LIFE WON'T CHANGE | o, trick-or-treating - FUBUKI - 10-31-2018

[align=center][div style="text-align: justify; width: 60%; font-family: georgial; font-size: 11pt;"]With the male being a meager one month old the time his first Halloween rolled around, he'd never experienced the joys of going around asking for treats before. Over in his remote territory growing up, resources to give out and joys to be had with human celebrations were scarce, so even if Ren had a clue of what was going on, chances were his trick-or-treating attempts would've been unsuccessful. Perhaps he'd get an apple or another hard object that a weaning young cat wouldn't have fun with - in laments terms, this was the first time he could properly celebrate Halloween, all drama aside he'd be sure to be it a good time. An adult by age, a child at heart, if his own clan didn't have enough goodies to lend in the growing dusk, breaking curfew for one night of fun surely wouldn't hurt... right?

First came the costume, whilst it wasn't a flashy array of the male's talents (designing wasn't really apart of his skill set), it did the job well enough. There was a red robe, then a robe even darker than Ren's unkempt fur was adorn his body above the first robe, draped down just millimeters above the ground and seemingly made out of a silky material (most likely an unused bed sheet). Tying around his neck loosely, some more distinct features of the male's costume came when looking at his teeth. More of a sabertooth than a domestic cat, comically large silicone canines poked out from both sides of his maw, uncomfortable and itchy but a key part of his design. Lastly was a set of floppy velveteen bat wings attached to a black, wreath-like band going around his cranium. Dun... dun... dun! He was dracula... or just a regular vampire, Ren wouldn't be able answer which one he was truthfully either.

A pumpkin bucket dangling from a green handle in his mouth, the year-old tom began wandering around the residential sections of the Ascendants, no shame or embarrassment surrounding him. Even if he got nothing, or was scorned for acting like a kid again... it was fun. Making a costume, wearing the capes, if nothing else it'd given him some good inspiration and guts for future projects - at the end of the day, that was all he could ask for. Knocking on a random door, the male would calmly call out "Trick or treat,". At least his demeanor, static as always, was masking his puppy-esque excitement for the whole ordeal.
