VITAL SIGNS (open, ghost) - - DELTA - - 10-14-2018

DELTA
female the typhoon raptor squad
Delta didn't believe in ghosts. For her, once something died, it didn't come back. Not that she thought much on it, as she trailed a bit close towards camp while chasing down a large boar, when a familiar, if faint, scent could be detected, and the ghostly form caught her attention, the pale green utahraptor coming to a stop, abandoning her prey, tilting her head as a pudgy cat floated closer, so that it was eye level with her.

She knew this scent. Pupils constricted, and she huffed, getting a better idea, and confirming what should've been impossible. This was the man who had thought he could control her. Hoskins. Tail whipping back and forth, she approached, claws outstretched.

"Hey, boy." The grin on the ghost's face was there, extending a ghostly paw mockingly towards the beta, who let out a low hiss, something that said, stay back, and when it continued to extend, Delta's head would shoot forward with a loud shriek, sharp teeth encasing the appendenge, and trying to rip it off, only to find nothing in her mouth, and the arm beginning to reform, looking a bit like mist.

The grin on his face as he floated around, taunting the raptor, watching her try and attack and fail, the shrieks and cries of frustration echoing throughout the forest.

She didn't feel any shame for killing him, and eating him. But she wasn't fond of the fact that the male who she killed was back, one that she was knew well enough that he was one of the reasons she and her sisters had been kept in captivity. He had been around the cages, watching them with Owen with those beady little eyes of his. So he was a threat. A threat she had to deal with.

Re: VITAL SIGNS (open, ghost) - Masie - 10-14-2018

Masie didn't believe in, oh wait she was only an infant, she believed in anything whatsoever in the world. If it was told to her by Delta or Owen, the raptor especially believed it. Of course, she had a hard time following exact orders sometimes, even if she believed everything they said. At only two months old? Her attention span was very poor, so if she was told to stay in the nest, but a very attractive butterfly or swift dragonfly went by, sometimes it very easily led her away. Today, was another one of the days that something had lured her easily from the confines of the raptor nest. Swiftly moving wings that shimmered in the sun like glass kept the gaze of the infant focused, large legs moving swiftly. This time, it had been a pair of dragonfly's, though she had lost the second one long ago, closed mouth chasing down the one she had not lost, maneuvering clumsily without much strategy as she had not seen her family hunt officially yet, so she only had what instinct provided her.

Eventually, the fun was interupted by sounds of frustration from Delta, but it was more than the normal irked mood her sister seemed to have about many things. Masie couldn't quiet figure out what was going on out of her sight, she had yet to experiance an actual threat that they would fight. Only, she had heard the cries of larger raptors when they went off leaving her in silence until hatching, it was quickly fading from memory but enough of it was still there. Whatever was going on? She could only compare to the instance she barely remembered, but recalled there had been much less noise afterwards, giving her the first hint of danger she'd ever felt. Masie didn't want Delta's noise to stop!

Tiny legs carried her stumbling across the ground, amber optics narrowed, thinking only of wanting Delta to keep making noise. Seconds ticking by, the instincts which flowed within her, evened out the movements she normally preformed clumsily, her body leaned forward allowing her to move faster than she had moved so far in her life. "BACK!" she had learned what it meant from Delta and as she leaped from the brush attempting to jump onto the spirit cat, she cried it out at him, wanting him to back away from her sister.

Only Masie found herself rolling across the ground, straight into one of the nearby tree's as she discovered for some reason the danger was untouchable. As an infant, the raptor couldn't understand that concept, quickly righting herself and snarling, tiny feet kicked up dust. "BACK!" leaning her body down she once more prepared to charge the plump ghost.

Owen had heard the cry of frustration, and that was never good when it came to his children. They had a quick temper, and the indominus rex almost always had something to deal with when it came to his kids. The massive dinosaur shifted through the trees, catching sight of the spirit and Delta.. And Masie.

"Ghost? Won't die?" Owen babbled in confusion, a large snarl ripping from his throat towards the fat felidae, his tail lashing angrily behind him. He knew that scent. That fucking guy, why was he haunting his girls? Owen didn't know if he should forcefully try to shift back into his german shepherd form and brawl with the dude, or call for help?

Calling help sounded so much smarter, but Owen was so hyped up from adrenaline that it took a while to do so. After a few moments of a stare-off, Owen finally roared out for help.
"HOW THE FUCK YOU DO YOU KILL A SPIRIT?"
