"I'm not here to lick the paws of some delusional pussycat, nor would I beg for help when you clearly need assistance more than me. I simply came to see what had caused the breakup of clan relations at my own discretion, no one else is involved. If Pincher followed me then so be it, I'll happily get an explanation from him too,". His voice had been raised an octave now out of frustration, emerald eyes narrowing.

"Pincher simply did not like the fact that one of his own came to help us on her own accord."  Sephiroth purred, referring to when Goldenluxury had so graciously given them herbs and medical notes and Pincher had arrived in a rage, spat metaphorically and literally at the Pharaoh, and broke of their already strained alliance.  "He acted like a petulant child about the whole thing and decided that we were not worth his time.  Simple as that.  Apparently he takes things far too personally."  Before the incident Sephiroth hadn't had much interaction with the Typhoon Captain, and this incident made him rather glad he severed the alliance rather quickly.  He did not wish to endorse behavior like that.

Re: ANOTHER BRICK IN THE WALL / open - Jiyu Simul Stamus - 11-11-2018

She was slowly losing track of herself as she tried to fill the paw steps he had placed her into, slipping as she tried to utilize the capabilities of everyone she'd ever known in her rank before. Mimicking the behavior of others was something she could do, after-all she'd needed to do so in order to complete the tasks father had required of her, but not only did it end up she was out of practice, she had too many resources and no clear idea of the sort of thing she needed to create. Yet, she still held the idea that Sep was not stable and was developing to see he maybe had too much pride in himself to truly be effective on his own. Yet, she was not in much better position, she didn't know how to be anything besides what she had been raised as, leading even in a secondary position like this, wasn't part of her rearing she had no clue here.

Silence surrounded her, no words coming as she simply stood next to Sep, trying to see how things went, it wasn't like she could actually do anything.
