SHADOW WORLD | WEEKLY TASKS; 22ND - 29TH - FUBUKI - 10-22-2018 [align=center][div style="text-align: justify; width: 60%; font-family: georgial; font-size: 11pt;"]Ren wasn't completely sure why he was doing this. It was in direct hypocrisy of his desires to be as inconspicuous as possible, to the male this was the most conspicuous thing he could do other than yelling every single private thought at Moon. Even if there was some risk making himself the center of attention, deciding to be mature and handing out jobs for everyone to do did come with plenty of benefits. For starters, the feline would have more excuses to show off that hidden confidence around the clan - he could also see and figure out the names and faces of a few more of his clanmates. There were several new ones which he had been too slow to greet, the sooner he knew their details, the better. The last thing the Guardian wanted was for one of these naive souls to pass because of both the murderer and Sunhaven breathing down the Ascendant's neck. At least if he learnt more about them, he could figure out the best way to keep them protected or... something like that. Truthfully there weren't any other plans he could perform right now. You're just a youngster who isn't even a high position, don't put the pressure on yourself. His cynical thoughts were certainly true, but as the male shuffled towards the center of the main dome, he pushed the doubts to the back of his head. Clearing his throat, the feline would look up at all of the passerby's, wondering the best way to get their attention verbally. Public speaking really wasn't his thing. Instead of nervousness, Ren felt a sense of awkwardness as a few lone gazes drifted his way, ears heating up. Actions always spoke louder than words, and whilst he was half tempted to bust out a placard saying 'weekly tasks', after bargaining for an oven from another peer he wasn't keen on begging them for more. "Gather for some weekly tasks,". Good start, good start, did anything else need to be said? "Take as many as you like. Don't like yours, ask for another,". There, that'd keep the masses happy. Re: SHADOW WORLD | WEEKLY TASKS; 22ND - 29TH - miss ririchiyo - 10-22-2018 Slowly, carefully, Saeran had crept over at the announcement for weekly tasks, sharp blue eyes focusing on the creature before him before he softly spoke up, his tone shaky. "I'll.. Take one." He murmured, his tail slowly moving in a cautious wag. He hoped he said it right- he didn't want to make anyone mad with bad manners. "Please." He added quickly after, internally sighing in relief that he had used some type of manners. ▹▹▹▹Clementine would approach next, it seemed, in a lazy little tracking post. The serval's ears perked at the call for a weekly task- or in other words, something to do! Just as quickly, Clementine got her little legs to move as fast as they would carry her towards Ren. "Me, please!" Re: SHADOW WORLD | WEEKLY TASKS; 22ND - 29TH - agathe. - 10-22-2018 [align=center][div style="width: 500px; text-align: justify; font-family: Verdana; font-size: 11px; color: black;"]Oh? Another one of these things? She supposed that they did indeed live up to the name of 'weekly task' then. "Yes, I'll take one as well," The Lunar Lieutenant announced, stopping besides Clementine as she did so. Re: SHADOW WORLD | WEEKLY TASKS; 22ND - 29TH - ATLAS. - 10-22-2018 [align=center] Tasks. The most he could equate this with would be back before he first left the library, listening to his parents list out what they all needed to do. Atlas, organize the nonfiction section. Atlas, dust the tables. Atlas, have you done what I asked? He wasn't a fan of them then and he's certainly not a fan now, but the canine finds himself drawn to responsibility the same way that Ren was. Even if he didn't want to, he was going to. So following after the example of everyone who showed up before him, the large canine glanced between them and then stopped in line. Like this was normal. "I'll... take something."

