Guideless haze (dimitri) - MirrorEdge - 08-08-2018
Something Gwen was still getting used to was being in an environment that was cold enough all year round to be able to see your breath. It was a bit distracting for the kitsune, now sporting a bright red scarf that made her stick out even more than she wanted to.
"Hey, uh, Dimitri?" She called, as she neared the tom's cabin, tilting her head as pale blue optics searched for signs of life. "You home?" [member=1172]dimitri.[/member] Re: Guideless haze (dimitri) - Dimitri - 08-09-2018

"DUPLICATE" DIMITRI
Spin the wheel and she luckily got Dimitri. The tom sat up as he heard his name being called, moving to the door and jumping up to turn the lever handle. He opened the door slightly, his head sticking out, and then walked out of the cabin to see the kitsune calling his name. "Hi, Gwen, right?” Dimitri looked over to see fresh powdered snow on Dakota’s sprouting garden, and swiped at it with his tail, trying to clear them off. ”Something you need?”

Re: Guideless haze (dimitri) - MirrorEdge - 08-09-2018
"Y-yeah, Gwen." She mumbled, making her way over quickly, eyes darting towards the garden for a few moments, before back to Dimitri. "I was just curious about some things, about Snowbound. A-at least, stuff like how the people here are." It took her a few moments to realize that she might be suggesting she didn't like some of the people here, and she was quick to try and correct that, making her stutter a bit worse from the worry and anxiety that suddenly hit her. "N-not that anybody here is unkind, o-or anything. I was j-just curious."
Was this stupid? Yeah. It was mostly just due to Gwen being unable to ask questions, not without questioning whether she looked like an idiot, and whether she would offend that person. Re: Guideless haze (dimitri) - Dimitri - 08-10-2018

"DUPLICATE" DIMITRI Dimitri smiled, opening his door a little wider. "Well, come on in, then. Do you need anything?" He asked, waiting for her to enter his cabin. You could wonder if Dimitri had roommates. On the right corner by the door was a desk with colored pencils and paints, crudely drawn paintings hung on the walls. Donovan had developed his front left corner a little more. There was a little table there now, too. He had poetry written, the pansexual flag hung in a vase, and a bottle of perfume. Darby had taken the left wall, where he had stunting plans laid out on another table and something about “skiing” whatever that was. On the far right corner was a folded blanket and a bookshelf, about half full of titles. On the right wall was a rectangular coffee table. On the left side of that was a few bottles of whiskey. On the right, Delta had five books- the 48 Laws of Power, the Art of War, and three similar titles. She also had a small collection of knives, battle plans, and strategies. Divertimento had taken the last corner. There was a circular, small table there now with board games on it. Dimitri’s sleeping basket was against the far wall, right about where the sun shined in the morning. He still didn’t have that many possessions- his space was sacrificed for his alters. "So.... The first thing you should know about me is that I have... multiple personalities.

Re: Guideless haze (dimitri) - MirrorEdge - 08-10-2018
A small nod, and she slowly enters the cabin. Gwen was in a bit in awe at the differences in the house, how knives are lined up neatly in one part, and drawing supplies are in another.
Wonder if others live here besides Dimitri. Eyes quickly skimming the titles that were on Delta's bookshelf, she tilts her head, wondering how the same person could live here. It was as if somebody had cut up multiple pictures, and taped them back together using other pieces, at least, that's how she processed it. "Multiple personalites?" A bit of confusion can be seen on her face. "S-so, it's like, you're stuck in a body with others?" How does that work? Do you have control over who's in 'charge'? Do you guys fight, or can tolerate each other, for the most part? She kept these to herself, for now at least. She'd hate to seem rude, and her curiousity was something that she tried her best to keep satisfied, but it was difficult when she was terrified to ask too many questions. "DUPLICATE" DIMITRI "Not stuck. S- sharing,” He corrected, rolling his shoulders and moving, dragging out one of his blankets and offered her a seat on it. "I don’t mind questions if you have any...” He admitted, grabbing his journal from under the blankets in his basket, and bringing it over to her. "Seven others...”

Re: Guideless haze (dimitri) - MirrorEdge - 08-10-2018
"O-oh. Sorry. And seven others?" She paused for a few moments, trying to imagine it, and to be honest, she wasn't quite sure how Dimitri handled it. "Is it difficult? Do you g-guys fight or can you at least tolerate each other?" Looking at the room, she had a feeling the answer was that they got along okay, considering everybody had their own space, and it seemed that was respected, but still. "And what're their names?"

"DUPLICATE" DIMITRI "S-seven, yes.” he opened up the journal to the page with their names and different handwritings. ”I’m Dimitri. Then I have Dakota, Donovan, Dagon, Daisy, Delta, Darby, and Divertimento...” He pointed to each of the names as he said it, as the journal supplied a description of how the alters described themselves. " i’d say it makes my life harder because I always have to consider seven other people... I used to fight with Dagon more when I was younger but not as much now. Any other questions?”

Re: Guideless haze (dimitri) - MirrorEdge - 08-11-2018
"Imagine trying to initial things, huh." Gwen mumbled. It was a bit like having 7 siblings, and everybody, in this case, shared a room. So initialing things probably didn't work out too well. "Does it make life easier or harder? And do you have any control of who's.... uh, out?" Dumb question. I bet that sounded at least a bit rude or offensive. Crap. She was quick to try and correct herself. "Like... you're talking to me now, Dimitri, but say, if Dagon or Delta wanted to talk to me, would they be able to right now?"

"DUPLICATE" DIMITRI
"We sign our journal entries, otherwise I’ve never had to initial anything.” All their names started with D. How would they do that? "I’d say it’s... done both things. Having someone with a skillset I don’t have is very useful. Someone who’ braver than me to fight my fights. But...” It’s made his life harder and he felt that as he looked about their cabin. "I’ve had to sacrifice my cabin for them, time to them...” He sighed. ”I owe it to them, though...” "Yes and no? Some of them are triggered out by things going on. But someone could be... slowly summoned?”

|
