JERSEYBOY
Could one say that walking around in the woods after sundown was stupid? Why, yes. Yes they could. Not that Sunhaven's territory was usually f r a u g h t with danger and malicious creatures, but now more than ever, it was stressed that you never go near the border alone. Those star-nerds—the Ascendants—were hot on their trail after a few less-than-pleasant incidents. Raids, murders, accusations being tossed back-and-forth between the two warring sides. Honestly, Jerseyboy hadn't kept up with any of that nonsense. He didn't particularly pay attention to politics—if it didn't involve him, that is. Jerseyboy had come here to sit back and enjoy the waves, and that was what he was going to continue to do. Politics weren't going to ruin his stay here.

While he had no problem doing what he wanted, he didn't feel like getting jumped by an angry Ascendant. Jerseyboy trailed away from the border, eyes open and looking around alertly. Streaks of bright orange and pink still painted the horizon, which he locked his eyes on as he walked. The sunsets here were the best, he had to admit. Perhaps he could get home fast enough and catch a view of the colors g l i s t e n i n g over the sea.

Re: ` ✦ ° ┊ send me your location ﹙ p, clove ﹚ - CLOVE. - 10-19-2018

[div style="width: 45%; text-align: justify; font-size: 10pt; letter-spacing: -1px; font-family: arial;"]♡ — Clove couldn't really comment on the recent tension between Sunhaven and The Ascendants; having only been here for just over a week, she was still getting to grips with the political climate. Something about the rivalry felt familiar, and not in a good way. Rather, it left a lump of dread in her throat.

Maybe it was something to do with her past, the part of her memory that was blurred and indecipherable. And with that said, considering the emotions that surrounded that part of her head, perhaps it was just as well she didn't remember.

Clove was returning to the camp after going out hunting. Fishing was new to her, but after being shown how to catch one by a couple of friendly Haveners, Clove had been determined to hone her new skill. As such, a water-droplet dappled salmon was held in her jaws, it's tail bobbing up and down with every step she took.

Turning a corner, Clove started in surprise as she almost stumbled into the feline that was stood in her path; and dropped her salmon on the dusty ground with a huff, using her momentum to direct herself to Jerseyboy's left and avoid crashing into him.
"Didn't see you there." the kitsune said after a moment, her solar eyes locked on the discarded fish with a disappointed expression. She hated dirt on her food.

JERSEYBOY
// tired, please excuse this skskdkdk

Running head-first into a winged fox sure wasn't on his agenda for that evening. However, it had indeed happened and Jerseyboy winced as they collided. He took a step back, gathering himself and garnering a reaction to the incident. The tuxedo tom met the amber gaze of the kitsune, and he recognized it to be... Clove's. That was her name, wasn't it?

Sporting a small yet amused smirk, Jersey huffed, "Well well, if it isn't Two-Tails." What could he say? He took every chance he could get to tease people.

It had taken him a few moments to realize that Clove had dropped a fresh catch onto the ground. His eyes flickered down to it, and almost out of instinct, he leaned his cranium down to allow himself to take it into his jaws. "Oop, dropped somethin'." He then raised his head back up, the dirtied fish limp in his grasp, and he offered it out to Clove.
