remember me, love / MEETING 9.19 - emil - 09-19-2018 [align=center][div style="width: 500px; padding: 10px; height: auto; overflow: auto;"][div style="width: 400px; padding: 0px; line-height: 14px; text-align: justify; font-family: arial;"]the journey to this new place had been long and exhausting; though it had been several days since they'd arrived here and made their home in ruins settled beneath the desert, many members, including prestige, had simply taken the time to rest and regain their strength. those who were not too tired were tasked with hunting, stocking up their food, and eliminating threats within the canyon's rainforest. thankfully there were not many within the walls, though out within the desert, beneath a looming storm, monsters of serpents lurked in the wastes. a bit of an ominous thing, a fear that began to make itself at home in the pharaoh's belly of what could become of the rosebloods if they were not kept at bay; he would need to start thinking of ways to keep the beasts back. it was far past due time for a meeting. with everything that had happened to them, prestige had not the time to keep track of everything, and a meeting had been the very last thing on his mind as of late. however with them finally settling in, learning the maze that this temple was, he could finally get to it. the snow leopard padded slowly through the dimly lit hallways, lumbering from the secluded little building behind the ruins to the temple. large paws left prints in the dust and sand that littered the passages as he went along, turning a corner, and finally slipping into the wide open room that seemed to have once been a room fit for a throne. he had found it during an idle walk through the temple, and with the lovely chair settled at the top of long stairs, it was perfect to address his members with. prestige padded slowly across the room, drawing his eyes over the walls, admiring the spaciousness of it. this would do well. he twitched his tail lightly as he climbed the steps and took his seat in the chair, half tempted to stretch himself along the length of it, but restrained himself to keep a more official appearance. a soft sigh breathed past the male's lips. he hated being up here. "rosebloods," the pharaoh bellowed, voice echoing through the hallways of the ruins. "gather for a meeting." he fell silent then, eyes fixated on the doorway as members began to file in, and once a decent group had settled in prestige began. "i apologize for not keeping track over these past weeks, but for those who have joined us in this time of hardship, welcome to the rosebloods." he started lightly, gesturing to a goblet of wine sitting on one of the steps for those who wished to participate in the orientation. "before i get to promotions, i would like to thank you all for being patient through these rough few weeks and contributing and keeping us going as we moved to this new, strange place. for those who have lost something or someone, i offer my condolences." "jiyu, i would like you to step up to nomarch of warfare. sephiroth to guard, and lydia to physician. shout out to talyn. keep it up, everyone." prestige offered a nod to each, once more beckoning to the drink upon the steps for the promoted, should they accept, to drink from. he paused for a moment before continuing. "being that we are now allies with tanglewood, if anyone would like to act as ambassador to them, now is the time to request it. in other news, we will be having open season on the pitt; if you wish to lead a raid on them, let me know. i would recommend requesting assistance from the typhoon or tanglewood as well, as our numbers are dwindling at the moment." he rolled his shoulders back lightly and breathed a sigh, looking over the gathered members. "unless anyone has something they'd like to say, meeting dismissed." / in a bit of a rush! will add ooc summary soon Re: remember me, love / MEETING 9.19 - sephiroth - 09-19-2018 SEPHIROTH MALE — ROSEBLOODS — MEMBER — HOVER FOR TAGS

He hadn’t had much rest since they arrived, making an attempt to settle himself before he was called to a meeting. The pale lion would prowl to the new meeting space, his sharp eyes set on Prestige as he seated himself quietly, his gaze unblinking.Ah, so he had been rewarded for his work. Sephiroth would slightly lift his head as his name was called, his expression not changing one bit. He would rise to his paws and approach the full goblet, his optics shifting to the beverage. He lowered his platinum framed skull, taking a sip from the container and then lifting his head as he stared back at Prestige. His tongue swiped over his jaws to taste the red around his mouth as he took a step backwards to let the others come and drink if they so pleased too. ”Thank you, Prestige.” His voice didn’t show much emotion, not excitement or gratitude or anything. Simple, professional, and polite. (thank you!!) Re: remember me, love / MEETING 9.19 - Luciferr - 09-20-2018

Re: remember me, love / MEETING 9.19 - Jiyu Simul Stamus - 09-24-2018 Jiyu knew that things had to move around when they moved, it was simply the way things went, the vast majority of the things around her changed. The calico had been stagnant forever, a guard, that was always her purpose! She lacked something basic and essential that everyone else had, making her unfit for anything else. While 'happy' was not so much in her vocab, content was and she had always been content with the frozen way things often remained for her. Stability was important, especially when something drastic had happened. The most she had walked into this meeting expecting in her own regard was maybe guardmaster, she'd always been a guard. Having her stick around in the same capacity? Could be comforting for others, she'd found it worked that way in the past. Change was not something she partook in, her purpose was preserving everyone's safety and she took any steps needed to do it from her position amongst the guards, it kept her in check. Monarch?! She didn't show any signs of even having heard it on the outside, her brain wheeling with his statement. Monarch? How could she, that wasn't what she was, never once had she been suited to some job like that. Of course, how would someone like her know anyways, Jiyu lived her whole life fulfilling one role, never questioning why she did it because she knew nothing else existed inside of her. Yet, the leader standing up there now had challenged that very fact once before already, leading numerous of their small mass out of the burning forest and preforming a job that wasn't quiet hers the entire night. How could he expect her to step outside of her role again?! Much less be able to fulfil a new one, it wasn't what she did, he had been alive long enough to see that. Empty optics blinked as she walked forward to the drink anyways, because after-all that was what she'd always been following orders, contained. It was warfare at the end of the day, it wasn't that big of a deal, she'd always been involved in war, so it wouldn't be that much different. Yet, she couldn't help but feel her life would be more difficult with this and she wouldn't be what they expected, after-all, being a guard had contained her perfectly. This, she had no idea what this was going to do. The stoic could only nodd and follow through. Even almost falling into the wastes at one point- the warnings to steer clear becoming immensely reasonable in that moment. Regardless, her ears pricked up at the familiar call of Prestige's voice, her paws moving towards it before her mind could tell her to. The snowshoe settled into the middle of the gathering group, tipping her head back to peer up at the pharaoh. She smiled softly at his condolences, understanding his stress and business and not at all holding it against him. However, what came next made her eyes widen. Her? Physician? "Thank you, Prestige," Lydia called up, blinking in remaining disbelief before breaking out to add "I could also be the Tanglewood ambassador, if you'd like." |
