I WILL SING NO REQUIEM & tamaki - MIRIO! - 10-13-2018

PHANTOM MENACE
Togata Mirio is an 18 month old golden retriever whom is currently residing in the Rosebloods. As of right now, he has no rank. He is best friends with Tamaki Amajiki, and adores Eri. He is physically hard and easy to befriend. Mirio was a good friend. Or so, he believed he was. He believed that he supported his friends so much more than your typical teenager would. He would have jumped in front of a bus for Tamaki, for Eri, for any of the Big Three. He was close with his fellow Three members, but he had grown attached to Tamaki in particular. For many years, his liking for Tamaki was based on friendship. For so long, he had focused on keeping Tamaki happy, making sure he knew just how much he actually meant to the golden-haired boy. It was something that Mirio couldn't help but do, though. They were best friends. Up until he was dying, they had always been just best friends. When he was on his last few breaths, Tamaki was more than that, anything but that. Tamaki was the love of his life, as Mirio had realized. On his death bed, in the face of death, Mirio could only think of the messy-haired ball of anxiety, the way he tried to imagine his class as potatoes, the way he leaned into the wall to avoid everyones stares. He loved Tamaki. Even in this world, where he had to force himself to smile, force himself to be the strong one, to not cry, he admitted to himself that he loved Tamaki. Even in the male's new, hybrid form, while everyone thought of him as gross-looking or unusual, Mirio was enraptured. He adored the boy, he adored every little thing about Tamaki, all of his flaws, all of his imperfections. But Tamaki couldn't agree with him. Self-confidence was almost non-existent. He wanted Tamaki to feel like he deserved the world, that this world was all they had left. They could find her, their best friend, the last of the Big Three. She could live with them, they could live together, he knew they could. Mirio decided to stay quiet about his feelings, for Tamaki's sake. Now wasn't the time. Sitting up from his position on the nest he had been laying with Tamaki in, Mirio pulled the boy's cloak further over his form, a calm smile on his features. The large golden retriever was warm enough, he didn't need a blanket, but he knew Amajiki did. "Hey, want to go roast some marshmellows?" He asked softly, his breath warm against the other male's ear. Affectionate, comforting. He would wake the male up, but it would be worth it for the treat. The three of them were like siblings to him. He and Kirishima, or Red Riot, had bonded over their internship with Fatgum. He knew the first year student would eventually grow up to be an amazing Hero, if he was still in the old world. Nobody truly deserved to die, including villains. After the retirement of All Might, the world had gone downhill and the levels of crime in Japan had increased. Tamaki could remember Mirio's death well. He and Hado had been there, and Tamaki, had gone to the villains alone, to try and avenge his fallen friend. It had ended badly and he'd ended up dying himself. Only to wake up in the miserable body of a freak. That's right, he viewed himself as a freak, with the body of a cat, teeth, gills and tail of a shark and the split tongue and slitted eyes of a snake. It was the only reason he always wore his all-white cape, to hide himself from others. The anxious male had been sleeping away most of the day when Mirio had awoken him. He jolted awake, and with a startled hiss, he would quickly jump away from the other, before relaxing. Had it been anybody else that woke him, he would've been very upset. He frowned and he sat down, staring the other in the eyes intensely. He lifted one of his forepaws and wiped away the sleep on his eyes. Then he heard something about marshmallows. Tamaki slowly blinked before he would quietly answer with a small shrug of his shoulders. "Sure. Marshmallows sound nice, I guess." The hybrid male would then stand up, ready to follow the other. Togata Mirio is an 18 month old golden retriever whom is currently residing in the Rosebloods. As of right now, he has no rank. He is best friends with Tamaki Amajiki, and adores Eri. He is physically hard and easy to befriend. The thing about having been seen as the one who would become the next no. 1 hero, was that you had responsibilities. You had to do this right, do that now, save that for later. Priorities, something he had to learn at such a young age when he had first attended U.A. All of them had to learn it. They had to learn when to fight, how to control their nerves in the middle of a fight. Maybe that was what led Mirio to his ultimate death, the fact that he had no quirk but still continued being a hero. Maybe he was destined to die. But Mirio would never believe such cowardly things. He was a hero, even after death. He was someone who protected those too weak to protect themselves, he was someone who Japan prided, loved boldly. His death was heroic, and the Gods giving him a second chance was only proof of that. He wouldn't mess this life up. He would live it with purpose. "Come on, I'm sure it'll be good. I found some people sitting around a fire earlier. With the chilly weather, it'll be a good snack." Puffed out Mirio, his breath coming out in soft puffs of frost as he walked out of the den he had set up, stretching his limbs dramatically. With a loud crack of a joint, and a shiver of pleasure, Mirio finally began to walk towards said fire. The fire wasn't far off, surprisingly. Mirio had a good eye, and with the way he weaved through walls constantly, sticking his head into business it didn't belong, he was sure to piss a bunch of people off, but he didn't seem to care. The smiling canine couldn't stay on someone's bad side for long, especially with how he wanted to be friends with literally everyone. The sight of