THE POWER OF THE FORCE [o, visit] - Owlie - 04-01-2018

He stared down at the boiling pit, walking along the edge ever so lightly. He didn’t leave any paw prints- no sound. The area around him bathed in the blue light exerted from his incorporeal body. The front of him, his mane and paws, reflected the orange hues from the lava below.

He remembered it well. ”I HATE YOU!” It was nothing now.
“I hate it when you brood over volcanoes.”
Anakin turned, greeted by the robed ghostly form of Obi-wan Kenobi. Anakin rolled his eyes. Kenobi chuckled and disappeared, leaving Anakin be.

Anakin proceeded to walk along the edge, bathed in red and blue, and suddenly stopped, looking up at the night sky. Limitless.
Anakin stopped, stepped away from the volcano, and taking in a breath. He let the ground ebb and hum, flowers sprouting out of dead earth and following along his path.

He wondered how his kids were doing.
He then wondered, if anyone lived around here.

Re: THE POWER OF THE FORCE [o, visit] - PINCHER - 04-02-2018

the devil's backbone
DENIZ "PINCHER" ROUX — MALE — THE TYPHOON — CAPTAIN — DOBERMAN
the volcano. it was probably the most dangerous thing in the island next to the sea monster that lived among the typhoon. it's boiling hot liquid would bubble and simmer with no halt or stopping though it didn't exceed to the point that it was a threat to the island. pincher was slightly uncomfortable with the idea of living alongside an active volcano that could very much explode at any given moment and drown everyone in burning fire and pain than the vast ocean that surrounded them. if that did happen today, tomorrow, or any other day in the future, pincher would find it ironic that they were the cause of their destruction. self-destruction is the word, right? he knew some members that had tempers similar to the volcano and he had to admit that he, himself did not have the most patient mindset in the world. there were things that ticked pincher off to the point he was desiring to murder someone out of pure spite but knowing that he now lead a group of members that trusted him enough to follow him, he had to become a more level-headed captain than he had previously been when it had just been his crew and not the voodoo house.

his light cinnamon coffee brown paws thudded softly against the ivory white sand of the barracuda bay when the blowing wind was laced with a scent that he did not recognize, one that obviously did not belong to the typhoon crewmates. his arctic gaze dragged across the environment in front of him to find the culprit that was trespassing but found no one near him. so instead, the captain began to trace down the outsider and managed to find an unusual trail — one made out of rich fresh flowers that seemed odd from the rich volcano earth that yet needed to settle to create any vegetation growth. wrinkling his nose, he followed until he caught sight of a creature he did not recognize. instantly, a low thundering growl began to rumble in his throat as the doberman halted a few feet away from anakin, velvety long ears twisting and drawing down against his sleek skull as pincher snapped "oi! you're in typhoon territory, fucker! mind telling me who you are before shit hits the fan?!" his upper lip curled backwards, revealing shark-like teeth that were ready to tear into flesh. he wasn't fond of intruders especially ones that he had managed to not notice quickly coming into his home.

Re: THE POWER OF THE FORCE [o, visit] - ARGUS - 04-02-2018

&& BLOOD CLEARING - NEW BEGINNINGS!
Argus was used to the dead attaching to her, although it was mostly the desperate, the keen of ghosts with their chains of fate's distorting their image. With pleading desperate eyes they would flock to her and beg- beg for some definite of what happens afterward. It is her job to let them pass over, but it is not her job to tell them- and she spends her time toeing the line of job and duty. She was a fighter, she was not put here to record the memories and judge, that was reserved for outside forces. She just cleaned up the mess before it got too messy.

The fact was- she knew ghosts, knew them in and out. Knew how some would appear much different in death than they did in death. She knew what happened when their time ran out and they refused to move on. She wondered sometimes what her enemies would become. What her friends were to become. She just hoped none were stuck like her, and so far none had been, none that she had seen.

She was so s o grateful.

But there was a time, seldom found she would find a familiar ghost. And usually, she would sit with them, converse with one of the few she had been haunted by mentally. She would tell them what she knew of reincarnation, what she knew of the afterlife and how fickle it was- as mortality. She would laugh and remember and she would ask if they needed a send-off. She would leave them to disintegrate forgotten or surrender to whatever afterlife they believed in.

It came as a surprise to recognize Anakin. The large lion nothing like the husk of an animal she knew him as. She was... Wasn't sure what to think about his appearance. Tried not to think about what it meant to see such a lion lingering in this plane instead of passing.

But she had appearances to keep, a leader to sooth and would need to give Anakin some sort of way o u t. She knew what happened when a spirit lingers, and tries not to think how horrid it would be if he were to befell it. "Maa, good luck hitting that one captn', takes a special sort of crazy to hit a ghost & expect it to land

Re: THE POWER OF THE FORCE [o, visit] - Owlie - 04-02-2018

It was more surprising to Anakin for them to see him. He bet it was a slip up on his part. His appearance was normally limited to Force Users, or someone who desperately needed divine intervention.

He looked at the captain with a bored expression, though tilted his head slightly at the sight of the teeth. Anakin had fought enough and lived long enough that weird, misshapen mutants didn’t bother him anymore. There was the occasional outlier- aquatic traits were uncommon.
The cursing was nothing new to him, he caught himself from rolling his eyes. He had taught his own kids against vulgarity- there were way better insults than that.

"Ekkreth." His voice was confident and held the underlying rumble of power. It was a half truth at least- Skywalker meant Ekkreth.

He looked back at the volcano for a moment.
”Sightseeing.”
