goldenluxury "goldie" roux — female — the typhoon — tags
to say the girl felt bad about the situation was an understatement. the neglect everyone had towards their disappearance was ridiculous. she did not understand why everyone stayed back, doing nothing about it. she understood her papa being hesitant to go back to the ascendants for political reasons, or whatever the hell, and a few were injured, but someone should have done something - including her.

she was almost relieved that her sisters had stayed in the ascendants, though. was that bad? she didn't know. all she knew was that they were likely safer there - she almost wanted them to stay a little longer. not because she wouldn't miss them, she most absolutely would, but cleo had confirmed they were treated well. they would be so much safer staying there. they wouldn't be in danger because of their older sister's own stupidity.

decius was a threat to everyone because of her. just because she hadn't slipped up yet - minus her negligence to deldrach, which lead to the female's injuries, didn't mean she wouldn't later. besides, decius may not stop himself from hurting others just because she wasn't slipping up. this was still the best chance she had, though. still, it probably wasn't very fair for her to do nothing about it. she should have checked in at the very least.

realistically, it would have been impossible for goldie to have made the journey to ascendants in her current state. she'd never even been to the group before, and likely would have gotten lost, and her legs would probably have given out before she could even make it halfway, but she didn't believe that. she should have done something. she should have gone anyway. she should have made the attempt, at least. maybe even go to an ally and request their aid. anything was better than what she had done - nothing.

the young girl needed to make it up to them - both of them. she needed to make up for being an awful older sister. a truly terrible girl. goldenluxury dragged herself towards cleo's home, leaning heavily on her walking stick as she pushed a little basket in front of her, it contained some presents for cleo. lynn followed close behind, the bird never straying too far from her now. she pushed herself to her younger sister's home, knocking softly once she arrived. "cl-cleo? it's g-goldie." her voice shook as she called, slightly hesitant.

Re: SO TEACH AND TELL ME / cleo - CLEO R. C. - 08-18-2018

Since returning to the Typhoon, Cleo had only further isolated herself from any and all who thought to even look at her much less speak to her. Eshe had done an impeccable job of convincing the tiny bengal that they didn't care, their negligence justifiable by those sentiments towards her and those sentiments only.  Without any other set guidance in her life, she listened to her mamba, collapsing more and more in upon herself with every passing day, her heart absolutely broken under that guise of rage. She already carried the heavy burden of a mother who did not love her, how was she expected to deal with the agony of her entire family? Her entire clan? It felt like it was she and Aita against the world, the sisters born from chaos and ushered away by the leader of the Ascendants only to be promptly forgotten the moment they disappeared. Was this to be her fate forever? Should she have listened to Eshe and returned to the unclaimed parts of the jungle to live out the remainder of her life with the snakes? She didn't know and admittedly, that frustrated her.

The sound of a voice - her sister's voice - dragged her back to reality, those troubled thoughts dismissed the moment her sanguine gaze fell upon Goldie. Almost instantaneously, a white hot wave of anger washed over her, clouding her perception and what otherwise would have been regarded as love towards her older sibling.  Eshe had left no room for that tedious emotion, not when it extended a hope for resolution to Cleo. [color=#445544]"What is it?" The undersized bengal inquired, voice distant and wispy, expression contorting ever so slightly to permit a frown to blossom upon her lips. She hadn't wanted to be bothered, or more so, hadn't anticipated being bothered. Her family had made it loud and clear that they possessed no interest in saving her, why should she even begin to believe for a second that they wished to interact with her as well? Shifting her weight, Cleo would perk her eyes, hoping to catch whatever Goldie had to say in response. Her hearing had only gotten worse since her return, another thing to add to her infinite list of frustrations.
