flicker ♥♡ joiner - calliope - 10-04-2018

♥♡ Life always seemed to push and pull her different directions. Unable to fight back against the constantly changing tide of her life, she let herself drift wherever it wanted to take her. She was too weak to change anything, too scared to make her own choices. She'd been moved from place to place, never being able to get herself to stay. Perhaps that was just a part of the issue; even if she wanted to stay, she couldn't. One thing or another pushed her out, just to bring her somewhere else. It was a vicious cycle, but she blamed herself for never doing anything.

Although, she finally decided to try and cement herself somewhere. If she let life push her around forever, the cycle would never stop. After a couple days of thought, Mira finally decided on joining Sun Haven. From what she heard, the place was rather peaceful, at least more peaceful than the previous few groups she joined. Maybe she'd finally find a place that didn't stress her out.

Eventually, she had finally found herself at the border. It took a whole lot of work to make it there, but she honestly was prepared for that. Truth be told, the hardest part for her would have to be joining. What if they didn't want her? What if it just turned out like everything else did? Nervous thoughts and what-ifs kept swarming around her mind until she finally silenced them with her own words.

"H-hello? I'd like to join!" she called out. There was no turning back now. Her anxiousness still gnawed at her, threatening to explode at any second. She pushed everything back the best she could, though. After all, she didn't want too look weak in front of everyone else.

[align=center][div style="borderwidth; width: 400px; text-align: justify; font-family: arial; font-size: 9pt;"]The weak will to take ones own destiny never helps anyone in the end and sometimes forcing the desired outcome had to happen. The immortal had her own life in control. Where she would go and when she would go to moment she left like going. Nobody can tell or make her do otherwise. Even if they did, the sense of adventure flows through her veins and makes the littlest of things thrilling in a way.

As of late, the newest member of Sunhaven was starting her usual rounds of mapping the territory out and observing those she's coming to call companions. Excitement was a constant spark to ignite the immortal's bones to discover something new with each day and had her focus on the boundaries of the location today. Pointed ears swiveling in one direction as sharp hazel eyes pick up the aura of someone not too far from her, and near the border without moving past it, giving some indication that someone wants something.

And want something indeed as DXCIII draws closer to pick up the words of desiring to come apart of the clan. Head sweeps from side to side in search of others nearby and when no one else appears to be close, the mocha hued savannah approaches the uniquely hued serval. Muscles relax to show a calm posture, noting the nervous energy and stance the newcomer is displaying.

"'ey. We'd love it if ya join. 'm DXCIII, fresh outta the fresh– well, aside from ya." Deep, raspy words filter out of the feline's mouth with a gentle smile across umber lips. "What's ya name, melitse?"

♥♡ Shortly after her call, someone else had arrived. It was rather standard stuff, actually; Mira never knew why she expected something bad to happen, but she just couldn't stop herself. No matter how good things would turn out, she couldn't be too careful. Although, the serval seemed to relax a bit upon her welcomer's tone. She seemed nice enough, clearly contrasting the worries she had earlier.

"Ah, well. Nice to meet you," she greeted her. Her voice was a bit shaky; despite having calmed down a bit, she wasn't fully relaxed. "M-my name's Mirabella," she added on, "But you can just call me Mira." It was easier to remember for everyone, anyway. She didn't really want anyone to struggle with her name, after all.

They held no want to control the course of their life for there proved no excitement within such, allowing each event which rose to greet them to be fit within a strict set of rules, enough so there was little to surprise. No, they cared not for such things, given the choice much preferring a life where they might deal with what came with calm grace, though things had turned sour all too quickly as they grew overwhelmed.

Indeed it might have been useful to control their own life to some degree, permitted to see events before they arose and thus put an end to those that offered nothing of value. Might it have been such an end that found them if they had thought a bit ahead, continuing to breath and con the men and women who sought to bring them down, laughing behind their backs as they continued their work. Yet there had been no warning, moments to prepare before they were forced to look down the barrel of a gun, waiting for the moment their life was to end.

Paw rose, found the scars decorating their chest. Each was circular, not perfect but close, fanning out in an almost star like fashion, five in total. They knew two matching were present low on the back, exit wounds they had made note of quickly, speaking of their end. Voices rose, breaking the gentle lull of their own thoughts, fictional brow quirking as both proved unfamiliar to them. Interest rose as they firmly placed their paws, lifting slight weight and taking a slow, easy pace.

The two before them were strangers indeed, larger then the small stature the fox boasted, but such proved easy, coloured oddly for their species, the same as far as they might tell. “Hello Mirabella,” soft tone rose, curling about a short chuckle as Esma drew closer, attention touching upon DXCIII only briefly before it found the one they spoke to once more. Making a clear point of using her full name they looked upon her with warm eyes though the smile about their lips never reached them, lacking the genuine friendliness their relaxed posture spoke of. “I am rather new myself but if you wish I might give you a tour, show you some of the landmarks so you might be better acquainted with the land.”
