it's just cause you were five [o, human pokemon trainer au] - Owlie - 09-16-2018 EDWARD NYGMA WHAT AM I? // title topic is here, because i think that Jello deleted the original? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V_7xTPfC0pY Ed was in his loose green attire, green tie, white collared shirt, open green suit jacket. He looked good in green. He sat with his hands clasped, fingers knitted together, chin rested on his hands, elbows on his legs. He was sitting on a crate, the dock moving under them. He stared at his Alakazam, playing their typical game. "It's shorter than the rest, but when you're happy, you raise it up like it's the best. What is it?" "Ala." A humpf, a look of contempt, confident. Ed nodded, "Correct, a thumb. Next, I have two legs, but they only touch the ground while I'm at rest. What am I?" He leaned forward lightly, blinking, wondering if he'd get him this time. He was aggravated by this game, sometimes, he could believe in the idea this creature was smart than him. What did that make him, a sidekick? "Ala." "Yep. Wheelbarrow. Okay, I cause involuntary movements in your vehicle. What am I?" "Alakazam." Edward hit his legs, "Oh, come on!" He sucked in a breath, "Now you give me one." He said, sitting up as Alakazam leaned forward giving him a look "Ala, Alakazam alakazam, ala." Ed sat up with a stumped look on his face. this ship was too slow. huffing silently, venus' azure gaze drifted overboard as the docks below finally began to move and they prayed ardently that soon they'd be far behind the trainer. because despite their cool and patient image; venus was an ansty teen who couldn't wait for their poptart to emerge from the toaster, let alone endure a long ship voyage. but it was the only way the trainer was ever going to see other regions and therefore it was in venus' best intersts to just suck it up until the ship docked again. "ha-rumph!" chuckling venus turned their pointed gaze down towards their overtly diva-ish alolan vulpix, just like their trainer. "me too ang, me too." affectionately one of venus' sun-kissed hands came down to give angel's cheek a good scratch so the vulpix would calm down just a little. "soon we're gonna get to johto, and then you can run as far as the eye can see. just wait a few days more." smiling idly, the trainer fixed their stark white bag upon their back more comfortably as their sapphire gaze drifted from the docks below to the trainers aboard the ship. where were they going? did they too want to break free of their homeland's limited pokedex potential and explore new and foreign lands? venus liked to think so, that provided more competition for their plight to become a real pokemon professor. venus craved competition. craved winning. oddly enough the trainer's gaze was caught by one odd looking man, drawn to his lazying form with his own companion out of it's pokeball too. mostly because venus' vulpix had decided that the alakazam beside edward was the new plaything that it was going to bark at. "ah.. shit." harmless angel was, being under-leveled and under-powered for it's age due to it's lack of battles, but angel was headstrong no doubt. venus was obliged to come over to the pair and at least try and stop their pokemon's antics. "hah, sorry about ang.. i just- hey stop that!" breathlessly venus struggled to keep up with their vulpix's energy and lack of respect for trainer's words. |
