BEATING HEART OF STONE // takeover & meeting - hana. - 10-02-2018 [align=center][div style="borderwidth=0px; width: 55%; text-align: justify;"]넌 불 보듯이 뻔해 ♡ - These deserts were not welcoming. But they were her home now. Her home, and her followers. Oh yes, this would be the spectacle. The unknown felidae would pad down the winding natural halls of sandstone, a massive trailing behind her obediently. This room was meant to be a throne room, natural light filtering in from a single hole above that filtered down to a simple chair up a short flight of stairs. Too simple for her tastes. That could be changed, of course, but for now she actually had to announce herself. The chocolate and white feline had caught a few eyes on her approach, but otherwise arrived uncontested. That wasn't surprising, unfortunately, given how small this group was. That was okay, however: all the more room to grow. To build an empire from dust. Quite literally, Nanohana noted with a soft cough as her dragon companion's large form disturbed resting sediment. Ivory paws ascended the short stairs and hopped onto the chair, turning to face the wide open chamber within the earth as her thick tail curled neatly around her. Miso took his place behind the chair, scaled body settled into a low crouch behind her as his head hovered at the right side of her chair. "ROSEBLOODS!" Nanohana called, reveling in the way her voice echoed so powerfully from the walls. Miso answered her with his own bellow, rumbling the stone surrounding her as the massive dragon screamed. Hana's lips curled into a half-smile, cocky and self-assured. Her voice alone would not be enough to make them gather, she knew - but the threatening shriek of the dragon might call them over. And if they didn't arrive, well, they could always be punished for it. "Gather." Her voice was no longer an attention-seeking call but a demand. A few faces gathered, but it was enough for Nanohana. They seemed clearly confused - distrusting, even. They had every right to not trust her, of course. But disobedience would not be excused so easily, and they would come to understand that. By force, if need be. "Prestige is dead." She announced, lifting a paw to wave it lazily in front of her as if to lighten her words. "His amount of fur made him less than a pleasant snack." Not for her, of course, and it did not take the sharpest of minds to decipher that from her words as Nanohana's copper gaze slid over to her albino companion. Smoke rose from the dragon's nose, a growl curdling in this throat to echo through the room. "Nevertheless," her gaze returned to the crowd, small grin growing to a full smile. "My name is Nanohana, and this is Miso. 알다?" Ironic, that they would not understand Korean. If Hana's sense of humor wasn't so shallow she would have enjoyed it herself. "I am your new Pharoah." What a powerful title. She liked it. "If you disagree with me taking over, that can be discussed," with her emphasis on 'discuss', she slid her gaze back toward Miso as the dragon's jaws parted on que, smoke pouring between sharp teeth to rise up through the one hole in the overhead stone. The Oriental mixbreed feline paused to lean over and pull a white shred of fur from between Miso's teeth, tossing it to the floor before her with a scoff. Too much fur indeed. "With that out of the way, let's discuss some important shit now, yeah? Allies and high positions. Let's see here.... I don't know any of you. Introduce yourselves to me - I did the courtesy of introducing myself, so do the same." She wouldn't make them, of course - she had better things to do. But it would certainly make her new job easier. "The Typhoon and Tanglewood are our allies, huh? Guess we'll pay them a visit and see if they're actually worth it. Anyone want to go along, or would you rather stay home and take in all this new shit?" /hey guys!! emil wanted to step down from leader because of school, but couldnt find the right match for the rosebloods so we agreed to do a staff takeover until we decide on a new leader! their stepping down thread is here. there are no demotions and no promotions this week as i get my bearings - meetings will be weekly, likely on sunday. i will be making threads of nanohana visiting the typhoon and tanglewood soon and you're welcome to have your roseblood character attend! i will also be making discussion threads in the ooc board, the help den, and i will be revamping the discord shortly. if you have any questions or concerns, dont be afraid to message me on my main [member=110]susitna[/member], dm me on discord (susitna#4772), or contact another member of staff! The smell in the air and the stillness of it, it crawled along his pelt and bit at his mind. The pale lion would slip from the shadows of the ruins, legs carrying him along towards the newness that called him to attention. His eyes caught sight of the…stranger. Her scent was foreign, the beast at her command, everything about her made his cells boil and growl soundlessly. He approached the throne room and listened to her speak, standing and not sitting as he listened to her. Sephiroth’s eyes were sharp