“I don't wanna be here no more I've fallen through the cracks in my floor I'm fading, don't hate me now I don't wanna be here no more” Shuu couldn’t forgive himself. He had completely lost control. He was the calm one, the cool one, and he had completely lost control. The sooty grey outline of his city was waning in the background. He was leaving tonight, for better or for worse. The alabaster tom kept praying he could return to his foundations – clear himself of what anger – possession – had come over him. He felt like he could still taste to acrid smoke in his mouth. Shuu ran away and traveled for days. The betrayer headed away from the light and into the darkness. Despite the fading light around him, Shuu felt a spark of determination in his belly. ”Let’s start with a bang.” Shuu could sense that others were nearby. This was a civilization albeit not similar to any the feline had seen before. The glowing crystals and mushrooms had guided him through the towering trees and darkness to this spot. Before him were mystical beings, a pair of shimmering trees. Shuu loomed closer to the senior tree, his red eyes fixated in wonder upon its iridescent branches. His mind was far away from his past for the first time since embarking on his personal journey. Coming to from his momentary stupor, the male glanced around the Recondite Realm’s center. He cleared his throat. ”Hello. My name is Shuu. I have come a long way. Who are you?” Already he could see a scarce number of creatures approaching from above. They leapt down from what appeared to be treehouses built high in the redwoods. None of the creatures appeared to show malice towards his presence and Shuu kept his calm features intact. This place could be his first stop. “It's so hazy, don't blame me now..” TAGS [sup] #stormspryzen[/sup] Re: i'm chasing, your fading out }} joiner; open - tristitia - 10-07-2018
Losing control was difficult for the female to not do. She had been burdened with the tasks of leadership, and somehow, they all passed down her older siblings and went to her, the youngest. It was... odd, to say the least. And yet, if she were leading, this would be the place were she would love to lead. It was her home, her civilization. She could not — would not dream of any other way of living. As such, it made sense when joiners appeared on their doorsteps, asking to come along. However, when people waltzed in... appearing not on their doorstep, but having opened the door, and walked into the house... well, she got nervous. I’m gonna need to find a way to step up security, the wolf thought, almost bitterly as she stepped down from her treehouse, before leaping down in front of the feline. A mix-matched gaze meets his and she tries to remain calm. Her tail snakes behind her as she replies coolly. "Twi... This is Recondite Realm, Shuu. Ah, twi-twi... why are you here?" //Mobile. Moonshadow was not a fan of strangers wandering into their camp without permission. Or at all, for that matter. What irked him even more was that he hadn't been completely aware of it until his sister was the one approaching the feline that stood by their trees. He hardly ever let himself become distracted, especially when he had a job to do. It could be a fatal mistake and he was only the tiniest bit thankful that this particular stranger did not seem to be immediately threatening anyone here. With a pit of anger slowly burning in his stomach, he stood from his spot and quickly made his way down from the bridges and houses. Standing beside Runicflare, the dire wolf towered over the both of them (but his younger sister was quickly catching up in height and he was afraid soon she might be able to actually push back). A plus was that if he really needed to, these strangers were easy to grab and rip to shreds. But, that was unethical and not a good first impression for the outsiders. As if he cared to impress them. Running his tongue over his teeth, he narrowed his eyes down at Shuu. "You have some nerve walking into our camp uninvited. Answer the question quickly before I throw you out." Shuu was watching the Recondites gather close by to him, but the pale tomcat was startled when Runicflare leapt directly in front of him. Despite her good job at hiding her agitation, Shuu felt like something was wrong. The air around the great tree had turned tense. The intruder met the large wolf’s golden eyes. She had not told him who she was but she had disclosed that this place he was in was called the Recondite Realm. It was clear now that this Recondite Realm was a type of society made up of creatures – similar to his old home. Why was he here? He considered the stranger’s question. It dawned on him that he may not have been allowed to be here. He might have been unwanted. The feeling was reinforced by the appearance of another, even larger, wolf creature. By the words spoken by the male, Shuu decided that it was best to speak to him in order to avoid harm. With red eyes meeting Moonshadow’s, the feline answered Runicflare’s question. ”I have been traveling. I left my old home. If I am not supposed to be here, then I am just passing through.” That would hopefully appease them. He had gotten a feeling that these folks were rather territorial. It was one of the many differences of this place and his old city home. No one had much cared who passed through or lived in his old home. In the Recondite Realm it was different. ”I had not meant to trespass. I am looking for a place to stay for a while. Erm, if you could point me to the nearest town or something?” TAGS [sup] #stormspryzen[/sup] |
