GLOBAL OFFENSIVE - private; s/hp meeting - rhosmari - 09-25-2018 MONROE MALE — SUNHAVEN — HELION — HARD He hadn't had one of these before and so he figured now was a good time to have it. Despite his home smelling of fish because of the harbor he lived directly by he figured it was still a good place to have these meetings. His large aquarium stood at the back of his living room, fish moving through the clear warm waters that allowed them to thrive. He hadn't been swimming himself in such a long time that he felt like his skin was chaffing. But since that day in the Typhoon he'd just felt cold and worn. But that didn't stop him from doing the things he needed to do. Right now he had sandwiches set up on his table for his ranked members and he hoped that they would all come and contribute ideas. The Foundation festival was at a standstill because there were no sign ups for booths and games. He wanted to do something to commemorate the passing of leaders as well but he supposed that would wait till one of these events that was long overdue came forth and into play. The helion settled down on the rug, curling his paws underneath himself as he looked at the open door to his home. The atmosphere was warm and inviting and he held a small smile upon his muzzle despite how weary he was. Re: GLOBAL OFFENSIVE - private; s/hp meeting - miss ririchiyo - 09-25-2018 Track! Re: GLOBAL OFFENSIVE - private; s/hp meeting - GORDON CIPHER. - 09-25-2018 It didn't take long for Gordon to arrive, mostly because she worried about being late. That wasn't anything new of course, but still, she liked to be on time and be able to contribute as much as she could to things such as this. While she's never been to a semi/high position meeting before, she knew of them back when she was a Starstruck Guardian in The Ascendants. She had stepped down before Bastilleprisoner held one, but if he had, she likely would have tried her best to be on time there as well.
"H-hey, Monroe!" Gordon squeaked out as she came into the Helion's house, her gaze flickering around the room to see if anybody else arrived yet. It seemed like she was the only one so far, which was reassuring. The she-cat took a seat next to the leader, blinking up at him expectantly. ★ i am a lion born from things you cannot be ! ━
Re: GLOBAL OFFENSIVE - private; s/hp meeting - toboggan - 09-25-2018 To be frank, holding a higher position, even if it wasn’t of too much value like his current stance as a hearthkeeper, was never in his intentions. Responsibilities were not a backing factor in this distaste. Where Wendell was concerned, it involved the distinction placed upon his sweaty nape, and how it differed the incomplex mustelid from the rest of Sunhaven. A glimmer in his bister hues posed that the perfect life for him was allowing others to direct the play, and have himself be the audience. Taking up the role of stagehand, someone behind the scenes, pulling on the strings, was never in his intentions, nor were they inhabiting his wildest dreams. Relaxation and absorbing every ounce of pleasure that life grants you was the way to go; though, if Monroe discerned something from him, saw a shine of promise, then perhaps it was up to the Brit to comply. There was always the choice of multitasking, sopping up joy from the activities required of him in this guise of a superior. Though would he truly be satisfied when his destiny was to only look at a sunset and smile with a drink in his hand?
