MORALE BOOST - open; medicine guild meeting - rhosmari - 08-26-2018

MONROE
MALE — SUNHAVEN — SUNBEARER — HARD
The sun was shining brightly and he was still upset about the whole Jericho stepping down business. But he wouldn't get in the way of another's decision as that just wasn't the way he worked. No, he allowed for life to go on and for others to do as they pleased without putting up a fuss. It was his nature now a days and he sighed a little bit. Although he wasn't prepared to be put in charge of the Medicine Guild. His eyes scanned over the greenhouse where their meetings were normally and he shifted from one paw to another. Ah, he didn't like the place because it was too warm, too humid and it made his skin crawl. But he didn't want to move the meetings to another place as the greenhouse was like the staple of how they worked. Clearing his throat a bit the male walked in with ease, pushing open the glass doors to enter the hot atmosphere that helped a lot of the plants grow. Maybe they should start a community garden and allow for others to get their paws in the dirt and grow their own plants. Even make a garden for veggies and fruits. Sounded kind of fun to him. The Diviner shifted from one paw to another as he turned his head slightly to look over his shoulders and he had made sure to leave notes at the doorsteps of other guild members to let them know that there was to be a meeting today. Now all he had to do was wait and see who came and what they were going to start up. After all the Medicine guild was important and they needed their medics. He was still unhappy about the Pitt situation but he kept that to himself and instead he entered the glass house of greenery and settled down at the had of a table, looking at the pants around him. Boy, he felt like he could drink three glasses of water at this point and he chuckled lightly to himself as he lifted up his head when he heard steps. "Welcome tae our second meeting. I know ya guys expected Jericho tae be leading us but um, after he stepped down he also handed the head of the Medicine guild to me. I hope tae do all of ya proud. Now, we haven't had any medical sessions for the group. Does anyone want to lead one? Ya can do it on poisonous herbs, or on application of certain poultices. Also, should we discuss our Hearth festival?"

There were clear differences in how the two acted, the more soft-hearted and kind approach Jericho had taken towards most matters had fit rather well with the image they attempted to portray but something about it felt wrong, inviting of attack. She held no wish to bad mouth him nor his practices, especially when it had been Jericho who had founded this place, had given her a home and purpose once more, but something within her was hopeful this change would be good.

Something within her had spoken of skipping the meeting, giving herself a chance to relax for things had grown hectic, too much happening all at once she needed some time to process, but to do so felt wrong. And so it was heavy steps which drew the serval towards the green house, a faint sorrow in maroon eyes as she looked upon it, remembering the first. It had been pleasant, a quiet little thing in light of good news, and yet now things felt heavy, casting stone about her shoulders she struggled to bare.

“Hello Monroe,” speaking softly Ishayu offered him a gentle smile as she stepped inside the glass lined structure, taking a seat close by. They had spoken at length before about a few things for the festival and so she wouldn't bring them up once more, yet she hesitated to offer to lead a lesson, unsure on what topic she would even tackle. Her knowledge of herbs and healing were minimal at best, meant only to keep her going, and this was more to teach her more rather than the other way around.