Re: SHADOW WORLD | WEEKLY TASKS; 22ND - 29TH - BABY — - 10-22-2018 [table][tr][td][/td][td] YOU'RE RUNNING OUT OF TIME
YEAH, YOU KNOW YOU CAN'T GO BACK, IT'S TOO LATE TO SAY IT'S TOO LATE. YOU CAN'T TAKE BACK THAT YOU SAID NOTHING. HOW COULD YOU DO NOTHING? Weekly tasks, as he was learning, could be distributed in a few different ways. Someone could task him with egging another group's border, or he could be tasked with holding hunting patrols. As humorous or serious as they were, Titan wanted to at least try and get one for himself. It contributed to a healthy, productive community, and Titan wanted to be apart of it. It was far too easy to isolate himself in the shadows of his room, but it was also easy to be apart of something more... something bigger. Perhaps it was the part of him that wanted to prove himself and receive v a l i d a t i o n for his efforts. The lion approached after everyone else, looking over at Ren ( now his superior ). "As will I." Re: SHADOW WORLD | WEEKLY TASKS; 22ND - 29TH - FUBUKI - 10-23-2018 [align=center][div style="text-align: justify; width: 60%; font-family: georgial; font-size: 11pt;"]One, two, three, four and oh... five. It seems that this would be a good test of creativity and patience as well, for he was sure he'd bore everyone to tears if he gave them simple tasks such as 'hunt' or 'spar'. Some of the names in the crowd were unknown to him, but predicting just as much, Ren didn't let the confusion or curiosity eat away at him too long. Firstly, he turned to [member=2667]SAERAN.[/member], nodding in greetings. The doberman seemed... almost like a punk if appearance was a solid enough foundation to go off of... damn it, he knew it wasn't. "Pooch, could you show off or teach a hobby of your choice to a class of Ascendants?". Learning something knew to take their minds off of the heavy stuff, seemed reasonable to him. Next was Clem, and whilst he may not have had direct conversation with her previously, he swore someone had spoke her name around him at some point. If not, he was a clairvoyant - he wished. "[member=126]CLEMENTINE P.[/member], I want you to find someone you want to get closer to and give them a Halloween-themed present," he mewed to the youngster. Everyone liked free stuff, even if it was just improving the relationship between two creatures it was worth it. Turning to Agathe, a face more familiar than the previous two, Ren had to pause to think. What would she like? Family and culture seemed to impact her life greatly, but the feline wondered if giving a task related to that was too big of a boundary to cross currently. "[member=2568]agathe.[/member], do you have a necklace yet? A lot here have them to display their rank and zodiac. They also have a pendant of something that symbolises them, I want you to figure out what your symbolism will be and make it,". Ren kept his own necklace safe in his room, opting to wear a pair of spectacles around his neck instead, and though his too lacked a pendant he didn't think it gave him any less right to ask someone else to find their own. Realising how much he'd been talking, the tom would turn quickly now to the next stranger, [member=2637]ATLAS.[/member] "Other pooch, care to host a game of Bulldogs with the other members?". A game totally not given to the canine due to it's title, Ren would just have to hope the Observers wouldn't hurt themselves too much tackling each other. Now finally, Titan. Between recent training sessions and border patrols, the other's determination to be involved in the more serious aspects of clan activity was in contrast to the Starstruck Guardian. By doing these tasks, he'd taken a pawstep into the lion's life, now perhaps, it was time for the other to do the same for him. "[member=2137]TITAN[/member], I want you to make some coffee for everyone. If you don't know how to make it, that's fine, consider it a self-teaching lesson,". Re: SHADOW WORLD | WEEKLY TASKS; 22ND - 29TH - ELEANOR. - 10-23-2018 Eleanor approached quietly, the snowy pelted girl glancing around those that had gathered. she hated how foreign she felt here, how secluded she felt. it wasn't as though they hadn't attempted to make her feel welcome, because they had, she just didn't have any relationships here. no real friends. ah, she'd have to try to change that, but she wasn't sure how she would. no, she'd figure something out eventually. "please?"

Isabelle was next to pad up, a bounce in her step as she did so. This would be her first weekly task ever, so she wanted to make sure she did her best. Hopefully it would be something fun. "I want one--please!" she speaks up quickly, adding in the last part at the last second. She had to mind her manners, as she had always been told. "speech" Re: SHADOW WORLD | WEEKLY TASKS; 22ND - 29TH - FUBUKI - 10-26-2018 [align=center][div style="text-align: justify; width: 60%; font-family: georgial; font-size: 11pt;"]Hmm, it seemed that more animals now wanted a shot at one of his weekly tasks. Offering a nod of his heading in greetings to the both of them, his lips became pursed as he tried to figure out what to call the two females. Names were... kinda unknown to him at this point. At least his first impressions of them were decent, most likely due to their manners. First of all turning to [member=2659]ELEANOR.[/member], the male would mew "Wanna host a pumpkin carving session? Maybe turn it into a competition? We could do with some nice decorations,". Ren'd then turn his head, tilting it slightly when he got a better look at the latter creature. "Pink one ([member=2172]ISABELLE M.[/member]), care to pull a Halloween related prank on somebody? Easiest example would be a scare,". |
