IT'S GOOD TO MEET YOU, MY CRIME AND PUNISHMENT !
Snowbound had not been safe enough for his little girl.
There were supernatural entities that floated about, causing havoc and the like simply because they could and such destruction was not the environment he had in mind for Riku. He had thought the snow laden territory that the Snowbounders called their home would be a sanctuary for him and his daughter─ valhalla, an safe haven, an port in a storm ─but no, it turned out the duo had jumped to conclusions far too quickly and Akuma was thankful he had acted in enough time this go around. Frankly, he was tired of the constant travelling. When it was just himself and his princess, his anxieties crept up on him slowly, digging itself into the back of his mind where it would linger still. It was the only reason he sought out these groups to reside in, where he knows Riku and himself would not have to worry about harm coming unto them. Saffron eyes shift about wearily, the slim black shape moving along cautiously. The day was creeping to a close, dusk settling across clear skies as the sun steps down from its throne high up in the sky. He had hoped to reach some place before the sun began to set but as it was, it seemed as if he and Riku may have to spend another night out in the wilderness much to his dismay. He exhales an defeated sigh as he looks upon the crimson furred child, the tiniest of smiles forming upon his features as he pauses. "At least we'll be able to see the stars clearly out here." He was horrid at making light of bad situations and that much was obvious in the way his tired eyes crinkled with the strained smile he held onto his face. "Come now. We've got to find some place to sleep before the moon rises." He keeps Riku close to his side, not daring to look away for too long whilst they wandered aimlessly. However, something seemed amiss. He pauses, tail curling slightly in anxiety as unfamiliar scent flows through his nose. There was a group? Here? He seldom heard of anything about a group living in a place like this, not from Snowbound or from anywhere, in fact. Akuma leans back on his haunches, the thoughts churning in his mind. Do they just cut through the territory or wait to be discovered? There was always an off-chance that someone is willing to help but there was equal opportunity for things to go quickly sideways. However, he was desperate at this point─ desperate for anything ─and so he remains, shoulders tense and claws sinking into the ground. The black anaconda that is draped across his neck seems to acknowledge the fact that his stress had quite literally skyrocketed and yet Kuma did a good job holding himself together. Well of course, he did─ he was an natural liar. "Let's wait a while, Riku. We'll see if people will come." / [member=2499]riku himura.[/member] please don't post before riku / muddymutt does, thank you! TAGS & INFORMATION \ TALKS IN #CC4E5C

DARKNESS EXISTS TO MAKE LIGHT TRULY COUNT
It should be noted that Riku... had a fear of ghosts. It was partially due to her time in the Abyss. That was creepy. It was much better traveling, in her opinion. And she hated traveling. The way it made her paws ache, how her body was drained after it.
She huffed as she noticed the sun going down, the shades of twilight now appearing. It was going to get cold soon. And it was going to get dark. It was harder to navigate in the dark. The wildcat hybrid moved, behind her father, given their obvious size difference. Her body tumbled and fumbled at the same time he was trying to make light of the situation. Ugh. Now the Himura Clan Princess was dirty. She shook her fur out, huffing tiredly. Her magenta eyes locked into her father, as she nearly bumps into him as he stops and sniffs. She watches him ponder, how he tenses up. The kitten moves, sitting next to him, wrapping her tail around him lovingly. After a bit, she meows, "Relax. We wouldn’t be a threat to them. They have no reason to attack!" Even if her father was a natural liar, she knew when he was stressed or upset. TAGS & INFORMATION \ TALKS IN #8C1717
Re: flimsiness ─ o, double joining - galexiux - 11-03-2018 Gwen had never been a refuge before. She had been alone in the forest, but kicked from her home, left to wander in fear of the unknown? Well that just sounded horrible. The jay blinked, ruffling her feathers as she spotted the two wildcats stop at their border (or... was the border two inches to the left?). Her blue eyes scanned the two over. She had admit, the girl was right. They didn't seem to pose a threat. She would normally rush down from her tree to greet them and invite them to her home... but... the last joiner... Sorry, returner, was not so nice. She was afraid to be her usually peppy self. She was much more cautious. Even if she was afraid, she couldn't let that effect her. She was stronger than that. The magpie-jay climbed down from the tree's canopy down into the lower branches. Even if she couldn't fly yet, she was still an expert climber. Traveling up and down branches was a breeze. Once she had lowered herself enough to be seen, she tilted her head. W-.. Who are you? She cursed herself at her stutter. It was the same question she asked the four-eyed one. She could only hope it didnt bare the same results. IT'S GOOD TO MEET YOU, MY CRIME AND PUNISHMENT !
The dark furred wildcat turns his golden gaze onto Riku as her voice reaches him in his tumultuous thoughts and tells him to relax. Right. Breathe in, breathe out─ don't let everything get to you at once. The Baskerville tilts his head down towards the girl, letting his sandpaper tongue run across her forehead in an affectionate and ultimately grateful gesture. "Well, I think they'd be too scared to anyways." The mischievous Chain would hum to her, his brows drawn up slightly as he straightens his posture. Akuma lifts his head in enough time to see a small creature, a bird gaze curiously onto them with almost the same ( if not more ) caution as he's had before. Tail curling about himself and Riku, he observes the jay momentarily before speaking, "I'm Akuma, and this is my daughter . . ." He looks to her, waiting to see if she would want to introduce herself as well before continuing on. "We're, ah . . . looking for a place to stay. Our old home has perished." Ghosts and fire did not go together, most certainly. They'd left a day before Snowbound went up in flames and by the time the news reached them through hearsay, they had already traveled quite a distance. Lucy, the anaconda wrapped comfortably around his neck, peered up curiously at Gwen, forked tongue flicking out to taste the scent that wafted from her. Akuma had to make sure that the hungry girl wouldn't eat the poor jay. That would be hard to explain to anyone else who showed up, wouldn't it?

