SOME PEOPLE GOT THE REAL PROBLEMS // ANNOUNCEMENT - buckingham barnes - 10-06-2018
Who would have thought that the outcome of asking for an apology would result with the end of an alliance. Long story short, Monroe and Bucky have been dealing with quite amount of shit lately from the Ascendants. Bucky was falsely accused of murder, and after clearing his name up with a lot of tension, things didn't get easier when it came to the apology. Insults were being thrown left and right. The half ass apology they received was like pulling teeth. With the treatment they received since the mess began, and how clear it was that the disrespect wasn't going to stop, Monroe and Bucky decided to drop the alliance. The maine coon came padding forward onto the boardwalk, ears pinned to his cranium. He went over to the fountain, standing before it with eyes gleaming with frustration. "Sunhaven, gather around for an announcement!" The Warden yowled out, with a swish of his bushy tail. "We are no longer allies with the Ascendants," He began with a flick of his tufted ear, his voice loud and clear. "Throughout the whole murder situation, the Ascendants treated me and Monroe with the out most disrespect," He explained with a small frown, "The Ascendants were not willing to show us respect as their ally. When my name was cleared, we had to force a half ass apology from their leader, Moonmade. They weren't willing to own up to their mistakes, and treated us like we were in the wrong." "The Ascendants are now neutral, they are to be barred from trading." He finished up with a sigh, light blue eyes blinking. SUNHAVEN DAWNGUARD BORDER COLLIE MEDIUM DIFFICULTY PLAYED BY KICKSIE Well, this sure was news, and it wasn't good news. No, it was very very bad. As Bucky explained the situation, the collie found herself scowling at the thought of an ally treating them like that. Weren't allies supposed to have trust in each other, and not turn their back on them and treat them badly? Clearly, the Ascendants never really was all that loyal and trusting in them. Bex knew very much what it was like to be blamed for things that she didn't even do or weren't even wrong, and so to hear about how the Ascendants were doing just that to some of her clanmates was enough to anger her. "Understood," she sighed, nodding as she quickly made a mental note to not be all buddy-buddy with anyone from the Ascendants. They weren't enemies though, at least not at this point, but Bex already decided that she didn't want much to do with them, even if they were neutrals. Something about the whole situation just seemed wrong to her.

Re: SOME PEOPLE GOT THE REAL PROBLEMS // ANNOUNCEMENT - GORDON CIPHER. - 10-08-2018 The whole Ascendants situation was confusion and stressful and these were one of those times Gordon hated being a high position because she was expected to know about and do something about these things. When, simply put, she couldn't. Despite being a Dawnguard, the she-cat was in no way shape or form a fighter and she had no intention of wanting to be one. The recent murder was proof of that, when she nearly vomited at the mere sight and smell of blood so she couldn't be a medic, either. At least she was liked here, though, right?
"Noted," Gordon squeaked out in response, somewhat relieved that this was the decision Buckingham and Marina came to. Despite The Ascendants being her former home, she felt much more at peace here in Sunhaven and honestly, with everything that has happened recently, she wasn't sure if she even wanted to go back or talk to Bastilleprisoner - or anyone she knew there, like Suiteheart or Margaery. What happened recently almost felt like betrayal to the young she-cat; she lived in The Ascendants and although Bast was a hot-headed individual sometimes, she never would have thought he'd be okay with something like this. Then again, Gordon thought to herself with a frown. He's not leader anymore. And she knew nothing about their new leader. Was anybody she knew still there? Perhaps it was better that she didn't know and assumed everyone she cared about was gone. ★ i am a lion born from things you cannot be ! ━
