if the city never sleeps than that makes two — p, raid rescue party - Belladonna - 04-06-2018 [align=center][div style="width: 450px;; text-align: justify"][size=8pt]As much as Belladonna loathed fighting and hurting others, she knew why she was there today. They all did. Vladimir had been snatched under their noses and they'd rather prefer safe in the Tanglewood's territory - as safe as that could be, anyway. Better than a walk off the plank. Hearing Beck's clamor in the distance, Belladonna slipped away from the rest of the raid party, pulling a cloak over her already shadowy frame and her new white mask - she needed to stay low, and hopefully, Valo and Happycamper were behind her somewhere. They needed to get in and out, get Vlad, and come back for the ambush. If this didn't work, she was going to consider filing a lawsuit. It wasn't long before Belladonna had disappeared in the chaos, and she seemed to be on the trail of Vladimir's scent; she slunk down the empty corridors towards the brig, praying to whatever god out there that for the good of everything in the world, she wouldn't run into anybody. If anyone were to come onto her, she'd prepared a few sedatives made from various herbs - nothing to kill anybody with, just to knock them out. Maybe it would give them enough time to get out. "Speech." Re: if the city never sleeps than that makes two — o, raid rescue party - vvintersoldier - 04-06-2018 track for now <3 Re: if the city never sleeps than that makes two — p, raid rescue party - Belladonna - 04-08-2018 [align=center][div style="width: 450px;; text-align: justify"][size=8pt]Belladonna padded slowly and lightly on her feet, knowing Valo-kas and Happycamper were behind her - and it was stronger now, Vladimir's scent. They arrived up on a doorway, the door hanging wide - and as she peered inside, her heart sank. "He's... he's here." Her voice was weak, afraid, and hinting the start of what sounded like anger. Vladimir was a chilled corpse. He'd been like this for a while now - his bandanna had been tossed aside and his body was still in a pool of blood, so still it was reflecting the light pouring in from the tiny porthole window. Belladonna, silently, used her water elementals to part the blood away, moving it down a drain. She padded forward, her features blank - She was going to need both Valo and Happy's help, because now they didn't have much time. They'd have to take his body home. "...we need to get him out of here." turning back towards the others, she snatched Vlad's bandanna, shoving it in her satchel. "Speech." Re: if the city never sleeps than that makes two — p, raid rescue party - valo-kas - 04-08-2018 "Aw, f-fuck, man, fuck, why's he dead? why the hell..." this was a rescue operation, they weren't supposed to show up and have the guy be dead, they- this was supposed to be the easy part! valo-kas swallowed a thick, sticky mouthful of complaints. "[color=salmon]alright. yeah. OKAY. whatever, how're we gonna move him? typhoon's gotta know somethin' is up by now." they spoke quietly. "[b]do we just drag him?" unless one of the other two had a power that'd make this easy. valo-kas had one, in fact, but they were bad at using it and would rather not risk getting vlad stuck somewhere. though to be quite honest, that was just a whole lotta words arranged in a brand new way to say lazy. Re: if the city never sleeps than that makes two — p, raid rescue party - Belladonna - 04-10-2018 [align=center][div style="width: 450px;; text-align: justify"][size=8pt]Belladonna didn't have any super power to help with the situation, no - and panic started to set in. How would they get him out of here? her mind rushed as she tried to find an answer - and spinning around, she started to look more and more startled. She wished she'd brought Amunet with them... Then an idea hit her. She doubted it would work - it wasn't a power she was very talented with, but she had to try, for Vlad. Squeezing her eyes shut, she shifted her satchel off of her shoulders and placed it on the floor with a heavy clang. Her eyes still shut, her body started to change, and it was a brief moment as she yelped a bit from the pain of her body undergoing heavy change - but when her eyes opened again, she was a golden tiger. She stepped back, her movement a bit unsteady, but she let out a sigh of relief. "I'm sure this will do. If one of you could take my satchel, I'll carry Vlad. We need to find an escape route. Something out onto the roof perhaps?" she asked, and although she didn't mention anyone by name, she glanced to Valo, whom she was sure had been very prepared to mentally map out the ship they'd seen so far. "I don't suppose you saw an exit sign?" "Speech." Re: if the city never sleeps than that makes two — p, raid rescue party - valo-kas - 04-12-2018 “[color=salmon]oh, big.” valo-kas murmured, looking at belladonna sort of expand into something bigger. and stripier. tiger, numbnuts. right. “[color=salmon]no, yeah, I think I know howta get out. quick. least, if the layout of this thing makes as much sense i-r-l as it’s makin’ in my brain. let’s bounce.” they tried keeping the tone light despite the dead body. valo-kas moved away, pausing for a minute to think before practically rocketing off in the direction they thought would lead out of here. Re: if the city never sleeps than that makes two — p, raid rescue party - Belladonna - 04-14-2018 [align=center][div style="width: 450px;; text-align: justify"][size=8pt]Valo-kas was giving off an ebbing aura of confidence, but it was somewhat obvious they didn't have a completely thought out plan - but if anything, they still needed to get out, and fast, and any direction would do. Shifting the weight of Vlad on her shoulders, she followed after Valo-kas, her feet trailing clumsily behind them. [ move to the main raid thread? ] |