Re: flimsiness ─ o, double joining - MIRIO! - 11-05-2018

PHANTOM MENACE
Togata Mirio is an 18 month old golden retriever whom is currently residing in the Rosebloods. As of right now, he has no rank. He is best friends with Tamaki Amajiki, and adores Eri. He is physically hard and easy to befriend. As always, Mirio wasn't far behind when it came to visitors or joiners. However, that didn't mean he wasn't late to the party. Fashionably late, to be exact. The golden retriever had trotted over, standing behind his fellow roseblood member before a grin took up his features. "Welcome to the Rosebloods then, you two! A family is nice- you guys can pick a home here- Do you need a tour?" Rambled the hyper male, midnight eyes gazing down at the two eagerly, as if waiting for the attention to be showered on him. He was great, he knew, but he didn't like to be showered with compliments- back when he was human, he had constantly been complimented on his quirk when it wasn't his quirk that was great- it was him, himself. He was strong because of the training he had put in. Sitting down, the canine's fluffy tail wagging behind him as he smiled at the two newcomers. "Ah- How rude of me. My name is Togata Mirio, feel free to call me Mirio." He introduced himself clumsily, waving with a paw. Even when traveling on his own, Perry could understand the need for safety. It was always on his mind, the importance of it. When running through mental notes and plans, the first thing he would always ask himself was: 'is it safe?' Then he would ask himself the risks and benefits, always flickering back to the idea of ensuring that he would not be harmed beyond repair. The truth was, he didn't mind if he died today or tomorrow. What he did mind, however, was the idea of brutally injuring himself to the point that he would have to live with the misery. It would be awful, for example, to lose an eye. He does not want to think of one minute without his stereoscopic vision. It would be far more difficult to manipulate the objects around him. He wouldn't be able to write anymore without feeling mad, shaken by a sense of insanity because of the way words appeared both close and far away, brain unable to interpret or guess. Perry simply dreaded the idea of too many things, always fixated and thinking of how he would feel about everyone and everything. He simply had a lot of opinions for someone who could still be considered so young. The coyote's eyes flicker towards the father and daughter, no words leaving his lips. Perished. He wondered if the two had been living as travelers or once been part of a group. Whilst looking for a quiet place to stay, he considered Snowbound for a moment before hearing nasty stories of how The Pitt were planning to, well, pit against them. They were all just rumours among rumours. It was hard to differentiate fact from lie that eventually words meshed until he needed to remember them, cold eyes wandering towards the duo for any sign of injuries. From the looks of it, the two strangers appeared to be fine. Perry, of course, let the golden retriever do the talking. He didn't know the other male very well, not even knowing his name, but he did note the other to be rather...energetic. It reminded him a little of Sorbet if it weren't for the fact that the domestic canine was dials higher than the icy wolf. Togata Mirio. He felt almost left out. All their names, from the sound of it, were Japanese. "Wel-Welcome," he says, deciding to withhold his name for now. It felt a little awkward for Perry to introduce his non-Japanese name to the two joiners. Re: flimsiness ─ o, double joining - Fright - 11-06-2018 CONFETTI & CONFESSIONS
Metal bionic paws clicked as Fright approached behind the others gathered around the two wildcat hybrids. He wore a dry smile and drool dripped from the candy sucker that had been hanging in his mouth too long but looking classy in front of new people was almost impossible for him with his trashy drawl and big attitude, so it had never been his thing. He wondered with a strange feeling in his stomach what they might have meant by their former home ‘perishing?’ He had so many questions for that, but he held his tongue. He knew a thing or two about running away from home. He’d come crawling here not long ago in search of safety himself. His home hadn’t been destroyed, no, but he had been given no options but to leave after a bounty on his head. Since then, he’d been trying to cut the tendencies that he guessed caused his head to be targeted. His fierce green eyes went from Akuma (noting the serpent coiled at his with grit teeth) to Riku and back again as he tried to see the resemblance between them. Mirio was super quick in greeting them so Fright opened his mouth to speak as well. ”Yeah, yeah, I’d be fine if you guys wanted to crash here so welcome, Akuma and...?,” he paused because the girl had yet to speak her name but the servaline spirit smirked and continued on to introduce himself, ”I’m known as Frightfur ‘round here and a medic, too. Sorry about y’alls home but if ya don’t mind me poking…Where did you live before?” He offered the two travelers a light-hearted wave one of titanium paw.

|
