to think we could stay the same — med. guild meeting - jericho - 08-13-2018

Jericho has already told everyone to meet him at the greenhouse around this time (the time being midday, the sun high in the sky directly above him and streaming through the glass panels to warm his ginger fur), and thus he prepares for their first gathering.  He doesn't even know what he's going to say, really, he just knows they need to get together and speak about the future of their guild.  He supposes that's more of what this is — a discussion, not a meeting.  Jericho has no real interest in talking at his clanmates (he does more than his fair share of that during clanwide assemblies and it isn't fun), he'd much rather talk with them.  So he readies the greenhouse, clearing the walkways of pots and making sure all the tools have been put back into their proper places upon the shelves in the back.  The tabby wishes he had tea, but there's nothing to make any with here and he's too far from the town to go back and fetch some.  He settles instead for laying out some trays arranged with an array of his favorite fruits from the orchard, among them strawberries, oranges, and nectarines.  The little tomcat himself manages to leap up onto one of the tables and seats himself between a pot of just-sprouting lilac and a clump of amethyst-hued comfrey, tiny frame nearly obscured within the chaotic mess of flowers and herbs.  Nevertheless Jericho straightens himself, blind eyes wide and searching, and waits for the other Divines to arrive.

She held knowledge upon a basic level, could tell apart the base herbs to offer respite from pain, how to bandage gashes and cuts, set a bone once it had been broken, but she was one taught to kill and maim from the beginning, not to heal. There had seemed little practical about a soldier learning the act of healing, something better left for others for once broken you are left to wither and die or keep going, pushing until the very end, such notion had never held a place within her line of thought, however. Yet all the same her approach to things were tentative, thoughts of simply leaving it be, continuing her work in the shadow of the mountains and allowing the others space to grow where she was not permitted filling her head.

“Greetings Jericho,” soft is the voice of the serval, edged with worry for she expected harsh words in reply, driven from the meeting for this was not her place. Giving her head a brisk shake Ishayu slowly approached, eyes wandering about the space, captivated by the riot of colours, the smell of which was heady and bright, one she had never truly experienced before. It was beautiful.

MONROE
MALE — SUNHAVEN — SUNBEARER — HARD
He hadn't been in the greenhouse before and that wasn't odd considering the temperature and the humidity in a greenhouse. But he knew they would have a meeting of the medicine guild soon enough and so he knew that he would have to go in there eventually. The idea was worrying but he also knew that he had Pele's salve to help him out a bit. Clearing his throat he made sure that he used a good portion of it for this meeting so he could stand the temperature difference. It was his best shot really. Stepping out of his home the male slowly made his way over to the greenhouse, mind running over what they were going to discuss. Really, he was a strange healer of sorts because he didn't use land plants that much as he used aquatic plants. He enjoyed using those as he had studied and researched on them but now he knew he would have to use other methods of healing which he knew he would have fun learning. It was just a matter of time and how long it would take for him to learn them.

He wasn't a quick learner but he would so his best. Sniffling a bit the mutant pushed open the door to the greenhouse and he peeked inside, feeling the warm air envelope him. Green was the first thing to greet his gaze and he slipped inside before he noticed the table. With ease he scrambled up onto his seat before he gave a light smirk and lifted a paw to wave at the other two that had arrived here. "Oi there tae the both of ya. Nice tae have a little get together."
