There was only so much that she could think of, but each week she had discovered something new, thought of something new, and soon enough she had finally figured out what it was that she had - her power. Of course, it was always possible that she had a couple more lurking in there somewhere, but, for now, the female was fine with being able to do a few simple things. She had tried things with fire, water, even tried to summon clouds to get it so that she could have a large gust of wind, but, for some reason, it never occurred to her to try to create things that related to the earth itself. She had felt so dumb when she finally thought of it - the obviousness of it all - and soon enough she was able to make the ground shake. It was only a tiny bit. Only noticeable if you were looking for it, and she made some clovers, though it seemed as though she couldn't quite get the hang of getting it so they were all four-leaf clovers yet. It wasn't really much, honestly, and, later in life she would be able to do much more with her now small power, but to Vani, at this moment in time, it meant the world to her. Laz, for instance, had a pretty big something up his sleeve, and Gabe wasn't entirely certain he'd be much help on that front. Gabe's own something involved walking through shit by accident and getting stuck in the most ridiculous of places because his body thought it might be a perfect time to go intangible. Beyond that, there was nothing else, unless his ridiculous owl digestive system counted as a trick. Throwing up bones could be an interesting party favor, like putting out candles with a paw or maybe juggling a ball. His was a little less hygienic, but hey, he had to find a little bit of light in an act that was, frankly, disgusting. Gabe didn't care that it was necessary for keeping himself healthy and not-dead, and even less so lately, because he was starting to feel like he was a corpse walking, what with his truly impressive headache that made sleeping a very far off pipe dream. He should ask Peri about it, but...he didn't want to. The hybrid was content to wander around the territory and suffer. Honestly, the slight tremor beneath his feet and paws almost convinced Gabe he was losing his mind, until he saw a kid with an intense look of concentration and four-leaved clovers. Great. Another child with the ability to potentially fuck things up. What kind of sense of humor did the world have, passing power to the young ones? Gabe wasn't saying he wanted any, but it was a lot of responsibility for children. Dangerous, even, since the prepubescent ones liked their mood swings. "That tremor you?" [align=right][i]——INFO |
