slow & steady / open intro - ghostpact - 09-14-2018

Getting here was interesting, to say the least. He lost count of the roots he had to climb over or under or around. It wasn't terrible being a snake, but at times, he had lost his way and it took twice as long to even get into camp the first time. It was darker here. Much, much darker, but he quite enjoyed that. It reminded him of where he used to live, back before the Typhoon when he was still a baby under his parents' care in the snowy forest. The spark of memory in his mind was a welcome one, despite the thoughts that came quickly after it.

The group itself was something even more interesting than the territory they resided in, but Jörmungandr couldn't and wouldn't complain. He was used to the magical and mystical, he felt a little more in place with it all, even if it were slightly different from what he knew before. Plus, he wouldn't reject the company that a group like this offered. He was bound to be around for a really long time, might as well fight his 'destiny' and make some... friends, while he was at it.

Lucky for him, he thought, that he needed no room to stay in. The stairs looked awful hard for him to climb and he was much more comfortable wrapping around a nice tree branch than snuggling into a makeshift bed. Besides, he had no belongings, aside from the bangle he received for being a member. Unfortunately there wasn't a way for him to wear it, not comfortably at least, so that stayed at the bottom of the tree he most spent his time wrapped up in.

Which, he was just now dropping out of. It hardly hurt him to fall from the distance. Though, it might've been unsettling to see a five foot anaconda fall from the trees.

It had only been recently that the Realm had taken people who they did not know with open arms. For a long time, they were banished here, and as such did not trust the creatures who came from the light. Naturally, they were distrusting of then. However, they had to make the effort. To convince themselves that not all of the creatures from the light were bad, or evil, or would drive them into the cage. It was a long process but they had made it.

Now, she remembered welcoming a creature from the light a while ago. But, she could not recall his name. An odd thing, though. He was quite the snake, and he was... well, he was very green. And he didn't even want a treehouse! What was with him. What was he gonna do if lightning struck the tree he was in? He'd catch on fire. Anyway, the Ancient Sorceress had been looking for him. To give him a warmer welcome than her mother did. She hummed, stopping by his tree. Oh good he was-- Great Hylia! The runed wolf's odd eyes widened as he fell from the tree. Dust was kicked up as she ran back a few steps. Was that a prank? "Save the pranking for next week, Jörmungandr! The Autumnal Equinox is almost here, you can scare people then!" The Hylian-speaking wolf called, huffing her breath.
