JUST ANOTHER DAY | private, bucky - REBECCA MACK - 09-28-2018

SUNHAVEN FEMALE BORDER COLLIE MEDIUM DIFFICULTY PLAYED BY KICKSIE Bex was a mess.

One moment she was sleeping the day away, and then the next? Trying to decorate her home to the best of her ability. It was really empty as she hadn't done much with it, and needed some spicing up. So of course, she had this brilliant plan to bring in some plants as decor. While to most it would seem like a decent idea, in Bex's case, it was a disastrous decision. Or at least, bad enough for her to not have a clue as to what she was actually doing. She had never been great at caring for plants, and usually ended up accidentally killing them all. She was living an entirely new life now and no longer could rely on her favorite plant lovers to help revive the plants which she annihilated. This wasn't a case of plant murdering, though. Not this time. Bex had very little knowledge of plants, she just liked to pick out what looked good to her. And well, long story short, the canine had managed to convince herself into believing that she may have accidentally touched poison ivy. Little did she know that it was in fact not poison ivy, despite looking rather similar to it, but her mind was now concerned over it a little too much to even think of alternatives. Instead she was now worried about acquiring itchy paw pads because she was stupid enough to touch things when she didn't even know what they were. How could she be so careless? Not knowing what to do, the collie quickly bounded up to the first house she saw, which happened to be Bucky's. Hey, he was pretty smart, right? He didn't really seem like the type to know much about plants, but at this point Bex knew it was worth a try. "Hey, Bucky!" Bex called as she bursted through his door, Holding up the leaves of the plant which she still held onto. "I don't know if you know the answer to this, but I ended up touching this plant and I just needed to know if it was poisonous or not? Because if it is then we have a serious problem here." She sure hoped that she wasn't intruding during a time of importance, but this was an emergency. How Bex even managed to keep herself alive was a mystery. Living off tons of junk food and making impulsive decisions was practically a lifestyle for her, and it was a dangerous one. Touching an unknown plant was only a minor mistake, however. She had made many mistakes that were much more severe than this, but this was a mistake that she still found herself regretting, even if it was small. The last thing Bucky wanted right now was company. He wanted to be completely alone, hide under the covers of his bed and hold onto his teddy bear. As after realizing he relapsed into the Winter Soldier, how would he not isolate himself from others? If Bucky was thinking straight, he'd know isolation wasn't the way to handle this. But he couldn't help it but feel like a ticking time bomb- like the Asset could take over any moment. He'd just need the little push to shove him over the edge- he can't risk it! Only Marina has faced the Asset, and he already feels like he's a danger to the rest! The male was curled up on his mattress, holding onto a soft, comforting teddy bear. Not expecting any visitors, half of the male's face was covered by the stuffed animal, eyes tightly closed. And then, his ears instantly pricked up at his door opening. It only took him a few milliseconds for the former assassin to get up, shove his teddy bear under his pillow, and eye his 'intruder'. He didn't even get to shake his fur back to normal, the right side of his face sporting a bed head look. He blinked a few times as Bex approached him, that 'intruder' quickly turning into 'someone not minding their own business'. Bex certainly seemed to have something on her mind as she rushed over, she seemed more concerned about her leaves than Bucky's unstable head. It was almost like she didn't care about her safety- what if she startled him into the Soldier? Any concerns she held regarding the 'poison ivy' would have faded away with her life. For a moment, Bucky looked over at Bex, at a loss of words. How the hell was he suppose to know if the plant she's holding is poisonous or not? And if it potentially was, then why would she grab it again? And bring it into his damn boathouse? Bucky was no medic. The last time he tried to be a medic, he accidentally killed his parents. He'll never trust himself with herbs again, especially if it involves someone's life. "How the hell am I suppose to know?" He snapped at her, ears flattening to his skull. "Go ask someone else with medical knowledge! And keep that away from me," The former assassin meowed, as he attempted to shove Bex away with his metal paw, not taking any chances. SUNHAVEN DAWNGUARD BORDER COLLIE MEDIUM DIFFICULTY PLAYED BY KICKSIE To be fair, Bex had no idea about what Bucky had been going through, or at least that's the sort of excuse she would use to justify that it was just fine for her to burst into his house uninvited. As soon as the collie entered, she noticed Bucky scramble to quickly hide... something, and then looked at her as if she had been planning to murder him. Oh no, Bex knew that look. That was the same sort of disapproving look that her mother always used to give her, sometimes on a daily basis. Then he even began to sound like her, snapping at her and demanding her to keep the unknown plant away from him. Well, this entire situation was even worse than Bex could imagine. All she wanted was for someone to help her, but instead she got scolded as if she were a child.

After having been shoved away by Bucky's metal paw, Bex shook her fur and dropped the leaves on the floor. "Fine," she grunted, resisting the urge to roll her eyes. Yes, she was irresponsible, and didn't always make the best decisions nor liked to follow orders, but she was most definitely not bratty. "But if you are so worried about getting poisoned too, then why did you risk touching me with that paw of yours?" She'd inquire, tilting her head. Ha, who was the one that was not so worried about their own safety now? |
