Onision wasn't one to grieve openly, he rather preferred to wallow in his self-hatred over not being able to save people like the asshole he was, but really- what the actual fuck was he doing? Lanterns sat on the ground in front of him as he waited for people to join him. So many people had died in the Ascendants, it only felt justified that he held a memorial for them all- to call out their names one last time, to appreciate them. He hadn't attended Moon's funeral, and his mothers.. They were.. They didn't have.. No- stop thinking about it.

"Everyone, I'm hosting a memorial for those who have fallen. Whether it be allies, loved ones, or members of the Ascendants, come and pay your respects as we call their names one last time. They deserve it." Onision barked out, a solemn look on his face as he held out the box of matches to light the lanterns wick so they'd float into the air the moment the person's names were called.

As he began to call out the names of fallen clan members, Onision could feel his throat tighten just a bit, watching the first lantern rise up into the night sky, a beautiful ambiance of color that Oni just couldn't help but admire. "Anakin, Margaery, Suiteheart, Lazarus, Moonmade.." He began the names of those he knew had passed, his ears swiveling forward as he lit another lantern, watching it rise up into the sky.

//So basically, you can have your character list the names of those who have died that they know, even if they're not an ascendants member. Then, your character lights a lantern, and it rises up.

[align=center][div style="width: 500px; text-align: justify; font-family: Verdana; font-size: 12px; color;"]This... wasn't a good idea. No, too many things in Agathe's life had been repressed, shut behind some invisible door in her mind and left to remain there unchecked. All of the sins she had committed... All of those who had fallen because her grandmother had ordered them to... There were so many names and faces in that little part of her head, but as she lit her own lantern, she would only honor one. "Sofiya," The snow leopard whispered quietly, contemplatively, golden eyes squeezing shut for just a moment. Rare emotion reared its ugly head and caused her to wince, remorse and guilt and heartbreak seizing her in their icy grasp and demanding that she finally react - that she finally atone - for what she did to her girlfriend.  She merely lifted the lantern into the air instead, features that had once been so alive with the warmth of feeling, of caring, returning to their stone-cold state.

Nobody knew who Sofiya was here. Nobody knew what she had done to her because her grandmother had willed it. Sometimes, Agathe just wished that it had been her girlfriend that had caused her to snap and revolt against her matron- not Meredith. But the past was the past and Sofiya had been taken from her by here... There was no changing that, reversing it. And so Agathe Ashyver trained her gaze on the sky and tried to live with it.

◜: *✧◞ Seated near the back of the general event was the other Astral Seraph, his amber hues observing the flickering lanterns as they were gracefully [sup]floated[/sup] into the open atmosphere. His masculine features remained neutral as Onision and a few others listed off the names of their loved ones, including... Agathe? Softly, subtly, his gaze lingered on the snow leopardess as she waved off a lantern of her own. Just who could she be grieving, he wondered to himself. The huntress had always seemed so steadfast and composed, though at the moment, he wondered if her stony exterior would fail her.

Titan figured that he should not linger his attention onto Agathe for long. This moment was hers, not his.

As for him, a few names came to mind, believe it or not. These hadn't been members of the Ascendants, but rather those he had known in his past. The names of the deceased? All of them.

No lantern was lit. He did not want to grieve out in the open in front of everyone. He didn't want anybody to know that he even was mourning the death of anyone but those of recent passings. Ḁ̷͉͕̀͊l̵̦̖̊͋l̴̗͔͌̂ͅ ̶̧̺́̍ò̴̥͜f̴̺̀ ̶̤̯̲͛́͘t̴͉͂͒h̵̟͇̙̆e̶̝̘͑̀m̴͍̱̀̑
