WISH I COULD FIND A WAY TO RISE // o, meeting 10/8 - tristitia - 10-08-2018

Not much has been happening in the Realm, unfortunately. Well, she hoped it would keep the meeting short. Probably not though, they hadn't had an actual meeting in almost a month. Which meant that this was long overdue. It had been a while since she went up to the tree, but it was time to do so again. The wolf makes her way to the Lifting Tree, and digs her claws in as she steps onto the branch of it. It was a bit difficult, thanks to the lingering pain of some of the ghost attacks. She huffs, staring at the already gathering crowd. Still, she called out for those not here yet, "Those who call this Realm their home, gather beneath the Lifting Tree for a meeting!" Her voice tries to remain confident, though it falters a little bit.
The wolf clears her throat, gently stepping to the side. Then, she begins, "Samhain, or what some of you call, Halloween is quickly approaching, twi. Since we usually... erm, twi... have a celebration for that, we should start setting up for that. Making some new potions, cauldrons, and stuff to scare other groups who might be coming! It''l be twi'in fun!" She smiles.
"Next up... I want to welcome our two newcomers to the group. Please give Akira and Shuu some warm welcomes!" Though she was still smiling, she gave a stern look to some of the Recondites, in an attempt for them to be more welcoming. After all, there still a bit of an.. anti-non mage prejudice in some of these parts.
And now, to get new members involved in this. "Oh, and also do us a favor and check the mass adopts. We're hoping for new members. Oh, and if you can offer something for the mass adopts, please notify us of it here."
Next order of business? Right. Promotions. That kind of thing. "So... as of current, there will be only one promotion. Augustus, for Hylia's sake, you may... twi, blow everything up, twi. But, you have the twi-twi'in skills to be the Augur, twi. As for demotions, there.. well, twi, are none. However, Moonshadow, I would like to see you around a bit more, twi."
And then... their little issue. With those ghosts. "While apparitions, spirits, twi'in ghosts are common here... They usually are harmless. Twi, twi... This is not the cas anymore, as there are... twi, well, there are some that are of those who cast out the mages long ago. For Hylia's sake, watch yourselves as you go out. They might try to twi'in attack you. We can discuss about this soon. Besides that, the meeting is dismissed. See you all later, twi!"

It seemed Augustus would be the first to attend this meeting that Runicflare called. The mousy colored feline comes forth, freshly smoking from a recently failed experiment and plopped himself right before the woman. He listens idly to her speak, his mind occasionally wandering off to other things such as what he was going to eat for dinner if he had already blown up the interior of his home for the umpteenth time and whether or not people would stop fearing he'd blow up camp. August was completely responsible and he wouldn't dare dream of blowing his clan up! Though . . . he guessed he could be a bit more careful. Ah, well, what was done was done.
They seemed to have some new people join them, Akira and Shuu. They sounded nice ( or, well, their names did. He hasn't quite met them yet ) and he wonders what they're like. Maybe they would be more open towards his experiments than that of the native Recondites! Oh, yes, some new friends would be absolutely divine, wouldn't it? There were mass adopts that were happened - he had not a clue what that was about - and Runi soon moved onto promotions. Er . . . one promotion. He looked around him, wondering who Runicflare was going to promote, when she called his name, His name. Why? God knows. But then it's revealed - he was being promoted to Augur! And there was, of course, a mention of him blowing things up. He smiles sheepishly, idly fumbling with his seafoam green bowtie. "W-Well, thank you for the position, Runicflare! I'll be the best Augur there is!" He pledges with a confident nod of his head. "I'll only blow things up in the name of science. Say, I'm actually developing a potion for enhanced healing - I'd like to show you later!" He babbles and then begins quietly mumbling to himself about who-knows-what. Runicflare goes on to mention something about the ghosts and spirits that live within the territory the Realm did. Ah, well, Augustus would be fine for the most part. He usually stayed in his home anyway. But . . . with his new position, that might change. Oh boy.

Akira was still intrigued by to glow of the Lifting Tree and all strange things else on the Realm. It wasn’t until now that he’d witnessed anyone call for all of them at once. It was a meeting and the pink pelted feline forced his way to the front of the crowd as politely and inn the least distracting way as someone like Akira could. With a front row seat, he gazed with fiery eyes to watch Runicflare speak.
Halloween was approaching and he couldn’t help but smile. His old home had celebrated it and he was glad to see it a holiday in the Realm, too. As for when his name was called, Akira jumped to his feet and threw himself into a slim backflip to land again where he once stood,”Ta-da! Akira, that’s me!” It was a quick introduction and the announcements moved on. There was the promotion of the Augur to someone known as Augustus. Akira didn’t know much about the new Augur but perhaps they’d be in okay hands, right?
As for the mention of ghosts, the scarf-wearing boy fell silent. Ghosts were real? They were dangerous? Whaa—? He’d have to keep his eyes peeled for the undead.
