BETTER TIME - open; sunhaven ambassador - rhosmari - 08-25-2018

MONROE
MALE — SUNHAVEN — SUNBEARER — HARD
He knew that Pele was the other ambassador to Snowbound but he had not seen the child in a while so he decided that he needed to go and see the Snowbounders on his own this time around. Besides he had not went with her last time and this time he needed to make a good impression. But trudging through the snow with no warmth that fur could provide was a bit of a tall order. He was shaking heavily as he made his way, jaws clamped over the handle of a basket filled with fish that would most likely be cold to keep for a while. Maybe he should have come more prepared especially with a place called Snowbound. Not thinking that it would actually have snow which in hindsight was kind of dumb. The mutant shook his head a bit and he sighed as he approached the border, pearl colored eyes settling on a few trees before he sat the basket down and called out. ”Sunhaven ambassador here! At ya service and I brought ya some fish if ya want some!”

Re: BETTER TIME - open; sunhaven ambassador - SICARION - 08-25-2018

[align=center][div style="max-width: 500px; text-align: justify;"]The cold wasn't much to Floris' comfort either, and he'd say the same went for many of the people here. Over time, it was starting to lock up his joints, make him a bit slower, and considering the current state of Snowbound -overtaken by an egotistical prick- it pissed him off even further that he should be even slightly debilitated in a fight. If he could leave, he would- although that would necessitate an upheaval of his character and morality. When this was over, he probably wouldn't stay, but he wouldn't abandon them when they were short on tough bastards, and he was willing to take the hits other people couldn't. Duty was bred into him, as much a part of Floris as his plates, however little it gained him in the end.

That didn't matter. Doing what he could to squeeze out from under the thumb of an asshole did, and meeting with ambassadors wasn't part of his idea of helping but he'd do it anyway. Atbash would've been a better first welcome, though. Making nice had never been Floris' job. "Here I thought everyone'd forgotten about this place," the dragon commented, his good mandible twitching while he briefly studied the oddly mutated feline. "Floris Sicarion. I'm sure someone will eat it." He needed to find a reliable food source for himself. If it wasn't the cold or the Pitt that'd kill him, it was the lack of food Floris could eat.

"What's it like in Sunhaven? Warm? You don't have to stand out here if you don't want to."

Re: BETTER TIME - open; sunhaven ambassador - Stryker - 08-25-2018

[align=center][div style="width: 60%; text-align: justify; font-size: 11pt; font-family: georgia;"]☣ — Lowly growling to himself in various swears of frustration, Stryker had happened to hear the ambassador come their way. Seeing that they were taken over right now, the ambassador was useless... unless they too wanted the bend to knee, but they'd most likely go running back to Sunhaven to report the news and support a revolution in Snowbound's favor. Sadly, he could not allow that. With eyes narrowed, he approached in a saunter and observed the situation. Sicarion seemed to be handling the situation, but then again, he wasn't in charge here, now was he? Aiming to push past the plated dragon, he'd come to face the Sunhaven member with a dull smirk arising across his lips.

Pausing, he stared for a moment. A small opponent, rather lanky though, but even so, not a challenge from first looks. "You aren't welcome here, sunshine," the male cooed mockingly. "Period." Exposing venomous teeth as he snarled, the lion reared back and forced his weight on his haunches, preparing to tackle their 'visitor' if they disobeyed. "I think it's time for you to leave."

MONROE
MALE — SUNHAVEN — SUNBEARER — HARD
One thing was for certain he was freezing his arse off here. His skin was pulled tight with shivers that shook his body and he was trying his best to keep his smile on his muzzle. But he was not accustomed to the cold on land as he was in the water. The temperature of water was tolerable for him and he shifted from paw to paw to try and keep himself warm. But he didn't have that to worry about for long as something came forward. Something that he had never really seen before and there was certainly none in Sunhaven. It was a marvel really to look upon a dragon in his book and his jaw almost dropped open before he shook his head as the voice lifted up to reach him. "I'd never forget about Snowbound. Tis my job and all of that. But sorry that I'm a little late this time around." His eyes spoke of his embarrassment for such an untimely thing and he shook his head a little bit before he settled down as introductions came flowing forth. Oh, yes he needed to be polite and keep this up. Show that Sunhaven was pretty good at getting along with potential allies. "Ah, nice tae meet ya. Name's Monroe and I'm a Dawnguard from Sunhaven. It's definitely warm there and we live by the ocean, so we see some nice weather." The idea of not having to sit out in the cold for his visit was very much pleasing and he was about to say as much until someone came forward.

This was unexpected and he didn't think he would get hostility from someone that was a potential friend. His eyes widened for a moment and he stumbled back in the snow as the other reared up on hind legs and made himself look impressively bigger. There was a huge size difference but the mutant bared his rows of serrated teeth, eyes narrowed a bit in a show of his own ferocity. "I'm supposed tae be here because of a potential alliance formation. Who do ya think ya are?" His shark fin curled over his back in an arch and he glanced over to the dragon almost as if the guy might try and help him. What was even going on here and he took another step back from his basket, ready to fight or run if he had to but his first instinct would be to take a chunk out of whatever was trying to attack him first and his teeth helped greatly with that.

