WAIT FOR IT // joining - GORDON CIPHER. - 08-12-2018 Gordon enjoyed her time in The Ascendants, however the clan was too big for her tastes. The large group was unhealthy for her in the sense of it being too busy and bustling, and her nerves were shot every time she stepped outside. Besides, whenever The Ascendants had been at war with The Typhoon, the she-cat discovered that her father was apart of The Typhoon, and although she was unsure if he saw her, she had to leave. She didn't want to take any chances of him seeing her and taking her back with him. So Gordon set off, unsure of where she would be heading. She just wanted out of The Ascendants.
Gordon was a bit worried about her brother, Billiam, not finding her, but she remembered that they had a bond. If he wanted to find her, he could call out from their bond and she would gladly tell him where she moved. And where was that, exactly? Sunhaven. Although Gordon had no idea what this place was called, she heard of a new group popping up and that was her chance to escape her father. The little she-cat halted at the border, her eyes wide as she studied her surroundings. Her body was tense, like she was half-expecting somebody to pop out and lash at her, and she did - she was expecting her father. But he wouldn't know about this new group, right? ★ i am a lion born from things you cannot be ! ━

Unfortunately, however, she was now an authority figure of the group and expected to deal with it growing in the job description. She knew that she could leave at any time, but why would she? She was beginning to grow accustomed here, whether she liked it or not. So as expected, she was patrolling the border as was in her job description as an Hearthkeeper when she spotted the figure of an unfamiliar feline. The clouded leopard wasted no time opening her jaws to inhale the attached scent (it smelled strange and foreign, but otherwise faded) before approaching. "What's your business here?" the words were smoothed and collected, much like their owner, as Stellamaris wasted no time with small talk. Names and such made no matter to her whilst there were more pressing matters to address, as was her duty to the group. Although she sincerely doubted that the small little thing before her would pose a significant threat. Re: WAIT FOR IT // joining - GORDON CIPHER. - 08-12-2018 Indeed, Gordon was no threat to Sunhaven. The little she-cat could barely hurt a fly, even if she wanted to. She honestly just wanted a safe place to live, a place where her father couldn't find her. As Stellamaris came over, Gordon backed up a bit, feeling her heart pound in her chest. "I-I, um..." She stammered out, blinking up at the much larger female. "I-I'm here to join, and my name's Gordon. Gordon Cipher," She almost felt like she had to use the last name, out of fear her father would find her and hurt her if she did not. It was strange to note that Stellamaris didn't ask her of her name at first, but it was a nice change of pace than your average 'name and business'.

The maine coon couldn't exactly relate to Gordon- Buckingham never felt very uncomfortable in large groups. In the past, Bucky used to be apart of two groups, and he'd consider them both to be relatively large. He didn't live in the first group for very long, as some problems quickly arose, but he considered the second group to be his home for a long time. The two groups were like polar opposites, the first being peaceful and friendly, the second being violent and brutal. While people here might not seem to realize it, Buckingham fit well into the second group- he wasn't bothered by their aggressive actions, and didn't hesitate to take part. For a long time, before he even got fully into the group, Bucky used to be someone's asset- very quickly the male was shaped into an assassin, and he wasn't afraid to kill. Though, even after months of breaking away from his handler, Bucky continued to live in the group. He continued to be an assassin, but instead of for his handler, he did it for himself. He thought he'd never be able to truly let go of the person he was molded into, and that once sweet, humble tom was gone for good. It took him a lot of courage to leave. He knew it was hard to change his mannerisms after having them driven into his skull, but it was taking a toll on him. He was getting fucking tired, tired of tearing families apart, making people weep over their dead loved ones, and taking innocent lives. He had to escape that dangerous life, which was why he forced himself to leave it behind and don't look back. He wants to change this time around, he doesn't want to kill without reason. Buckingham found himself padding near the border of Sunhaven, each step light as ever, as if his paws were feathers. The male barely put any weight into his paws, the end result being- barely making a sound. This was one thing that Bucky just knows he can't get rid of from his time as an asset- being sneaky as fuck. Trust me, he's tried to get out of this habit- he failed at every attempt. Padding near, but not at the border has it's perks. The maine coon is able to watch scenes unfold without people even noticing his presence- as if he's hiding in the shadows. The male blinked slowly as he noticed Gordon jump back, pricked ears picking up every word coming from Gordon and Stellamaris- with his enhanced senses, it makes things like this easier. Gordon Cipher, it certainly isn't a name that sounds familiar to the tom. Without saying a word, the former assassin began to pad over to the felines, light blue eyes locked on Gordon. As before, each step he made was delicate and gentle, barely any noise radiating off of his body. When the male finally arrived to the scene, he padded near Stellamaris, appearing as if he came out of no where. "Welcome to Sunhaven, Gordon," Buckingham spoke up with an expression that could barely be detected- a minuscule smile. "I'm Buckingham Barnes- but feel free to call me Bucky." Re: WAIT FOR IT // joining - GORDON CIPHER. - 08-13-2018 Gordon didn't want to leave her family, if she was honest. She was usually with her twin brother, Billiam, but unfortunately the male had disappeared during her time in The Ascendants. They both escaped their father and ran off at the same time, however they got separated during the escape. Gordon didn't want to leave Caesar; he was her father, after all, but she couldn't handle the way he treated her and Billiam. He always yelled and screamed at them for doing things he didn't like, such as her hobby with flower crowns, and honestly had hit them a few times. It's where the scar on her stomach came from, and she was lucky to have survived it.
