VORE OR VOTE — SUNHAVEN DISCUSSION - PINCHER - 10-08-2018 CAPTAIN PINCHER ROUX | resides in the typhoon and is the demigod of rough seas. he is a muscular dark gray panthera hybrid with frigid glacier blue eyes, marked with scars and glowing tattoos. he is the head of the roux family and is currently single. he is known for being a charming strategist with dark secrets. be cautious around him. —— ⚓ ❝ A MODERN GOD IN A TAILORED SUIT — WHO'S LIPS TASTE LIKE FORBIDDEN FRUIT ❞ Recently the drama that had been happening had actually been positive. It seemed the Ascendants had left a bad taste in Sunhaven with all the rough patches they have been having to the point of being dropped. Pincher had heard the gossip and had laughed, amused by how fucked the snobby bastards were. However, he had not expected to be now a possible candidate of an alliance to the Marina and her clan when she arrived to offer a possible alliance. He had been iffy at first about the thought, wondering if he should allow his trust to expand and offer his resources and envoys to another group than just Rosebloods. He was picky and iffy after the whole troubling situation with Snowbound but knew that he shouldn't let past experience taint future ones. Besides he was rather fond of Marina and Sunhaven, they seemed like decent folk that didn't judge the Typhoon for their warbound tactics and very peculiar way of behaving and working as a system. "Everyone gather the fuck up now!" Pincher called out with his voice breaking the soothing silence of sunset time. The sky above them had become a lovely mixture of oranges and pinks, the water surrounding them reflecting the sky as small specks in the sky began to poke out, the stars faintly glinting early as the sun begun to set at the line where the sky and sea met. Pincher stood outside the tavern with his round velvety jet black ears pricked for the footsteps of his crewmates arriving at his call as the demigod raised a paw to fix his feather earring as the wind softly blew around him. Going into a relaxed sitting position, the scarred blue eyed male cleared his throat before beginning. "Recently Sunhaven have come to us to request an alliance. Some information is that Sunhaven is a netural group, are allies with Snowbound and Tanglewood. Enemies are the Pitt, same enemy as us. Now, I want to know what you think we should decide on. If they become our new best buddies or we keep them as target practice. Vote and explain your reasoning." Pincher straightened his muscular lean figure as the male's cool facial features sharpened with concentration, a serious air now settling around him. ❝ THE TYPHOON — CAPTAIN — IMMORTAL — DEMIGOD — FATHER — THE HERMIT ❞
Re: VORE OR VOTE — SUNHAVEN DISCUSSION - FELIKS - 10-09-2018 [align=center][div style="text-align: justify; width: 60%; font-family: georgial; font-size: 11pt;"]"Fuck 'em. Last time Sunhaven were here, they were informed they'd have to impress you to be allies with you. Since then, they have done nothing of the sort and have waited months before pushing their luck again under a different leadership. If they've tried two times already, I don't see how this time is any different, clearly they don't intend on working hard for an alliance if they're sharing the same information as last time, only thing that's changed about the ordeal is that we've grown softer towards them. Why? I dunno, maybe our spine's drifted out to sea or something. The last thing I want is to have the weight of a bunch of fishmongers on my shoulders. If the clan's that split, just make 'em neutrals or something,". The clan truly was irreverent to him, what with it being a place that he'd never visited nor had any interactions with aside from one with the snooty tigress back in August. He approached with a stern looking expression, a hard being to please where politics was concerned. Understandably really, with a vast history of leadership and unreliable alliances, it was hard for him to justify treating these ones with dignity if they weren't willing to go the extra mile like suggested when he was a newcomer. Re: VORE OR VOTE — SUNHAVEN DISCUSSION - Grey - 10-10-2018 A twelve day break and Bakugou dives straight back into his least favourite activity, politics. He tries not to frown when he sees the Captain's rising form, calling them all to assemble before him like the 'soldiers' they all were. They were pirates, rather obedient pirates if anyone asked him. In many cases the group's loyalty to their leader was almost unwavering, an assortment of eyes all fixating and snapping towards Captain Pincher. The Reaver approaches in a deathly silence, gaze refusing to meet the frigidness of their leader when he sits down and listens, fur basking within the array of warm colours hitting his striped cream fur and warping the light appearance of his natural hues. Ironic how they're discussing Sunhaven whilst the sun sets, disappearing into the horizon to be swallowed by the rotations of their planet. "Well aren't they persistent?" he scowls to no one in particular, brain beginning to mutter unknowable words filled with poisonous vexations. His opinion still stands that he dislikes Sunhaven, mainly because of his embarrassing run-in with their late leader Quantum and being scolded by the Captain before her. It immediately put Sunhaven right into his bad books.
He was pleased, in fact, to hear Feliks disagree with the choice of allowing Sunhaven to become their allies. His eyes, however, immediately lock onto the griffon's form when he mentions something along the lines of The Typhoon getting softer - choosing in particular to associate their softness to an overall loss of aggression from The Typhoon rather than their feelings towards the merchant allegience. It was true and he frustratingly agreed to it. They were weaker than they had been before and allying with Sunhaven was their make-or-break. If they allowed it to happen, it would slow the number of raids against them due to now having more allies...but it also suggested they were afraid, unable to hold themselves. The Typhoon had always been capable of keeping themselves together. What had happened? Why had this happened? "I bet Sunhaven only wants to ally with us because of our reputation. As soon as we lose it, watch 'em drop us as well. I agree with Feliks bein' that they ain't doin' anythin' else to impress us - no gifts, no nothin'. They just keep naggin' and askin' that I may as well just keep refusin' them. My vote is a solid no." Re: VORE OR VOTE — SUNHAVEN DISCUSSION - Luca - 10-10-2018 Although Luca wasn't the fondest of the ocean, he had to admit that the sunsets were beautiful. He wandered aimlessly along the shoreline, missing the hiss of the tide as it came in contact with the smouldering pads of his paws. With his powers sealed away there was none of that, only the cold of ocean water and a subtle emptiness beneath his bones. He was already on his way to the tavern for a drink, so it was convenient that Pinch had chosen that time in particular to host a vote. The hellhound stepped closer to merge with the rest of the crowd as it gathered, bringing his wings close to his body and tilting his head at the captain. If brought up later, he would call the distance he'd put between himself and Bakugou unintentional. It was quite obviously not. He wasnt sure who could blame him though, no one liked looking at their mistakes. Instead of focusing on recent events he pricked his tattered ears and listened to Pincher's words, curling his glossy tail neatly around those dainty paws of his. Sunhaven again. Luca wasn't expecting to hear about them again so soon, but he wasn't annoyed by their persistence. If anything he found it endearing, cute.