Re: BETTER TIME - open; sunhaven ambassador - SICARION - 08-26-2018

[align=center][div style="max-width: 500px; text-align: justify;"]The longer the mutated feline spoke, the more apparent his odd accent became; it was understandable, but he hadn't come across any of the clan people who had a similar...accent. It definitely wasn't a feature among Floris' own people, just as flanging didn't seem to be an aspect of theirs. Not that he could group all the clans together; if there was one thing he already learned, it was how different and divided they were, whether in terms of demographics or overall morality. "Don't think there's much of a schedule. It would have been better if you ran even later, maybe." Depending on Stryker's appearance. If he showed up, later was the preference, at least for Monroe's sake. If he didn't, then- thank the spirits. Monroe seemed friendly, and while Floris wasn't, it'd be nice to have a conversation that didn't completely piss him off for once. "The ocean? Definitely beats the snow." And their lovely neighborhood dictator.

Speak of the devil and he shall appear. The dragon growled as the lion pushed by him unnecessarily, though at least he was on Floris' good side. His blind side and things would have escalated even faster than they were already going to. Was Stryker so high on a feeble victory that he'd get another clan's ire on his back? Well, he'd have more than that to deal with, and Floris wasn't about to stand around talking about it, so he aimed to ram his shoulder into the lion's side as he reared up, hoping to topple him over.

She had come to greet the ambassador, unlike some other Snowbounders, she probably wouldn't have the courage to try and let it slip that Snowbound was in the middle of a takeover. Well, if Monroe couldn't figure out that they had some unwelcome guests here with this welcoming committee and the stench of the Pitt, she didn't know what would.

Re: BETTER TIME - open; sunhaven ambassador - arcy - 08-26-2018

Hm. Strange to think that an ambassador would show up, now. The stench of the Pitt was everywhere, and it was honest to god disgusting. He was getting used to it, but his lip curled everytime he heard about it. But. . hm. He should've known Stryker would show up to ruin it. The dragon's lips curl as he sees Stryker rear up, and he sees Sicarion intervening as well. But, well ... Just to be safe. The green-scaled dragon quickly charges in, attempting to slide between Stryker and Monroe. Just in case Sicarion failed, Izuku would act as a meat shield once again. Better he gets hurt than the poor Sunhavener.
"Somebody who's bigger than he really is," He snorts to Monroe as answer, his tail tail giving an aggressive lash as he sneers at the lion. A disgusting man. Izuku would tear his fucking heart out if he could. Still, he shakes his head after a moment. "We actual Snowbounders appreciate your visit, but, unfortunately, we're in a bit of a situation. As much as help would be appreciated, sticking around on your own probably won't end well, as you can see." Izuku, of course, had the guts to spill the thing. Except that he didn't know how to so he was going to be ridiculously vague and ominous, maybe a little unfortunately for Monroe. And everybody else. Hm.

Re: BETTER TIME - open; sunhaven ambassador - Stryker - 08-27-2018

[align=center][div style="width: 60%; text-align: justify; font-size: 11pt; font-family: georgia;"]☣ — Silly. An alliance with the clan who wanted to do nothing in retaliation when a problem arose? How silly. Snowbound had nothing to offer to a neutral, war-prone clan like Sunhaven, even if they realistically thought that they could make it up with friendship and lame festivals. They were useless. How come they still roamed this Earth, truly? "I'm the leader, sunshine," he shot back. "Name's Stryker and I'm afraid I'm go-" With a strained growl, the male's side was rammed by the plated dragon and he swerved off to the side. Piercing eyes glared back, but he reared back once again. How dare he intervene.

Then Izuku rushed in the way, blocking his shot. A venomous hiss rumbled in the back of his throat, signaling his discontent with the braveness of the Snowbounder. Claws aimed to slash at Izuku's face, aiming for any vital part that he could hit. If his attack hit, it would most likely cause Izuku to swerve out of the way easily as he haltered backwards due to the damage. How wreckless and cruel... but he needed some leverage.

Whether his attack hit, he'd go forward with Monroe. Swerving past Izuku, Stryker aimed to grab Monroe by his shoulders with sharp claws and push down so the shark hybrid would slam into the ground below. "You're coming with me now."

MONROE
MALE — SUNHAVEN — SUNBEARER — HARD
There was something going on here and that was clear. Especially why how others tried to push the male away from him and their reactions in general. It took him a moment as scents above water were trickier for him than when they were in the waves but he began to pick up the smell of the Pitt. His eyes widened and he stumbled back a little as more jumped in to push the lion away but he attacked the others back. No, no, no. Were Snowbound under some kind of takeover? Where was the actual leader? He was about to speak up about what was happening when the Pitt member was upon him after having dealt his attack against the Snowbounders. Large claws came down on his shoulders and floored him, trapping the male underneath more powerful claws than his own. He struggled thick tail thumping against the ground as he let out a strange gurgling hiss as he aimed to sink his serrated teeth into the other’s paw and tear out a chunk of meat. ”Let go of me! Ya ain’t gonna get away with this ya piss pot!” He snapped angrily but he was hardly a match for someone so much larger and with powers that were less than developed.