Bucky's presence startled Gordon and the little she-cat let out a squeak of surprised as the male seemingly appeared out of nowhere. Her gaze slowly went up to stare at his face, before it immediately went back down to her paws. Not only was Bucky huge compared to her, she also didn't like staring at people for too long, fearful that they'd get angry for her doing so. Luckily for her, Bucky's voice was calm and non-threatening, which seemed to ease Gordon a bit. "Ah, th-thanks," She managed to reply to him. "It-it's nice to meet you." ★ i am a lion born from things you cannot be ! ━
Re: WAIT FOR IT // joining - PIERCE - 08-14-2018 [div style="margin-top: 30px; text-align: center; font-family: timesnewroman; font-size: 35px; color: white;"]pierce parker ☀ — just two ghosts standing in the place of you and me space The timidness, the scarring, the stutter- if there was one thing Pierce could see in this girl, it was himself. He did not know her history, no, didn't know if she had been born with her speech impediment or if it was trauma-induced, like his, his that still resurfaced, had been. He didn't know if the horrid scar across her stomach was from a surgery or accident of sorts or from battle, but he could at least see that same nervousness in her green eyes, the same one that he had struggled with for so long, especially when he was young - though, who was he kidding, he still struggled with it now. Pierce meandered over shortly after Buckingham, honey visionaries flicking over the much smaller feline's form as he stood, quiet, for the time being. If she was intimidated by Bucky's size, Pierce was certainly no better, but he had a rather unassuming demeanor, with his little leather bag filled with flowers and pencils, the smudge of paint on his chin, and his freckled cheeks. Despite the ugly scars that were carved into his flesh, he looked rather innocent, eyes large and sparkling and a kind smile upon his features. "Welcome to the clan, Miss Gordon," he spoke gently, voice like the sweet whisperings of the breeze as he instinctively tacked the "Miss" onto her name, as an old "friend" had taught. The thought of said friend made the muscles in his jaw tense ever so slightly, but it didn't show on his face. "I'm Pierce- it's nice to meet you! Let me know if you need help with anything, okay, hun?" He was always glad to help his clanmates - and anyone, really - out when needed. It was gratifying, yeah, but it made him feel useful above all else, which god knew was something he needed. "speech" space
Re: WAIT FOR IT // joining - GORDON CIPHER. - 08-15-2018 A serval was much bigger than a maine coon and Gordon's wide eyes flickered to Pierce for a moment and she merely stared at him in shock. Caesar was half-serval and therefore looked almost like Pierce in terms of size (though his color was much brighter than the coat Pierce had). Once again, Gordon stepped back a few paces, almost as if she felt claustrophobic. Luckily Pierce seemed to be non-threatening and Gordon was able to calm her worries about him quickly, but that still didn't change the fact she was so big compared to her. Everyone was, what was new? Unlike most short creatures, though, Gordon didn't entirely mind her height. In fact, it made her hide a lot better.
If Pierce asked her about her scar, Gordon likely wouldn't have answered him. She wanted to keep the past behind her, despite it always coming back to haunt her, and she was afraid that mentioning her father would bring him here and he'd force her to go back to The Typhoon with him. She couldn't be near him without her chest tightening and hurting, and she and her brother escaped due to the fear they felt for the savannah cat. Gordon almost regretted running off, because if Caesar ever found her, she was likely going to end up dead - along with her brother. Gordon swallowed back those thoughts, blinking up at Pierce as he spoke to her. She gave a short, quick nod in his direction. "R-right, okay, I will." She promised, trying to smile up at the larger male. ★ i am a lion born from things you cannot be ! ━