Only time may explain. A brown limb cautiously minced into his gaffer’s abode, his lip being bitten, oval ears perked out of awe. Fish, loads of those numpties skinny-dipping in an enclosed area. Wendell’d be lucky if his innards didn’t groan at the sheer sight of them. Oh, how he adored their taste - most exotic dishes involved that certain oceany flavour that the meat is notorious for. Yet, even something as hackneyed as fish ‘n chips were enough to sate a craving for some worthwhile seafood, no matter how common that specific meal had become in households across the globe. Wait, did Monroe take offence to the consumption of aquatic animals? He was part shark, after all... "’Ello, ‘ello, Monroe!" he’d greet heartily, the thought of food allowing him to ascend the discomfort of being in a meeting like this - it wasn’t Monroe’s kin he was eyeballing anymore, then sandwiches in the corner there appeared plenty appetizing. He’d unleash himself on those later, for now glaring at the Helion with curiosity, unsure of the meaning behind his summoning. The last few days have been tiring, to say the least. The problem with the Ascendants were finally coming to a close, but that wasn't the end to the maine coon's problems. It only opened another door to worse possibilities, which left him feeling distraught. He felt uneasy, nervous that something else would trigger the Asset- which is the worst of his nightmares. He was lucky back at the Ascendants when Monroe intervened- Monroe and the Ascendants had no clue how bad that could have turned out. Sunhaven doesn't even know the danger they can be in with him. It's like he's a ticking time bomb, who knows what will trigger the Soldier again. Who knows what it will do, lives it will destroy. Bucky shoved the thought away as he entered the home after Wendell, his gaze landing on Monroe. He couldn't let his worries get in the way of him, he wouldn't allow it. A sigh escaping his lips, he sat himself down as he gave a nod in greeting, not speaking up. His ears were pricked, waiting for Monroe to begin speaking. Re: GLOBAL OFFENSIVE - private; s/hp meeting - Owlie - 09-25-2018 EDWARD NYGMA WHAT AM I? Edward still wasn't entirely sure why he had been promoted this high- he'd been around, but he hadn't done anything worth promotion. He... didn't cheat to this position. Had he earned it somehow without knowing? Why was he worth this note? He was a genius but he hadn't fully proved himself to them, yet. "Will you just shut up and accept it?" He was fine with it... just not proud of it. Maybe he would confront Monroe about it. He walked into the room on his hind legs, wearing his shirt and tiny tie. His outfit was still a progress- anything to appear human. "Hey everyone-" He paused and the smirk dropped from his face. Think of one. "I assemble, but I'm still of seprate parts. What am I?" "Now that's a stupid one, Ed." The petite sand cat slowly trotted inside, tail flicking behind her. Her distinct blue eyes flickering with absent thought. Perhaps it was just one of those days, mind locked in the now faraway place of her past. She never amounted to anything over there... Just trouble. She dragged her paws, then set to shifting them thoughtfully as she took a seat among the rest. Her ears twitch, noting the voices of everyone around her, but only inclining her head in greeting. Tena would surely open her mouth in a few moments. Inevitably. In time. She glanced, quizzically, towards Edward, but offered no answer, brow furrowing. He seemed to just always open with a riddle. Maybe Monroe would have a go at it before beginning. Could Pierce solve it? Probably, as he’d practically been raised on riddles, both ones invented by Riddlersgame and ones from his books; his brain had been taught to work that way since the age of just five months. Lately, in Riddler’s sudden absence, he’d found himself tempted to babble out riddles in answer to questions, or just out of the blue. It was impulse now, and a lot of the time, though it was mostly at home, thank god, he’d found himself asking them compulsively. It was almosy frightening, and he tried to avoid it to the best of his ability, as it only reminded him that as much as he tried to act like it, he wasn’t quite normal, and that no matter what he did, Riddlersgame would always follow him, if not in physical form, then within Pierce himself. Ears pinning back to his head, the Goldenblood tried his best not to listen to Edward’s riddle, instead speaking up as he decided on a place to sit, "Heya, Monroe!" A kind smile adorned freckled features as he settled a bit more into his seat, tail curling around his paws. "speech" space

SUNHAVEN FEMALE BORDER COLLIE MEDIUM DIFFICULTY PLAYED BY KICKSIE Bex was not the most punctual thing ever, but she was lucky to have at least arrived here before they got to discussing matters. The canine moved forward after Pierce had arrived, and seated herself down, smiling in greeting as she glanced around the room at everyone. Well, this was an entirely new atmosphere that the newly promoted hearthkeeper was in. She was among the higher ups now, and it felt... different. But it was a good different. "Yo," she spoke, her gaze soon finding the table which held sandwiches, and that's when she felt her stomach grumble. Wow, she was hungry... but when was she not? For now though, she kept quiet about her hunger, knowing it'd probably be a good idea to wait for permission to take food, just in case, no matter how badly she wanted it.

|
