Immortal's attempts at finding a light continuously came up with absolutely nothing and a mild disappointment. He tried to be nonchalant about the search like he was just trying wandering around with no destination in mind. He just had to look like he wasn't looking for something. Otherwise, someone might ask questions and Immortal wasn't totally against questions, but there were somethings he didn't know if he could explain. It was rather easy to do when he was walking past empty rooms in the underground complex. He peeked inside one room, which had a few interesting objects, but not what he was looking for. He almost left when he spotted a box in his peripheral. He stopped dead in his tracks, tail tip twitching. It was a box. He was a cat. In an instant, the serval bolted and leaped into the box, nearly knocking it over. He'd kicked up dust when he did that and it made him sneeze several times, shaking the box. When he saw the cardboard sides had tabs punched out for easy lifting, he had an idea and perked up. He hoped no one heard his sneezing because that would ruin his next idea. Hopping out, he grabbed the side in his mouth and backed out into the hall. Kicking it over so the open end was on the floor, he used his muzzle to nose his way under it. Then, carefully crouching and watching through the punched out tab, he waited for someone to walk by.

So, he tended to keep his guard up when around the older male, and typically scanned the area whenever he realized he was nearby. As the bengal headed towards Imm's aura, bored, he came to a stop when he realized the aura he was tracking from the other side of the room was radiating from a box, which was... interesting. Arching a brow, Bastille sat down where he was (read as: a safe distance away), and decided to wait to see what this idiot was up to now. (It was a fond term. Sort of.) |