and unsaid emotion burned behind them; the silver beast was suspicious. But she was Pharoah, and that reptilian pet of hers didn’t look like an opponent even he could fight by himself with physical force alone. And she commanded him now, and he was forced to bend the knee.”Sephiroth. Guard.” The silver maned lion would introduce himself, deep baritone echoing throughout the chamber. He was a creature with immense power in his veins, contained violence underneath his pelt. Sephiroth’s form was rigged and hard muscle was rippling underneath his body as he cast his unblinking eyes on Nanohana, any displeasure or any form of emotion not visible on his face. ”I am at your command. I will accompany you to the Tanglewood would you have me.” He figured playing nice and following orders would be beneficial for now. Not like he had any other purpose here, purpose he was trying to find through his own broken up memories. Any purpose was better then none. Re: BEATING HEART OF STONE // takeover & meeting - Jiyu Simul Stamus - 10-02-2018 Revenge was something that long had been a factor in her behavior, she was spiteful without her emotions, an eye for an eye because she lacked the sympathy that stopped others from behaving that way. Whatever she found done to her group? Eventually she was going to do the same or worse to whomever had done it, but most of the time she simply instantly lashed out. The calico had never particularly had reasons to hold back, even without protection by circumstance for her behavior, she would simply lash out, nothing stopped her she knew what sort of beast she was and nothing had ever been able to change that monster. Until someone decided to force her from what she had always been, change things against her will in a way she could not refuse. Becoming a Monarch was different from the normal evolution of time that caused those around her to vanish, it was progress, a kind she never asked for and was far from comfortable with. The change even small as it was, changed something essential to the stoic. Her claws stayed sheathed against who she was before because she truly had no idea who she was without the duties of a guard. Everyone was missing the part where this chick admitted to letting a dragon eat Prestige, such cowards, they should be attacking this imposter. Yet, her loyalty lie with the guard, the raptor, everyone else here, the place she spent her entire life since liberation protecting even at the cost of her own life several times. Jiyu had no hesitation as she climbed the stairs to stand right in front of the other female sitting upon a throne that truly belonged to neither of them. Nona had not earned anything of loyalty or obedience from the group and the calico herself was unsuited to even the altered type of power she currently had. Mismatched optics looked at the dragon, than back at Nona, nothing of fear, not a trace of anger, absolute emptiness in her gaze. This false proclaimer was nothing, and she would continue to be nothing unless she could prove herself. Yet, she had openly stated an alliance to the Rosebloods, so the stoic presumed that she should at least treat this false queen as a fellow rose. "Jiyu Simul Stamus, Monarch of Warfare. Since you publicly stated your alliance to our group by taking on the role of Pharaoh, discussion as you suggest it won't be necessary with me unless you attempt to harm our fellow roses, or lead them to ruin." at which point it would take an army of dragons to stop her from ending the life of that miserable fake who had taken the throne so suddenly. Jiyu had no fear in stating she only was not ripping Nona's throat out because of her new alliance to the group, nor that such could change any moment she believed the other's were in danger. Thanks to prestige she was not just some dog on a leash, and now it was Nona who would have to deal with that change. "You couldn't stop me from coming with even if you had Miso eat me." at the very least it was still partially her job to keep the leader safe, no matter how fake they were, a leader was necessary in some form. Until somehow someone more true would rise to take that position the pretender. Until that point, Jiyu would do what kept everyone safe and struggle to figure out what she was supposed to do with her life without the role of guard. Re: BEATING HEART OF STONE // takeover & meeting - miss ririchiyo - 10-02-2018 LUCERYS VELARYON male | 19 months | the rosebloods | member "Lucerys Velaryon. I'm merely a member here, but I cut through fire to save my sister and other clanmates. What are your intentions with our group?" Lucerys spoke up, the large griffin walking over with his head held high. His sister had been absent, but he wasn't budging from the Rosebloods now that he had healed and the hair on his back legs had grown back. Royal red feathers outstretched themselves as massive wings unfolded, golden eyes narrowing at the new Pharoah. If the dragon wanted a go at him, he'd take an eye or two. A blind dragon was a useless one.
