SEPHIROTH
MALE — ROSEBLOODS — PHARAOH — HOVER FOR TAGS

Sephiroth wasted no time returning to camp after his encounter with Jiyu.  The pain his head had subdued into a dull thudding about his brain, more annoying than anything else.  Still wasn’t exactly pleasant however, so he planned on retreating to his private quarters to sleep the ache away and hopefully put it all behind him for now and return to putting his clan back together.

Yes, he had his own private quarters now in the ruins.  He supposed he should go and gather up his few belongings from his old den and move them.  Sephiroth didn’t have much really; only one object of vague meaning, an old ceremonial dagger he found in the home he picked out once they moved to the ruins.  A small piece of intricate work with a golden sheath.  He had to admit he quite liked the look of it, kept it in his den simply for the sake of having it as his own.  Perhaps now that he was leader he could put it to use somehow, perhaps use it during some sort of event in honor of their new gods.  The deities that had inspired them to move had no power here, Sephiroth decided the aspects were more worthy of their attention than anything else.

The male lion slipped into his old quarters, small but somewhat cozy, not that he minded much.  He could adapt to most any environment, and so long as he had a solid surface to rest himself he was comfortable.  No matter if it was stone or silk, the lion could find a way to sleep on it.  He had placed the small dagger on a carved out shelf in the wall, and the Pharaoh approached it and gently hooked a claw around the hilt, examining the piece of work with his thoughtful eyes.  His ears flicked softly as he did so, mind wandering.

As much as it could anyways.  Jiyu’s mental defenses had seemingly jumbled up his cracked memory even more than it already was.  He had tried reaching for vague visions he had before; fire surrounding him with something shiny in his grasp, bitter betrayal and anger in his heart, clear blue eyes staring at him with contempt, but he couldn’t find himself able to recall it with the ease he had before.  And everything else was empty, much like the emptiness he had found in Jiyu’s head.  Was he going to have to start from scratch?  Sephiroth snarled softly at the thought, gripping the dagger a little tighter.

”You cannot search for what you don’t know.  You don’t even know who you are, how can you expect to learn about somebody you don’t even know?”

The unfamiliar voice made Sephiroth drop his weapon and spin around to face the stranger.  Sitting in the doorway of his soon to be former den was a lean black leopard, with bright eyes swimming with knowledge and knowing.  But the feline was not all deep black fur, in fact they looked see-through, the Pharaoh able to see the ruins beyond the building right through the wildcat.  Something foreign ebbed off the being, but yet familiar at the same time.  Powerful energy flowed to Sephiroth, and words came to him without really knowing why.

”Spiritus.”  The Pharaoh said without much prompting.  He had felt the Aspects presence here before, and this one the one he had learned didn’t have a consistent form from creature to creature, so using the power of elimination he was able to pick out the deity easily enough.  The pale lion would lower his head slightly, he eyes remaining on the aspect.  ”Why have you come to me?”

The transparent panther gave the smallest of smiles as knowing glittered in their pale eyes.  ”I have come for what I said.  You have no idea of who you are, but search as if you know.  You need to start on your search before the memories fade entirely.  It will make you the leader that the Rosebloods need.”  Spiritus would rise up to their paws to approach quietly, and Sephiroth found himself instinctively tensing up.  Perhaps that was a part of himself buried inside his head that the aspect was talking about, and upon the realization the lion relaxed his muscles.

”Find yourself.  The Aspects will guide you and your clan towards their own realizations so long as we are pleased.”  Spiritus murmured, extending a see through black paw towards the lion as an offering.  Sephiroth would shift his gaze down towards it and move his own forepaw gently foreword to place it upon the aspects.  It was surprisingly solid but with no texture.  Until he found himself feeling something under his paw and he pulled back his limb.  Turning it over, Sephiroth found black feathers caught in his claws and between his toes, soft and familiar in his grasp.  His pupils dilated a tiny bit before he looked back to Spiritus.

They had vanished.  The words of the aspect echoed in his head as he observed the ebony black feathers in his paw, flexing them about in his grasp.  Sephiroth felt his mind lighten a small bit and some barriers fall.  He mentally thanked the Aspects for unlocking the gate somewhat to mind, simple and short of a conversation it was.  Surely their worship was well deserved at least on this end.  He could feel that this wouldn’t be the last time they manifested to him or his group in general.  If they helped like this, however small….he would welcome them into his clan openly.

(tldr!!!!!  Spiritus showed up to Sephiroth and gave him ~mysterious black feathers~ to help him realize his past and other cryptic shit, he likes the aspects more)

Re: and that was when i ruled the world / spiritus emerges + development - Jiyu Simul Stamus - 10-11-2018

Earlier she had been caught in a condition she much preferred those allied with her never found out about, but she couldn't take away what already transpired. Since he had left her side? The calico had filled her stomach, stashing the rest of the corpse deep within the ruins, a place only she knew about, so no one else could find her current food source. Luckily cats did not have to eat their weight every day, so one or two good kills could last her a decent time, the tom would hold her for at least another two days, and if she broke up feedings to every other day or two days, it would be the whole week before she needed to hunt. Of course, she would still hunt normal prey for the other members of the group and choke a sparrow down with them for good measure, wanting to use even more caution now that Sep knew. Even if he had promised not to tell anyone? He didn't have to directly tell another animal for it to be figured out if he had the wrong reactions, she needed to stock up on the illusion that kept others from even considering she may be a cannibal.

She had to return to those stone halls eventually, but it was not something she was looking forward to. Recently? She had even started searching for some way that she could get into the ruins without passing the water, but so far nothing seemed to be able to be found. This was why it sucked that her powers didn't work, she had to have possessed something in the past that could have helped with her current issue of no longer having any desire to traverse alongside the watery path. Eventually for some reason, she was able to pass even if had taken far longer than it did for anyone else in the group. As she was passing the water, Jiyu could have sworn she saw something, an old reflection of some ghost pass by her, but quickly as she believed her eyes had seen something it was gone. Sep may have been ready for the help of Spiritus, but it would be quite some time until the Aspect would be able to reach someone with such a shattered soul as hers.

Mismatched optics focused on the leader when she came across him while wandering the halls, silence emitting from her. Jiyu was never one for 'greetings' but her gaze did flicker to the feathers and back to his face.
