PRAY FOR THE WICKED && fishing. - TSUYU. - 09-03-2018

She had a lot she could do to feed the Pittians, especially with her frog-like abilities. While many didn't like her, Tsuyu had no care in the world. She would still make herself useful in this group, unlike many of the others who just lounged around all day. She had taken a few things from Valkyr from people watching, and found that if she kept herself busy, she could at least be a little useful.

So, she decided to do what she did best. Fishing.

Tsuyu was fond of water, and swimming was one of her favorite things to do alongside fishing. So, when she had found an unfamiliar source of rushing water, she had glanced around to find fish in the source. Trout, crawdads, typical river-water creatures. The frog hybrid jumped into the water, long tongue acting as lure for the trout that swam, panicking, through her legs.

Her tongue shot forward as quick as possible, entrapping a trout as the appendage shot back to her mouth, her jaws clenching around the flopping fish before she delivered the killing bite to it, tossing it onto the banks.
"One down, more to go, ribbit."

Re: PRAY FOR THE WICKED && fishing. - TSUYU. - 09-04-2018

While slaves were supposed to act totally loyal to everyone in the Pitt, Tsuyu mostly didn't. She was only submissive to her master, Stryker, the one who had brought her here. It took a lot of convincing to get Tsuyu to listen to you. She was pissed off at Valkyr, though, for letting her catch get away. He took her capturee and took her home, so she heard.

Charcoal eyes shifted as she lifted another dead trout onto land with her tongue, bobbed tail flicking water to and fro awkwardly. Quill? "Name's Tsuyu Asui. Call me Tsu. Ribbit." She meowed, stepping out of the water to shake her fur out, which didn't take too long. She had very thin fur, and it was tight against her skin. Frost eminated from her breath as she moved over to the other Pittian, her tongue hanging from her jaws as she stuck her webbed paw out for the male to shake.

This was one of those rare moments where Tsuyu was actually a bit more stable, the peace of being in water soothing her and calming her down along with the voices in her head.
"It's a pleasure to meet you, Quill, ribbit."

Re: PRAY FOR THE WICKED && fishing. - Stryker - 09-04-2018

[align=center][div style="width: 60%; text-align: justify; font-size: 11pt; font-family: georgia;"]☣ — Stryker didn't like considering Tsuyu a slave outloud, but inside he knew that's what he had done to her. The lion had used her as his pawn. There was no turning back from that point on, but he liked to think that she was still as annoyingly joyful as ever (just with a little slight etch for violence and listening to his word). Usually, he could care less, but at the moment, he had to acknowledge what he had done as he watched her from the sidelines with a curious gaze. At least she seemed to at least find peace (he was unsure if that was the right word to even call it, truthfully) and a purpose here within the Pitt.

As Quill approached, his eyes trailed after him. For now, the lion wasn't so content on being a social butterfly as he usually was with the public. With Snowbound stressing him and thoughts on his mind, he'd rather sit in peace and watch Tsuyu peacefully fish in the hot sun.

BENNY G.
fishing wasn't benny's strongest skill when it came to hunting. the fox was built more for tracking. he could follow a poor doe for days until she got exhausted from keeping away from him and take it down, though normally he had the help of his tribe beside him. there was the first time his father, bingo, had taken him and swank out for their first hunt. they were just kids then, not even their adult teeth had grown in yet. it was one of the rare paternal moments bingo actually partook in.

in the mojave, though, there weren't many bodies of water that held fish at all. too small, or not enough nutrients in the water to survive off of. the only water around was for drinking or washing, sometimes from the same source if you weren't so lucky.

benny had only met tsuyu one other time. she had come back from the typhoon covered in all sorts of injuries and blood. feathers in her mouth and braiding them into her fur. it was a weird first impression, but not the worst in all honesty. bt had tried to kill him. that was the lowest bar for the pitt.

"hey-a sweets." the marbled fox greeted, shooting a wink to quill in particular, but giving his main focus to the both of them. "we fishin' today? never done it before... though you ever had sushi?"
