GOD AS MY WITNESS — DISCUSSION - PINCHER - 08-27-2018 CAPTAIN PINCHER ROUX | resides in the typhoon and is the demigod of rough seas. he is a muscular dark gray jaguar with frigid glacier blue eyes, marked with scars and glowing tattoos. he is the head of the roux family and is currently single. he is known for being a charming strategist with dark secrets. be cautious around him. —— ⚓ ❝ YOU SHOULD SEE ME IN A CROWN — YOUR SILENCE IS MY FAVORITE SOUND ❞ Working was a relief for Pincher despite all the headaches it gave him and when it came to politics, his mind was stuffed with ideas and what to do with them. It was an outlet for him not to think too much about what had happened to Jacob, to shove whatever grief he should be feeling away so he could concentrate despite there being cracks in his mask of composure. He now smoked jet black cigarettes, they held a stronger nicotine than normal cigarettes and despite not really used to it, he inhaled the bitter smoke and exhaled softly, small coughs interrupting him as the male was still not fully recovered from his sickness that gnawed at his physical body. Pincher was sitting silently under a shade of a palm tree, glazed aqua blue eyes trained onto the crashing waves of the sea. He was unblinking, glued to a haze of inner turmoil as he bit down hard onto the cigarette and oblivious to the fact that he bit so hard that it snapped and the lit end of it had fallen to his feet, dying away in the pale ivory sands of Barracuda Bay. He heard other crewmates socializing and mingling but he didn't join in, not wanting to bother. All he did was become a negative impact, right? He was like the tide of a sea, get too close and you'll drown. He forced himself not to sink into his selfish thoughts as the somber male rose to his full height and headed over to the main center of the Bay with his long tail dragging softly against the floor as he halted and cleared his burning throat. ”Everyone, gather around for a fucking discussion about a possible alliance with Tanglewood. Morgan came the other day to state an interest and we are going to vote if they are good enough to become a candidate for an alliance with us. Tanglewood is a group similar to us though more laid back on the whole looting and shit, that's our talent. We have had a previous conflict in the past where one of us had captured and murdered their member and they raided us to save him but after that, everything became silent. They live in a radioactive swamp - why? I don't got a fucking clue but they do have decent amount of resources from what I have seen after we infiltrated them a while ago. They seem like decent folk but the decision is based on the majority of those who say ‘aye’ to them becoming an alliance or those who oppose it. State your damn vote and then explain why cause I need to know what you guys think of this.” Pincher rumbled over the whole explanation with long tail curling tightly around him as the demigod waited for the others to respond with their point of view. He didn't mind having an alliance with Tanglewood, they were okay and seemed level-headed but it wasn't entirely up to him since Pincher believed in democracy over power. "The endless Void, The gazing abyss, The bottomless ocean of horror... It coiled itself around your tender heart." "I suppose it also depends on whom they're currently allied with - if at all - a conflict in enemies and allies could be a disaster when we need support - if we do anyhow" the dragon rumbled, coming from the shadows into the discussion and inclining his head to his leader. "outside of potential raids, an inquiry into what specialised supplies we could trade between wouldn't go amiss - if they have only items we have ourselves or amongst our current allies, then thats a surplus and we can afford to be more tenuous in alliance holdings - also considering how balancing who we are allied to and who we are enemies with, perhaps an inquiry on if our current allies hold ill will toward them at all" but he'd wait for what the others had to say and the like. /short af

Re: GOD AS MY WITNESS — DISCUSSION - CAESAR CIPHER. - 08-27-2018 ALL ALONE HE TURNS TO STONE !
CAESAR CIPHER. MALE. THE TYPHOON. OFFICER.
Caesar had heard about Tanglewood showing up here, although he had expected Pincher to just straight up accept the alliance. Luckily though, it seemed like that was the opposite and Caesar was almost relieved to hear Pincher's announcement regarding having a discussion over them. "No." The Officer's words were cold and sharp as he made his way over, his pinned ears clearly showing the fact that he did not like the idea of this alliance. He didn't like alliances in general, but they absolutely could not be allies with Tanglewood. Not when Vigenere was there. "What's the point in allying ourselves with them if they're practically the same as us?" He asked. Minus a few things here and there, but his point still stood; why should they be allies with them, especially considering they had a past? Nobody knew of Vigenere as far as he was aware, so luckily this couldn't be pinned to 'you have a sibling there'. Of course, maybe it wasn't that hard to guess considering his hatred of Snowbound for the exact same reason. "I think, if anything, we should fuckin' start going after them again." Sure, they had The Ascendants there for a while, but the clan of prissy-ass star-gazers were locked inside their cabin or whatever. Re: GOD AS MY WITNESS — DISCUSSION - Grey - 08-28-2018 Tanglewood. It was one of the big Clans, not one of the new ones like Sunhaven, Rosebloods or The Pitt. Despite this, he can't say he feels much passion for participating in this discussion. He's only chosen to attend this time because he is a privateer, assuming it to at least be something he is obligated to do. The last time Bakugou had come to one of these discussions was out of genuine curiosity but after having a taster, he's not much interested. The situation between The Typhoon and Tanglewood was the same as them and the Rosebloods. They felt almost identical in their cases and Bakugou already felt bored of the group's presence. They didn't seem very lively. Heck, he almost forgot they even existed let alone were their allies. It seemed that their 'trail alliance' was fruitless and Bakugou therefore saw little point in alliances. They were strong, he reminds himself, strong enough that they didn't need allies. "A waste of time," Bakugou says aloud, pretty much agreeing with their Officer regardless of how much he hated him. Well, although he could be a total shithead, Bakugou was no liar. He'd tell the truth, admit his mistakes. Simple. "But if we do become their allies, we may as well buddy up with every other Clan." He wasn't actually suggesting this, just sliding one of his own points as to why the privateer remained so unenthused with such a proposed alliance. "They're not striking me as anythin' special."
