Do not fear (Open, hunger) - MirrorEdge - 08-27-2018

Gwen had been getting a bit skinny during the takeover, mostly due to the fact the kitsune had been refusing to eat any food that the Pittians had offered or prepared, hell, if they even touched it, you could expect her not to, mostly out of fear and distrust than anything else.

It had been okay the first week or so, but the fear grew, with each passing day, and the fact that the Pittians seemed not to care about other's property, and finally, outside the library, the grey kitsune stumbled on shaky paws, the wave of dizziness hitting her like a ton of bricks, and she struggled to get back up, a bit tempted to just lay there in the snow with the books on medicine she had grabbed now strewn around her.

Re: Do not fear (Open, hunger) - Stryker - 08-27-2018

His clanmates had offered food, apparently Butch gave out soup, but the clan was so untrusting in their care. Luckily, the lion was pleased. They were afraid of the consequences if they acted out, just as they always had been. There was nothing he could do besides force them... but they could die off due to their own mistakes. Truly, he didn't mind either way.

Re: Do not fear (Open, hunger) - ATBASH CIPHER. - 08-27-2018

ATBASH CIPHER
i know i should stop believing
i know there's no retrieving
Of course, where Stryker was, you're sure to find Atbash not far off. It was hard for her to walk around, but she almost had to be in sight of the lion now that her eye was... sort of healed. At least to the point where she was able to walk around, albeit with some difficulty considering she had to get used to being able to see with only one eye. Atbash was afraid to ask for help whenever Stryker and The Pitt was nearby, so the Hailcaller had resorted to crawling after Stryker, carefully placing each paw down as she moved along. Atbash frowned at Gwen, though she didn't say anything out loud to her, for fear of angering Stryker. However, the she-cat would aim to send a telepathic message to Gwen, "Are you okay?" Of course she was worried for Gwen; she was apart of Snowbound and she definitely... didn't look alright.

[align=center][div style="width: 51%; text-align: justify; font-size: 10pt; letter-spacing: 0px; font-family: verdana;"]Hunger was at the top of the list of Cosette's worries. It was right beside getting enough sleep, living a stress-free life, and avoiding the appearance of any more wrinkles. Perhaps it was more superficial of her, but if she got any skinnier, she'd end up looking like a walking skeleton! And for someone who already looked a little strange (though she'd never admit that to herself), there was no way she could put up with that.

The Snowbounder scowled slightly as her stomach growled, right when she had come into earshot of her mother and poor Gwen. She knew it wasn't a good idea to say anything out loud, and she lacked the telepathic powers it seemed her fellow members had, but maybe they could figure out some way to scavenge something off of the territory without signaling to Stryker. The sphynx brushed up against her mother's side, looking worriedly between her and Gwen but remaining completely silent. Maybe they could take this elsewhere.

Gwen received the message loud and clear, and simply nodded instead of speaking in front of Mr. Tyrant With No Soul, mostly because the little kitsune was at her limit, and was even considering lashing out, consequences be damned. Not that she had the courage to, but it was a nice thought that let her go to sleep at night. Taking a few moments to get up before gathering the books she had collected. "Probably just couldn't h-handle the amount of b-books I was c-carrying." Over the few weeks she had been here, her stutter had improved greatly, but as soon as the Pitt arrived, all that hard work had gone down the drain, turning her into a mess.

He was out of fucking booze. He was out of ducking booze and the memories were already trying to bother him again. Maybe violence was a trigger for him, but being triggered was for pussies. Dagon dealt with Dimitri’s trauma- their trauma- by drinking.  A sober ass Dagon approached them now, tired and trying to get something off his mind.

He looked at Stryker with pupiless, black eyes.
"Hold still, Dimitri. It will all be over soon. You’re doing such a good job you little fuck-" He shook his head, squeezing his eyes shut and trying to shake away the memory.
Stryker wouldn’t do that to him. That wasn’t one thing any of these fuckers could do to him.

Dagon moved forward, nudging her with his nose and trying to lift her head up. There was a grumble from Dagon as he looked over the books. "Need some fuckin help?”

I ADMIRE IT'S PURITY
an inkblot against the white prowled along the snows, just on the group's periphery and the staccatto pitch of a rumbling hiss following after him as he paced a circle around them, teeth glinting silver in the light.

a churr quiet and a strange form of greeting to serpent-lion before his attention fcussed back on the plentiful prey crowding around the weak-prey - oh so many different flavours of flesh before him, but wouldn't pale-mother like it if he brought one back to him later? palemother needed hosts after all.

♡ — DON'T YOU DARE FORGET THE SUN, LOVE.
Yuuri had found a stash of the fish that Tsuyu had frozen and kept in her den, not long after she had arrived. It seemed Tsu had always frozen her food to make it last longer, but the blind borzoi knew her tribemates needed this. They were starved, hungry.

So, when her enhanced hearing dialed in on the voices of Gwen and Atbash, her head dizzying from the use of such a power, Yuuri had lifted up a thawed fish in her jaws, almost gagging at the taste of the seafood. It was trout, caught from the frozen waters.

The young, pale white borzoi made her way to the voices, walking into a few branches on the way there. She could detect, smell, two unfamiliar presences, but she merely kept her walk at a fast pace, the trout in her jaws swaying slightly. "Gwen, here.." She muttered around the fish, dropping it at the female's paws. She had to keep her small amount of fish safe, she had to protect it.
