The group was nice and all, but they were having internal problems that Mercy had no interest of taking part in. The lives of those trapped inside of the observatory were foreign to the dragon, and as a result they were not particularly invested in getting them out and using up their own energy for it. The members already there were far more equipped for it than Mercy was. They would manage just fine. But the result of their little problem was that it was quite... stagnant there. Boring, but mixed with this constant unnerved energy as the few members outside of the observatory ran around like chickens with their heads cut off to try and find a way to save their friends. If Mercy was anyone else, someone with far more intents of murder than just simple mercenary work, they might have taken the opportunity to kill each and every one of them, then left those in the observatory to die from lack of oxygen or food... whatever got to them first. But no, they weren't that kind of murderer. Their practices were immoral to a fault, but until they were commanded to kill and got something out of it, everyone remained politely untouched. Still, they had packed their things and left almost instantly to not deal with the present drama, paws carrying them forward to a clan that most likely suited their needs far more than the ascendants ever could. The rosebloods; a fitting name for someone like them, given the juxtaposition of what the clan did. It reminded them of their own name, and so they had arrived in the dead of night, shadows unable to obscure their pale form. Not that they minded, the faster others would come the better and being near invisible wouldn't aid their cause. They waited, head inclined politely towards the territory, paws just short of the path that started outside of the forest. Where they sat the trees seemed far thinner, the forest before them obscuring any and all view they had of what lay beyond it. It would be safe to assume that others may have already been looking out upon them, waiting for them to take one wrong step and come out claws unsheathed, ready to rip into their throat. The thought was, albeit concerning, amusing at the same time. If they valued patience, however, then patience they would get, for Mercy had no intentions of moving forward until someone appeared, whether that took five minutes or an entire day. They were a patient individual, a consequence of many reasons that were too vast to name. when residing in a clan full of the sorts of individuals that housed in the rosebloods, peytriviing had built up a tough skin and patience for days. tolerance to the unusual and disresectful. to troublemakers and busybodies. something in peytriviing gave them a sense as though they've dealt with it before. not when they had been within the old clans. when they were sill a child and still learning about the world. within the blurred memories of the time between those years ago and now.
it's hard to think that they were alive now though. living and breathing once more. one moment they were cold, life fleeting quickly from their small body before eventually... nothing. then they were here. a year and a half later. the manticore was glad to be here with their family now of course. they had missed the mortems and pendragons. cain was at their side, and their family had grown since their death. it was something good to come back to, at the very least. "hello, is there anything i may help you with?" they asked once approaching mercy. they stopped a few feet away from them, not wanting to overwhelm with their size. space
