little raindrop [♥] joining/introduction - galexiux - 10-23-2018 How strange it was to see a bright blue fledgling hop around on the ground. She ran and skipped instead of flying in the air. Such a free creature should be up in the air, no? ... what caused this one to be on the ground? ... well. either way, she seemed happy enough. The tiny magpie-jay happily hopped across the forested floor, taking no mind into the eerie and spooky atmosphere. if anything, she seemed intrigued by it. Snatching a loose twig into her beak, she javelined herself up onto a log where she stared up at the shifting tree branches around her. This place has to be haunted... She whispered silently under her breath. Her beak fell open slightly, her blue eyes scanning the trees. One heartbeat..... two heartbeats...... three heartbeats... She stood still, tail and crest fluffed up as the wind gently caressed the feathers, twirling their fingers through the soft membranes. The little bird blinked, still as a statue. She almost seemed broken for a few seconds before she springed to life as if her batteries had been replaced. She jumped up, raising her wings to the sky and shouted out, That is so cool!! She screeched as she fell to the ground, lying on her back. She blinked twice in a daze before she shorted, laughing at her own predicament. She doesn't even know how much danger she's in. "SPEECH" Re: little raindrop [♥] joining/introduction - sephiroth - 10-23-2018 SEPHIROTH MALE — ROSEBLOODS — LORD — HOVER FOR TAGS

Was there really a good reason to launch an attack at such a small and helpless animal? It wouldn’t be worth his time.Pawsteps and the rustling of foliage announced Sephiroth’s arrival, eyes sharp and aquamarine in hue searching for the source of the small voice he had picked up during a small trip through the territory. His eyes searched until something blue appeared in the corner of his vision and far down on the ground. The male had to literally look down his muzzle to catch sight of Gwen, the creature far far smaller than he. Hm. He hadn’t put much thought into the well being and lives of creatures like this, animals he thought lower than the beasts who inhabited the Rosebloods. But apparently they did have their own little lives. Hm. ”And where have you come from?” The Lord’s honey smooth and deep voice would inquire at Gwen’s intentions, the male seeing no purpose in mundane and mindless action without purpose. Sephiroth would buckle his front legs to bend down and get a better look at the bird, unblinking and his attention focused on the curious creature. Re: little raindrop [♥] joining/introduction - Jiyu Simul Stamus - 10-24-2018 And out of no where adding to the haunted aspect a transparent calico teleported in right beside Sep, becoming solid slowly as she landed beside him. Eventually, her teleportation ability was going to wear on someone, but for now it was whatever and one of her favorite means of getting places. Emotionless gaze looked at the bird as she stood stoic beside Sep. Re: little raindrop [♥] joining/introduction - galexiux - 10-24-2018 The magpie-jay gasped as she heard approaching pawsteps. Her wings flailed as she jumped off the ground. Aahh!! she screeched, her flailing wings and feathers catching a few inches of air, This place really is haunted!! Exhausted from her flight, Gwen huffed as she fell back on the ground. She fell backwards onto her tail, sitting tired on the ground. Her blue eyes fell shut for a silent moment before she became recharged with a frantic shake of her head. The little bird scanned the "intruder" of her little expedition over before smiling. Hello, mister! She cooed out, standing back up onto her twig-like legs. Practically ignoring Seth's question, she hopped up to the pale lion, tilting her head. How did you get so big? She gasped, I bet it has to do with the haunted forest! It's magic right! She hopped a few steps away, flapping her wings, already lost in another fantasy. That's why everything here is so scary and spooky! It's all magic! I'm probably in real danger he- aaHH! The bird screeched, watching Jiyu appear out of thin air. She stared in shock for a few seconds before her beak split into a huge grin. That was so cool!! she cried out, flapping her wings, Can you do it again?? Can you teach me how to do that?? It was a tool of intimidation more then anything, though this small avian was clearly not at frightened off by his appearance. Sephiroth's eyes followed Gwen as she hoped foreword and spoke, his own ears flicking as he listened in. A child, clearly enough. No threat, nothing to worry about. With a near silent exhale and he would relax his expression and glance to Jiyu as Gwen's focus shifted. Yes, clearly nothing to worry about.Sephiroth would rise back up to his full height while keeping his eyes on what he assumed was a newcomer. His mind worked to come to the conclusion that Gwen clearly had nowhere else to go and honestly probably wouldn't survive by herself. He remembered the fire that consumed their old territory, the young one called