The letters had been sort of amusing at first. He wasn't sure why strangers were writing him and asking for advice, especially for advice regarding love. He hadn't interacted with anyone but Amunet up until last week and most didn't seem to think he was particularly charming. He certainly didn't know how to manage any sort of relationship, let alone one with romantic intentions. As far as he was concerned, he just wanted to learn more about his surroundings and what things there were to experience in this new world. He wasn't too sure about making friends. Could he really trust anyone? He didn't have a reason not to trust them but after a lifetime of looking out for Amunet and seeing how these mortals hurt her, he wasn't sure if he wanted to open to that kind of pain. While he'd never experienced such things directly, his connection with Amunet told him everything he needed to know about how much pain love could cause. Not only that, but some of the letters weren't just sweet nothings and desperate desires. No, some of them contained more... vulgar material and Amun could barely stand looking at them. Over the past week, he'd just been shoving them in the bottom of the bag he used to carry around his rocks and plants. It seemed like a good place for them because they wouldn't reappear like they would if he tried to throw them away or if he tried to burn them. He hoped that beneath all the rocks and plants, they'd be defaced beyond recognition and that'd be the end of it.

Amun had been out all day, trying to find new rocks and googly eyes. He'd only found one package of the strange eyeball stickers and he was hoping to come across another package, though he wasn't even sure where the original one came from. Perhaps it was an offering from one of those that still apparently worshiped him. It was a strange offering, he would admit, but he'd be very pleased if they sent him more. He could only hope he'd be that lucky. As he walked into the little home he shared with Amunet, he immediately realized letters were covering every inch of the floor.  "By all of Ra's power..." he muttered, hurrying forward and trying to grab as many as he could, shoving them anywhere he could. He had to get this all cleaned up before someone saw all of them. What would they think if they knew people sent him such horrible letters? He could barely stand the thought of Amunet finding them, let alone anyone else.

a new wind blows and soon it will be spring━

She would dip her cranium a bit until she was inside her own den feeling the letters poking at her scales and she'd pick one up [b]"Amun, you never told me you had so many secret admirers." She said in a mock jealous tone as she opened the letter she had opened up skimming through it with her calm lavender pools until a snort escaped her, she covered her mouth with her other "paw" trying to refrain from laughing at how vulgar and ridiculous the letter was. Her eyes still intent on the letter only to scoff at her brother "Even my own crush doesn't send me these letters." She snorted once more picking a few more up, reading a few verses, before she would burst out in laughter at how these were so ridiculous then again she had no reason to laugh at these poor mortals that wanted some kind of love. Some of them were actually quite depressing and strummed her heartstrings, sometimes, she wished she was emotionally immune yet she knew that was impossible.