It was no secret that Luca was perhaps a little too trusting. He had spent so much of his life drowning beneath his hate and his fear, so recently he'd been making an effort to be more open to people. Letting go of that paranoia was hard, but in Luca's eyes, it was so very worth it. Sure he still believed that people were inherently sinful and operated mostly out of self interest, but that didn't stop him from opening his heart to them. If they happened to stab it, well he could handle that. In some ways, a stab in the back was less painful than living in constant fear. Much like in horror movies, the worst part was always the suspense. Perhaps it was because of these beliefs that he couldn't bring himself to agree with his peers. He tapped his paws idly on the ground while he waited for the others to finish, only jumping in during the next lull in conversation. "I vote yes," he said, feeling a little proud of himself for being the first one. "Friends are fun to have for parties n' stuff, and if they turn out to be shitty we can just drop em' and raid em' to get our supplies back. It'll be fun," he said. "Besides, isn't trying them out and dropping them later better than shooing em' away and maybe mising out on a good ally?" It seemed like sound reasoning to him. "If you are set on some sort of alliance, a trail with them to see whether they are fairweather friends or not is the right way t go but likewise they've not offered much in the way of anything different from last time" he mused "And they will likely still hold a grudge with some of our members for previous actions and that tension might be annoying to deal with if they aren't genuine in trying to rebuild bridges so to speak" "Their own alliances might become problematic given their less hostile nature - the whole ascendants drama might be long lasting or fickle" invites to events where an enemy alliance might be was less than satisfactory. /tired af but i wrote this oof. "i um.. i agree, yeah! it's better to have too many friends then it is to have too many enemies. besides, all the events we could hold together, i'd love to get to know some of the sunhaveners - maybe they like the same things we do. maybe they'll trade me for a shiny charizard..." wandering off-topic, dusty gaze became aglow as the kitten steered their train of thought right back to the right tracks. "we should at least give the alliance a shot! and if it goes pear-shaped, then oh well, at least we tried. nothing ever gets done without ever trying." was that a good opinion? linux still felt too queasy to tell, pink hues looking to luca and feliks, hoping the older members would reassure the nervous child. Re: VORE OR VOTE — SUNHAVEN DISCUSSION - PINCHER - 10-12-2018 CAPTAIN PINCHER ROUX | resides in the typhoon and is the demigod of rough seas. he is a muscular dark gray panthera hybrid with frigid glacier blue eyes, marked with scars and glowing tattoos. he is the head of the roux family and is currently single. he is known for being a charming strategist with dark secrets. be cautious around him. —— ⚓ ❝ A MODERN GOD IN A TAILORED SUIT — WHO'S LIPS TASTE LIKE FORBIDDEN FRUIT ❞ Pincher listened to each side and what they were voting and discussing. He had to admit it was a bit understanding that they were right that Sunhaven wasn't exactly showing themselves at the best they could to appeal to the crew but the wildcat could somewhat understand why. "I don't go looking for alliances myself but if I did, I wouldn't be bringing any of my resources to a potential alliance taking it and then turning me down. Better to see one at its worst than raise someone's expectations only to demolish them in the future." Pincher stated with a slight flick of his tail as it curled around his paws as the powerful wildcat glanced towards Feliks and Bakugou, knowing they were the ones that held high standards for alliances and that people needed to work a lot harder to gain their respect. He could understand their perspective but at the same time, he was always one to be a bit down to earth to possible relationships even if he was a bit of a stuck up asshole as he did see his group as the most 'elite'. Cocky much? He guessed but the immortal held great pride in his group and their diverse mixture of minds and intellect. He tipped his head ever so slightly to the side at the commentary about trying out a trial alliance to test out the waters between Sunhaven and the Typhoon. He hummed softly as he listened to Luca, Lucifer, and Linux explain their statement. Lucifer appeared to be in the gray area of the discussion which he was somewhat thankful for but at the same time it was difficult to cut it cleanly especially now that it was equal on both sides. He let out a small snort at the Ascendants drama and rumbled "I wouldn't mind ganging up with Sunhaven to kick those Starfucks' asses but I don't want to be dragged into any unncessary drama." Especially if there was a risk of his crewmates being injured. He could understand the other group's frustrations about their members being killed by an Ascendants member which may or may not be the cause of Pincher but he remained silent on that. Despite the many leadership duties the captain already had, he always did have little 'projects' on the side in tearing his enemies apart. "It seems we have come to a tie. What we will do then is create a trial alliance for a week. If they don't keep up their side, we raid 'em and take back what's ours because we don't do neutrals." Pincher decided as he rose to his full standing position, the tattooed male raising a paw to flick off some sand that had clung to his lean form as the tattooed hybrid stated "I'll go to Sunhaven and give the news then."[b] [b]❝ THE TYPHOON — CAPTAIN — IMMORTAL — DEMIGOD — FATHER — THE HERMIT ❞
