CAESAR CIPHER. MALE. THE TYPHOON. OFFICER.
When Pincher had died, Caesar simply did not care. The demon took it upon himself to start ordering people around, as if that somehow magically made him Captain of the place. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case and Pincher ended up coming back, but that was besides the point. Caesar didn't care that the guy had died, mostly because that was normal. Mortals died, it was as simple as that. Rarely do they come back, but it wasn't unheard of. Caesar was mostly just disappointed that Pincher came back because it meant that he still retained his position as Captain, leaving Caesar an Officer. It sucked, but he supposed that was something he had to deal with. Besides, death was something Caesar was used to. After all, he had been the one to kill his own parents and attempted to murder his own sister. I still would. Vigenere, too. Caesar held no love for his family. At least, not on the outside. On the outside, they had betrayed them when he needed them most. They abandoned him when he needed them most, but his plan still succeeded without them. But on the inside, he knew how much he still loved and cared for his siblings. But he had to push those feelings aside, if he wanted to keep his reputation here. Everyone believed he was happy with what he did - and he had to keep that facade. It made him look tough. It made him look powerful, made people fear him, and that's exactly what he wanted. Caesar couldn't relate to wanting to protect his home, though. Neither The Typhoon or his old Dimension. Caesar simply did not care for either, and he took it to the extreme when he destroyed his Home Dimension. But the only reason why he remotely 'cared' for The Typhoon was because of his position here. The only reason why he fought intruders was for the rush of the fight, to feel his claws scoring across flesh and the feeling of blood on him. They distracted him from the remorse he felt, even if they just added onto that mess. It was a distraction that was all, and Caesar was glad to have it. He would relish in it and make sure he would never feel remorse again, if only for his own sanity. The tang of blood hit the demon's nose as he made his way to the beach and he was the figure of Goldenluxury dragging another body across the beach. Tilting his head, Caesar would change his course and walk in the direction of the Dealer, the neutral look on his face quickly changing to one of shock. "Goldie?" It was the first time Caesar actually used her nickname, though it was mostly due to the surprise he felt seeing her in such a state - with blood covering her body. He was almost... proud? He was also intrigued by the fact that the Captain's daughter had killed someone - no, rather that she killed somebody in general. Caesar had been wondering if murder was an okay thing here and he was kind of curious to see what would happen. Of course, he couldn't go around killing his Crewmates, but he could go around searching for somebody to kill instead. "What the hell happened?" He asked her next, blinking at the body now. He had to say, he was impressed, mostly because of the fact that Goldie had done this. CAESAR CIPHER. MALE. THE TYPHOON. OFFICER.
Of course Goldie would be in shock after what she had done and believe it or not, Caesar could actually relate to that. His first murder had technically been Athena, Vigenere's ex-girlfriend. He killed her out of fury - pure, unadulterated fury. Athena was the Princess; the daughter of the very King that exiled him and his family and Vigenere dared to still meet her in secret. But that wasn't what pissed Caesar off, though it had slightly irritated him. No, what drove Caesar off the edge was the fact that Athena had talked to her father about the Cipher System returning to the Seventh Tier and the King agreed - but on one condition: Caesar could not return. That's what drove Caesar over the edge; the fact that Vigenere had listened to his girlfriend and believed her words and was so damn willing to leave him to rot in the outer reaches of the Dimension. Caesar had followed Vigenere, though he made sure that he had been downwind of his brother and he waited until Vigenere pulled out a ring. Honestly, Caesar hadn't known that he was going to purpose to Athena that night but that made things so much better. Before Athena could respond, Caesar went after her and bit down on her neck, easily ripping apart the skin as he pulled on it. Vigenere had briefly attacked him but stopped out of shock and Caesar fled back home, covered in Athena's blue blood. After he ran for a few minutes, he halted and paused to catch his breath, in absolute awe at what he had done. He... honestly hadn't expected to succeed, but the feeling of her throat in between his jaws was a great feeling. The feeling of blood pulsing out the wound had felt great, though the warm feeling of it had quickly went away as he ran off. But now that the adrenaline rush was starting to die down, Caesar almost felt bad. He ruined the chance for his brother to finally be happy, be free and have a chance to actually rule the Dimension. While Caesar believed it was his right to be the King, if Vigenere ended up marrying the Princess, he could end up bringing Caesar back. But now that was all ruined; he killed the Princess. He killed the Princess. Caesar hadn't wanted to do that. He hadn't meant to do that, but the pure rage he felt upon seeing the female is what caused him to push forward and dig his teeth into her throat, feeling her body tense underneath him. Vigenere pulling at him didn't help, but once he felt blood reach his mouth, he felt himself wanting more. But at the same time, he hadn't wanted to murder the Princess. It was just something that happened during the heat of the moment, fueled by the rage he felt towards her, and yet at the same time... he liked it. Eventually Caesar found himself going after the King, and he felt no remorse after killing the ancient creature. He rather enjoyed feeling the King's blood on his body and the brief moment of fear that flickered in his eyes before the life was brutally taken away from them. Once again, the blood felt warm for a few seconds but he had no time to react before it cooled, leaving the demon wanting more. By now, his Court would be dead and Caesar knew that getting the rest of the Dimension to listen to him wasn't going to work. After all, he was a known outlaw. So what was his solution? Burning the Dimension down. Listening to the screams of terror and pain and coming across bloody and burning corpses. Walking through the wreckage, Caesar soon found himself reaching his home, which was in flames and getting ready to collapse. Inside were his parents - Caesar closed his eyes and shook his head, fighting off those memories. They would only bring on regret and that was definitely something he did not want to deal with. Not out in the open like this. Goldenluxury had asked him a question and it took him a couple of seconds to realize what she had said. "No, Goldie, you're not." Caesar definitely wasn't the best person to ask this question, but he was going to be honest with her. Even if his reasons for believing she was still a good person was the opposite of what her reasoning was. He believed she was a good person merely for being able to kill somebody; Goldie would likely defend herself saying she protected her home. Which was understandable he supposed, and an excuse to kill somebody, but Caesar wasn't one for excuses. He killed just for the adrenaline rush, even if he ended up regretting it later. Stop. The demon growled to himself mentally, his tail flicking as he focused on Goldenluxury once more. "You're not a bad person. You killed him to protect The Typhoon, did you not?" Honestly, the reason he was trying to soothe her so he wouldn't have to hear her damn crying. "Sometimes you have to kill in defense." "The endless Void, The gazing abyss, The bottomless ocean of horror... It coiled itself around your tender heart." "Indeed" oh what a day of days, he and ceasar had something they agreed with amid the myraid of differences and disagreements - specifically over being harsh to children and the like, at least with the dragon - but lucifer did not care for that right now, no his focus was on Goldie and her obvious current moral crisis. "you did it to protect your home and your family, this is a quality to be admired" he inclined his head "Would you label myself a bad person for the people I have killed to protect my family?" oh and their had been many people he had killed. "you stopped someone who would have killed or tried to kill one of us for no other reason than they could - that makes you a protector not a bad person" if anyone here was a bad person - Lucifer himself was, whether he'd been right minded or not. there had been a time when a once ivory dragon had drowned a city entire in his rage and vengeance, his legacy was steeped in the blood of his sins as much as it was in the light of his redeemings.
