rumble in brighton — "visitor" - JERSEYBOY - 04-05-2018 [align=center][div style="borderwidth=0px; width: 55%; color: black; line-height:115%; text-align: justify;"]Here he was at the border of the Typhoon yet again. This time, however, he wasn't a lost lil' kitty poking his nose where it didn't belong. He wasn't trying to explore and meet animals from other clans. Curiosity wasn't going to kill the cat this time, but perhaps his stubbornness would. Clearly fuming and bristling with rage, the tuxedo tom marched down the railroad tracks that led towards the border of the Typhoon. As the clan's scent filled his nostrils, he came to a halt. As much as he was itching to barge forward and go look for his little brother himself, he didn't want to get ambushed. He wanted to just ask for his release in a levelheaded manner... sort of. Probably not, knowing him. "Ey, can I get some service ova' here? I ain't got all day." Jerseyboy called, tail whipping back and forth behind him impatiently. The whole "patrol" thing was quite difficult for the snake. He couldn't see above the bushes like everyone else unless he stopped too many times to even be worth it. It was hard for him to hear over distance so if anyone called out, he could miss it. Of course, he could catch their scent, but if the wind wasn't in his favor that day, then that went out the window. He could climb a sturdy enough tree near a point on the border, though, and watch from there. Things may have been blurry the further he tried to look, but it was better than nothing. That's where he'd been when spotted the cat at the border. Finally, my idea's paid off. The anaconda slowly unraveled from the branch, dropping to the floor and lazily making his way toward the stranger. Tongue flickering and looking bored, he'd lift his head when he was closer to the cat so he was at eye level with him. Well, Jör felt he didn't have all day, either, but he didn't retort. "Hi. What do you need?" |
