KILLING THEIR DESIRE [private, mori] - Luca - 10-27-2018 Perhaps he has gotten a bit carried away in the midst of that raid. He had allowed those hunter instincts of his to take over when he dove into the carnage, his old self seeping through the cracks of his new persona and causing him to act out of habit. During the raid it had been exhilarating, a taste of why he had enjoyed his life so much in the past. Now, as morning light filtered in through the window and danced across his table, all he felt was a vague sense of discomfort. Here he was, casually drinking his morning coffee, trying to decide what to do with the living creature tied in the basement below him. Surely he couldn't do what he used to. Going back to old behavior would defeat the purpose of everything he had done to improve. He took a sip of the drink, leaving it to hover beside him with his telekinesis. He'd have to face what he'd done eventually, and sometimes it was better to just... rip off the bandaid, so to speak. He sighed and pulled himself to his paws, giving his fur a little shake before heading down the creaky stairs that led to his basement. He made sure to take with him a couple cupcakes from the day before. Luca was detached from mortality (one couldn't blame him for that after four hundred years) so he had forgotten all about things like nutrition. As far as he was aware, all that his captive needed were cupcakes and coffee to survive. After all, that's mostly what his diet consisted of.
The basement was dim and damp as usual, although the pleasant smell of baked goods wafted in from above. "Wakey wakey, time for cupcakey," he chirped in greeting, setting down one of the treats in front of the two headed lamb. "I hope you're not gluten intolerant, I ran out of cornflour ages ago," he continued for clarity's sake, taking another sip from his coffee as he assessed his captive. Their fur, although he guessed sheep called it something different. Wool? Whatever it was, it definitely needed a wash. Luca knew he'd probably have to take them to see Junji later, although the thought of explaining how he came to possess this creature made him grimace. He settled down into a seated position in front of them, downing the rest of his drink before placing the cup down and inching forwards to examine Mori closer, attempting to check for any injuries. |