Stockholm he had saved and felt some sort of attachment to. Was this the same? A strange feeling of warm rose up in his chest that he didn't fully understand or dare to admit to. He supposed this one was worth the care. "I can assure you I am the most frightening thing here." Sephiroth would rumble, gentling his deep voice the best he could. The statement was true, the spirits that were currently skulking about scattered when he entered a scene, his own strength clear in the hard muscles under his pelt being enough to drive them off. "And this form was the one the universe decided to bestow upon me." Yeah, the kid probably wouldn't understand a word of what he was saying. But that was simply how he was, cryptic and mysterious and overly dramatic. For once a look of amusement crossed his face as Gwen's attention shifted to Jiyu, his icy eyes gleaming with a small glow. "Perhaps one day she could teach you." A purr tone of amusement came as his response, the smallest of smiles on his face. His eyes flickered back down to the small bird, the tension that normally kept him held tightly seeming to release him for a little bit. "If you want to stay with us we could...make sure you're safe." Positive emotion and showing it was a foreign concept to Sephiroth, his attempts of being friendly feeling awkward to him. It was a personal hurdle he would have to overcome soon. Re: little raindrop [♥] joining/introduction - Jiyu Simul Stamus - 10-25-2018 Children had a special way with the stoic, unaffected by the way grown ups acted, so eager for any interaction that they could pry what was just beneath the surface out more readily. Emotionless optics blinking, the calico faded away and moments later appeared on the other side of the lord, once more using her powers in combination. "Perhaps." her ears tipped forward as her monotone voice filled the air, void gaze locked onto the child. "However, it's two powers not just one, so it's harder to teach someone than mentoring them in elementals or such, and it would be more effective with my inactive invisibility active." which she had done before, but currently was incapable of as all but two of her powers seemed to adore the idea of vanishing and promptly done that sometime ago. Without access to most of them, she couldn't teach them. Jiyu was a very hands on mentor, she had never known anything else after-all. "Powers are fickle, some animals obtain them, some just possess none, though I have seen some limited success in certain methods of training attempts to awaken them. Often you don't know which one's you've got until they become necessary." like her immortality, she hadn't been aware of that until she got her throat sliced open, paw rising to her neck briefly at the memory, touching to a light pink scar slightly visible beneath her ruffled fur. Re: little raindrop [♥] joining/introduction - galexiux - 10-25-2018 The little bird took a step back as Seph rose himself up. If she was intimidated by the height, she didn't show it. Perhaps she was aware of just how small she was and learned to overcome it. Or... perhaps she was simply too trusting to be worried about it. It's nice to meet you, mister, she chirped, I'm Gwendoline! By my mama always called me Gwen. She shuddered, her feathers standing up, Mama only called me Gwendoline when she was mad. Quickly springing back, Gwen shook her head to clear her negative thoughts, her gaze refocusing on the white lion. What's your name, sir? The bird tilted her head at the mention of powers. Powers? she echoed, an excited smile on her beak. I don't think I have any of those. I'm just your average jay. She chuckled. She took a hop towards Jiyu, her evergrowing smile only growing wider. Were you born with them, miss? Or did you train too? "SPEECH" Re: little raindrop [♥] joining/introduction - Jiyu Simul Stamus - 10-27-2018 Normally, the calico did not speak to anyone but part of this was because no one ever truly spoke to her. After over a decade of life and knowing she would outlive all of them? Jiyu was in no hurry to form bonds she knew would rot on one side over time leaving her carrying everything. In spite of lacking emotion and believing connection had no purpose in her duty? A certain weight still existed to being the one left standing after others walked forward in the cycle of life. Thus, she remained silent when she had no reason to speak. Being asked questions? Gave a reason for her to speak, unless it was expressly personal regarding her past before the group, she had no problem sating general curiosity. "I was likely born with them as they just appeared when they were needed and I honed them over time, though currently only those two work." and she really had no idea why they randomly shut off sometimes, but it was something she couldn't help and thus chose not to dwell on because there would be no logic to be found within it. However, there was a logical solution for one willing to look at the emotional side of the world, her powers coming into play always had certain circumstances surrounding them. |