"I won't obey a Pharoah who wants nothing but a terrible future for us." He chirped, his beak snapping shut with a loud snap as he stated the words bravely. He wouldn't obey a tyrant. Re: BEATING HEART OF STONE // takeover & meeting - hana. - 10-04-2018 [align=center][div style="borderwidth=0px; width: 55%; text-align: justify;"]넌 불 보듯이 뻔해 ♡ - Well, this was much easier than Nanohana was expecting it to be. Their distrust was excruciatingly apparent, but not unexpected. What was unexpected was their total lack of fight. It was kind of disappointing, really - it left her with no challenge to overcome within the group itself. She - or rather, Miso - could take any of them individually and emerge without a scratch on his thick scales. But there was power in numbers not even a dragon could counter - they knew that, Nanohana knew this, yet there was no struggle. Perhaps it was lack of heart, lack of loyalty to their own group. More likely, however, was the fact it'd be more beneficial for them to simply observe what would happen and see if it would work in their favor. It was clear Prestige would not be making a return (soon, at least, as death had little meaning on this earth) so they might as well hedge their bets with the obnoxious one that stepped forward. Until it stopped benefiting them. Ah, so forcibly taking control of this group would certainly prove more interesting than Nanohana had initially considered. The first to introduce themselves was Sephiroth. Wow, okay, she adored the name - yet he hardly seemed the villain his name alluded to. A Guard, hm? In hindsight, Nanohana had no fucking idea what the different ranks were below Vizier. Guard sounded relatively important, at the least. And we wanted to accompany her to Tanglewood - wonderful. It meant she couldn't travel by dragonflight, which would make the trip considerably slower, but at least she could get a good feel for those she now called her subordinates. "Wonderful," the Oriental mixbreed spoke her thoughts with a smile, sliding her gaze off of Sephiroth as another voice rose. The next to speak was a raptor, slightly shorter than Miso but not as broad. They did not introduce themselves - they must not have been important, then - but they did bear important information. Nanohana hummed in acknowledgement, earthen head tilting to the side as she listened to the words exchanged. The Typhoon had hosted her, even if only overnight, and Nanohana would not be quick to dismiss that kindness. From what she knew of Tanglewood, however, they were a quiet group. Much more reclusive than their brutal history entailed. It was likely they wouldn't worth her time, either - but she did not want to drop any allies quite yet. Jiyu and Lucerys spoke similar concerns, one much more heartily than the other. The small calico introduced herself as the Monarch of Warfare, another powerful title that Nanohana enjoyed quite a bit. Monarch, exquisitely feminine with none of the weakness associated with such. Jiyu was also the most genuine out of the bunch, an ironic turn of events given her lack of expression. She did not hide her truth behind candied words - her premise was simple, that Nanohana would have her loyalty if she proved worthy to truly take the title of Pharaoh of the Rosebloods rather than little more than a usurper. Exactly as she had predicted earlier. "I don't intend on harming the Rosebloods, 햇빛," Nanohana affirmed with another lazy wave of her paw, gaze slowly sliding toward Lucerys to address both their statements. "I would say replacing your weak link is protecting you all, is it not?" Lucerys Velaryon, an odd name. He seemed much less keen of her than the others, but that hardly mattered. With that out of the way, "I'll be going to Tanglewood and the Typhoon with those that volunteered, then. Sephiroth and Jiyu to Tanglewood, and Jiyu, I'm assuming you would like to come with me to the Typhoon as well? It's really hot, but their sands are nice underpaw rather than cooking you. Oh, and they don't have an excessive amount of deadly snakes, so hey, that's nice." Was there something she was forgetting? "Oh, ambassadors - did you guys already have some? Ah, well if so, they're demoted or whatever from that. We'll get someone I find more fit, alongside myself. Kinda hard to plan shit if the highest power isn't involved." "Cool! Meeting dismissed, I suppose. Jiyu, Sephiroth, you guys ready?" Re: BEATING HEART OF STONE // takeover & meeting - Jiyu Simul Stamus - 10-04-2018 A rash child who only knew how to pretend to be the princess, that was starting to seem like a proper way to consider this new comer. Of course, she had seen such creatures turned into admirable rulers and high power before, so that was not an immediate reason to dismiss the domestic feline. Nanohana was quick to do anything, which could sometimes have consequences, the war seasoned older feline knew that all too well. However, there was a balance in differing personalities within High Power so long as respect was present, so this could turn out to be a good thing. "Coming." a simple monotone word as the large calico descended the steps behind the small domestic, keeping her steps slow so she didn't go ahead of the other female. |