flames licked at his midnight-colored eyes, blends of blacks and blues in the round pits of nothing but warmth. His whole future flickered in those flames, it was like the fire had its own Mirio, standing next to Hado and Tamaki together. They were meant to be together, never apart. Lifting up a stick, Mirio got to work with sticking the marshmellow on the end of it, handing it over to Amajiki patiently. "The others are probably all asleep, so the fire is all ours." He barked softly, a kind smile on his features. This totally wasn't planned. Mirio totally didn't bribe a bunch of the NPC's who were here with stories in return for them giving him the fire for tonight. With a silent glance up at the stars, Mirio started on making his own marshmellow on a stick, poking it through the fluffy treat and holding the stick out to the fire with two of his paws, turning it enough for it to have a melty appearance, a bit burnt, but it was how he liked it. Mirio lifted the marshmellow out of the fire, sliding a graham cracker out of its pouch, along with some chocolate, and got started on putting his smores together. A sticky, sweet, gooey treat, but Mirio loved it. Silence seemed to pass for a bit, but Mirio was comfortable with it. He was comfortable with any situation as long as he wasn't alone, as long as Tamaki was here. Everything would be okay. Re: I WILL SING NO REQUIEM & tamaki - Character Graveyard. - 10-13-2018 [div style="text-align:justify;font-family:verdana;width:60%"] Everything would be okay. Tamaki had attempted to tell himself that over-and-over, so he wouldn't freak out and have an anxiety attack. It had only worked for a short amount of time, before he couldn't even stand saying those four words. He had issues. Lots of issues. He didn't know why Mirio or Hado put up with him. If he had been either of them, he would've left a long time ago and never returned. Pathetic. He bit his lower lip out of his bitterness at himself and he ignored the salty tang of blood he could feel in his mouth as well as the pain. It was more painful, thanks to his shark teeth. He continued to follow his friend and he warily took a glance around the territory, to make sure there wasn't anybody but them around. It wasn't that he disliked them, he was just an anxious bastard that clung onto those he was closest to in a annoying manner. He pulled his all-white cloak over his head tighter, so his entire face was hidden, though his shark-tail was showing and it swung back-and-fourth quickly, as he was somewhat agitated. He was happy that the fire wasn't too far away. Even though it was late and he slept all day, he still felt exhausted and he wanted to sleep more, but he would stay awake for Mirio. "Good." He said, at the other's mention of there being nobody else at the fire pit. That made him feel better, even if it was only a little bit. He sat beside the retriever, and he stared at the fire, the orange and yellow reflecting in his own darkly colored eyes. Fire was beautiful, but it was also very dangerous. It hungrily devoured whatever it wanted and whatever it could manage to. He would grab his own stick and he stuck his own marshmallow on it, before he held it between his two paws over the fire pit. Then he would bite into the almost-burnt marshmallow. He just liked it without the crackers and chocolate. Togata Mirio is an 18 month old golden retriever whom is currently residing in the Rosebloods. As of right now, he has no rank. He is best friends with Tamaki Amajiki, and adores Eri. He is physically hard and easy to befriend. Mirio watched Tamaki with gentle midnight eyes, dawn upon him as he was enraptured by the other boy. Tamaki didn't know how beautiful he was, how amazing, but Mirio did, deep down. He loved every fucking piece of the self-conscious male, and he couldn't wish these feelings away even if he wanted to. "We'll find Hado-chan soon enough, Tamaki." Mirio reassured the male, knowing just how much the other hybrid missed his friend. Their friend. He found himself reassuring Tamaki a lot, maybe he was reassuring himself? He didn't sound unsure, so he was pretty sure he was sure. Yeah, he was sure. Mirio felt his fur fluff up against the cold wind of the night, glancing over to Tamaki absently. "Are.. Are you cold? You can come closer, I'll keep you warm?" Mirio offered shyly for once, offering his arm to the male idly. He tried to play it off cool, but he just wasn't good at flirting. At all. He absolutely sucked at it. //mobile Re: I WILL SING NO REQUIEM & tamaki - Character Graveyard. - 11-12-2018 [div style="text-align:justify;font-family:verdana;width:60%"] Tamaki was close to both Nejire and Mirio. He knew that Mirio and Nejire weren't as close as he was with both of them, as he often heard them refer to each other by their surnames. He missed Nejire, but she could be hyper sometimes. Too hyper. He reached for another marshmallow, rolling it over to himself. He leaned over, grabbing the fluffy sweet with sharp teeth and he quickly tore it into smaller pieces, swallowing it as he did this. He glanced sideways, as he heard the golden retriever speak. "I know." He quietly said, before adding. "I'm sure, wherever Nejire is, she'll be alright. She has quite a strong quirk." The hybrid attempted to reassure himself. He noticed the other male's fur suddenly fluff up, as a cold breeze suddenly ran through the area. He suppressed a shudder and he heard Mirio's offer. A slightly embarrassed look formed on his face, though it was hidden by his white cloak. He released a "uwahh" sound, though he scooted closer to his friend, content with the warmth coming from the fire pit and his friend's body. He grabbed his stick and he poked it through another marshmallow, before holding it over the flames. "So." He began. "Have you met anyone in this place yet? Aside from those who were there when we arrived." Tamaki decided to question. |
