BACK TO WHERE WE LEFT OFF // private, venta - KION - 04-06-2018 Kion had never been more stressed out in his life. Between Venta not remembering him, and Scar being around, the cub didn't think he'd ever get a break. He had come here to the Ascendants looking for a new start, but it seemed like his past just couldn't stop haunting him. No... he couldn't just sit back and let everything fall apart completely. Ven had lost her memories, but maybe he could do something to try to help her remember who he was, and how things used to be. "Ven?" The lion called out as he searched for the other cub, wondering where she had gone off to after she had joined. He knew he had completely embarrassed himself at the time, and now he had to make things right, and help her to remember. "I need to talk to you." Was he worried? Yes. Of course he was. What if Venta never ends up getting her old memories back... would he be pushed to the side and forgotten about completely? Kion wasn't sure exactly what would happen if it came to that, but he knew that he didn't want to think about it for too long. He just wanted for her to remember more than anything else. The cub has not known of Kion’s issue with his relative, which was quite unfortunate. Venta had her own problems. Her soul had just been cut in half as she refused to be a catalyst for a war. No. It wasn’t refusal. It was her yelling that she wasn’t strong enough to go through with it, as enemies surrounded her. Her Master watched on with a sadistic grin. He remarked that if she couldn’t bring out her darkness, he would do it for her. He stabbed her. She remembered the pain through her heart, and her body going limp, her claws sheathing as her eyes became duller than the night itself. Then, she was wrapped in a blanket, and left to die before... going somewhere. She was left with no memories of the past, and perhaps it was better that way.
But, it appeared someone was looking for her. The cub had been out in the Flower Field. Her dull sapphire gaze scanned the rather vibrant reds, purples, yellows and more colors that streamed against the grassy green of the field. Her ears perked as she heard the tawny cub call for her. She had waited. Yes. It was the one who had appeared to have known her, who asked if she was okay. Ven didn’t know how to react to this. There was a painful, longing sense of familiarity and comfort in him, but it was best not to act to it. For all she knew, he could have manipulated her. Tried to push her into bringing her darkness out. Her gaze drifts towards the worried fierce lion. She then walked over and sat down near him, tail curled neatly around her paws. "Yes... Kion, was it? What do you need?" She asks in a monotonous manner. space
